Made a purchase but they never shipped and did not respond to any messages. Had to file a chargeback claim.

I feel like I have had a carrot shoved down my throat every time I go to this Derm Review site. Is Carrot Stick sticking its products down my throat because they have an agenda? Who are these carrots. The information is usually outdated but favorable with reviews however they often give an outstanding history of the line. With each weak review they shove a Carrot Stick on you siting a superior product of theirs to fill the place of the product they just reviewed. This is dishonest, In this faux Skin review blog I would not trust them one bit. It is an elaborate scam to promote what I think is practically a ghost line on life support.

This website is totally a scam! Item did not arrive and kept providing wrong customer information to the delivery company. Asked for a refund but they lied through deliveries all the time.

First thing is that they're complete b.s., only cosplaying as a review site for skincare products. All they do is push Carrot & Stick everything and immediately related products. Second thing is that their products are average at best and laughably overpriced. Third thing is subscription service that they resist cancelling, to the point I had to report them to my bank and threaten the company with legal action. -- I tried out their "Day & Night" product batch, and it was alright, no complaints with it other than the price tag and how nearly identical it was in effect to the most things you can get (and I have) from CVS or Walgreen's. -- These guys are bogus. Save your money. You can save lots of it by going to your local drugstore and buying there.

Opposite of transparent. Slimy marketing. This website misrepresents as an unbiased skincare testing/comparing blog. IT IS NOT.

If you take the time to read through the fine-print, they disclose the information… but they are trying to mislead the average user by presenting as a generic review site for skincare. “THIS SITE IS AFFILIATED WITH FORMULYST AND CARROT & STICK, WHOSE PRODUCTS ARE AMONG THOSE WE REVIEW AND RANK.”

This is a site pretending to be an objective review site, but it they blatantly bring up a skincare brand called Carrot & Stick every single post even when not relevant to their product line. There is no such thing as a perfect skincare brand, but when you add it to a post for the "best" when they don't even have a competitive product? I wouldn't have even noticed if I had only read one or two of their articles. Most consumers are over content marketing and paid for reviews, even when they are technically honest. I want to know what actual dermatologists think from a site called the derm review, not what someone who may or may not be a derm is paid to push. Better yet, Carrot can make great products, people will talk about them without being paid, and they won't need an entire site dedicated to them. Easy as.

This is why I almost always go to Reddit and super transparent unbiased zero disclosure review sites after skimming the "blogs" when googling a product question.

Unfortunately, the unbiased advice through my consumer reports membership doesn't include skincare and makeup. I would pay for it, though, probably twice as much.
