Providing training since 1990, The Beauty Academy is the UK’s leading private beauty training provider. We invest in our centres & staff to provide the best! We are VTCT Approved Training Providers. Courses are ABT & IPHM Accredited providing recognised qualifications. We have 6 centres nationwide, as our permanent & exclusive training Academies. We do not operate from salon back rooms, hotels or conference suites! Our friendly tutors are all fully qualified Beauty Therapists & Educators, with vast experience. Courses are non-brand specific, so you’re not tied to expensive products brands once qualified. Our expert in-house Support Team are all practicing Beauty Therapists with the skills & knowledge to support you through your studies & beyond. We keep group sizes small (typically 4-12 students). We provide all products & tools at the centre for your training, unlike many providers that push sales of ‘compulsory’ expensive kits. No models are needed to attend. Most courses are beginner friendly, with advanced courses for professionals also available. Book with complete confidence that you will receive the highest standard of training to be industry ready!

Amazing experience run by Jemma in the Reading centre! I would highly recommend! I felt welcomed, respected and really enjoyed my time here. I feel so confident leaving to go on my own and practice what I have learnt and have also learnt really valuable information! Jemma is lovely and an amazing member of the team. Great course, great tutor!
Brilliant day on the Facial massage course. Really well put together course, expertly run by our lovely and very knowledgeable tutor; Fleur.

Highly Recommend
The Tutor (Fleur) made me feel so at ease and comfortable. We were able to ask lots of questions and the practical was taken step by step to ensure we fully understood. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant course
Absolutely great course on express massage lead by Jemma today! Genuinely enjoyed every minute of the course! Jemma was great at explaining and showing massage techniques, giving us students useful tips and tricks. Absolutely brilliant, I would recommend it to anyone and will most definitely be back to The Beauty Academy in Reading to do another course! 😊 Thank you!

I did the luxury mani and pedi course, builder gel in bottle and gel polish course with Gemma, and gel extensions with fleur at the Reading Academy over the last 4-5 weeks. Both teachers were amazing, really friendly, knowledgeable, spoke and coached from personal experience. Content of courses was great and have left them all feeling ready and excited to start my nail tech business. Can’t recommend enough! Thank you x

Great tutor
Great tutor, really experienced with a friendly attitude. Made me feel really welcomed and encouraged questions. Gave us really useful tips in addition to the standard training. I will definitely come back for training here.

Shinfield facial training
I did the facial training today and not only was it really informative and left me feeling confident, it was also such a fun and lovely way to spend a day. Very hands on learning which made it so much easier to take everything in. I'll be back for more!
