A very promising concept that has failed. Suspected data leak and/or fraud
A very promising concept, but the execution has been non-existent. I placed an order in December, and by May, I had received neither the card nor a response to my queries. The only communication was a vague email mentioning an internal update followed by a takeover. I eventually had to secure a refund via a bank chargeback.
More alarmingly, I strongly suspect a data breach or fraudulent activity. I used a specific virtual card exclusively for this app and uploaded my driving licence for verification. A few days ago, that exact card was hit with multiple fraudulent transactions. While I cannot definitively prove the source, the link is highly suspicious. Exercise extreme caution

Do not join or pay any money to them. You will not receive any card or a refund. They do not respond to any of the emails. An automated email was received initially stating a refund will be issued within 7 days, which was not received. It has been 5 months now I haven’t received my refund nor any response from them. Sending email, massage regularly but still no reply from them. Avoid at all cost.

When it works it’s great. It’s understandable that a smaller start struggled when there were thousands of new members. Responses and updates however could be faster. But it is a real thing, there are real savings :) it’s just a bit slow moving

I payed for my card on 16th of December 2025, they said it would be ordered on the 3rd of January due to Christmas break/ new year. Taking a bit of time to be processed. Still haven't got the card to this day or refund; they stated you would receive the diesel card within 10 days of it being ordered. After a complete lack of communication to everyone; not getting my card within the time stated. I emailed and WhatsApp on the 28th of January. The response was WhatsApp in-which they said WhatsApp was the best way of contacting them highlighted in Bold, as "paid up member". Now within this response they stated sorry for the delay due to high demands which I understand, however they said the card was returned back to them due to wrong shipping information on the printing address.
After hearing this I thought a mistake was made and the message said, the card would be issued to be shipped later that day on the 26th of January with the correct information. They then stated that a full refund would be sent to my bank card, which will take 1-2 days + £10 free diesel. I thought brilliant, good customer service and felt I was looked after (so I thought!!!!). At the end of this message it said - "This should be with you in the next 5-7 days or sooner"
Now this is where its just completely unacceptable, I have tried to stay positive throughout the whole situation and give them benefit of the doubt. Once again I haven't received the card or money. I contacted them again on the 13th of February, saying politely requesting an update on the whereabouts of my card. I gave them the benefit of the doubt contacting them 2 weeks after giving them more than enough time to send it, I heard nothing back!!! I further then contacted them another time on the 4th of March, after they have missed the second deadline given months later and still no refund or diesel card received or response. I said within my WhatsApp message this is completely unacceptable and want my refund!!!
This brings me to present day writing this not very well written review, I have completely given up on this card/company. This is the definition of a scam!!!, I heard only good things about the diesels card from friends who have used them for ages, (before buying the card). Even long term customers haven't received their new updated card and still no update on whats happening. Due to what happening now in the world at the time of writing this, there is no hope for this refund. I would not recommend this to anyone and would stay away !!!!

This was a new startup company
This was a new startup company, and I believe they had good intentions, but ran into technical issues. Having to re-write the system on another platform.
Admittedly, customer service was slow, but I think the we’re focused on getting up and running as a priority.
They did own a Reddit page, full of information, and disgruntled users. Many asking the same Q’s over, and over again.
Unfortunately, this has taken the patience out of users as expected, and mentioned around here too.
I had a card, it worked, it worked well, and I did make savings on fuel, and genuinely wanted this to work, especially in the current climate of today.
Sadly, I had a notification, for compulsory strike-off from the Gazette.
Shame.

My advice is stay well away from this i joined back in January and still no card they also said they would refund in full the joining fee to people that joined before 5 January that i did and not received my joining fee and i have emailed and i have messaged them on watsapp many times and nothing back from them this is a scam stay well away
Ordered my card in November
Ordered my card in November, was told 4 weeks wait, now nearly in May and still no card, zero communication from them after sending numerous emails and messages on the WhatsApp number. Was talk of getting a virtual card and a refund of my membership due to the delays, neither has happened. I have now requested a refund via my credit card company. Old saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" very much the case with these. Avoid at all costs unless you want to hand over £30 to never receive your fuel card or any kind of response from them.

Four months have lapsed now. They never issued a card, the membership apparently got missed, & customer services promised a refund that never materialised!!
Absolute Scam – Over 5 Months of False Promises and No Refund
I would leave 0 stars if Trustpilot allowed it. I joined The Diesel Club in November 2025, and it has been a masterclass in deception ever since.
First, I was fed a line that my card was finally sent out in early January 2026. It never arrived. After chasing them for a refund, their own app claimed that refunds were being "processed" in February 2026. We are now well into April, and I have yet to see a single penny.
Their communication is a joke. Every email is met with a meaningless, scripted reply full of false promises that they never intend to keep. At this point, they aren't a fuel club; they are just professional scammers holding onto people's money.
DO NOT JOIN. You will lose your membership fee and get nothing but a headache in return.

Ordered my card back in December 2025, received nothing and if you contact them you get an automated email saying it’s been received but you will never hear back from a real person. Really disappointing as seems like it used to be legit but now they just take your money and leave!

Ordered in November 2025, its now almost april and they've not contacted me once. Ive not received ANYTHING, but they took my money. Ive tried reaching out ove every available means. Ive also issued a refund request with my payment method but theyre hesitant and are waiting to see if diesel club will contest / respond.

Too good to be true
I have to say, I got my card towards the end of last year and it was great, working brilliant everytime, but as the new year started it stopped working, they sent a message out saying that the was working on it and trying to get it fixed, that was months ago, sent multiple emails and WhatsApp messages to get no reply from anyone
Purchased membership nothing received 6weeks+
Purchased membership, Jan 29, "should be 4 weeks" we are now in march, 24th to be precise, multiple emails, and whatsapp messages have gone unanswered, no contact, no card, app doesnt say anything. I dont know what to say, I work as a contractor and this looked a good way to save some money on my fuel bills, but looks as if they cant deliver at this point. I can see it DID have some good reviews, but as of late, everyone is having the same issues.

I January I sent an email regarding an update and received no response. Its now 17th March, coming up to 4 months since ive ordered the card and I havent received anything. No response to the multiple emails ive sent, no refund. Nothing. I wont call it a scam as there are many positive reviews but I would like a refund asap.

Tempered to contact 3 times for a refund ordered beginning of December and never had a peep out of them over 4 months later and no card or refund. Shambles of a company and clearly a scam
