Roland is great vet and very knowledgable about cats. He is always caring and his manner always keeps our cat calm. Roland always carefully checks our cat's weight and teeth and gives us little pointers on how to keep him in good shape. I would highly recommend The Avenue Vet!

Fantastic local Vet. Roland really cares and will always go out of his way to treat/advise and we always feel, he has our pet’s best interest at heart. Totally trust him and has been amazing with our Cockerpoo, who loves Roland just as much as we do!

Roland is an extremely thorough, calm and professional vet. The appointment times are generously spaced so you don't enter a waiting area with several animals, which has historically been stressful for my dogs. Pricing is mid-range, so not the cheapest practice, but, ultimately you get what you pay for and this is an extremely high quality care provider. Whilst I was in the practice, a collapsed dog required emergency treatment. Roland attended to the dog immediately and that is exactly what I would want if one of my beloved pets were in desperate need. I have often found that there are locums in other practices, to be able to see the same vet at every appointment, who gets to know the pets and their owners, is extremely helpful.

We would absolutely recommend The Avenue Vets to anyone. Roland, Billy and the rest of the team are so helpful and make you feel at ease. Our dog is very nervous going to the vets and they are extremely kind and patient with him. Very happy with their service.

I'll never go anywhere else now; I took my dog for his annual vaccination today and Roland gave him a full and thorough health check too, asking lots of questions to make sure I was on top of every aspect of his well being. I left with helpful advise on keeping his teeth clean and the energy content of snacks so that I can manage his weight. He also explained the vaccination to me and gave me a breakdown so that I understood exactly what is was for. He is so very caring and really takes his time so that you leave feeling confident that your pet is happy and healthy. His colleague on reception is always cheery, helpful and switched on. First class service and everyone I recommend feels the same.

The Avenue Vet is a lovely, clean, bright and a cosy place to be for you and your pet (a kitten for me). It is a cat friendly practice with a special waiting area for cats and their owners.
The attention our cat and us received from the vet was great, plety of information, all questions answered, no rush at all.
