Not worth it

Not worth it, they make returns so hard that most people give up. Communication is slow and they do that on purpose to wear you down.

As this item was fulfilled directly by adidas, the return authorisation and label are issued by the brand. There were some delays that extended the process longer than usual, and we sincerely apologise for that. The return label has now been provided and we’re currently awaiting the item’s return.

No refund

I ordered two pairs of shoes well intime to gift my daughter for Christmas 25. I got one correct and one wrong pair. I returned the wrong pair and got an acknowledgement of receipt on 2 Jan 26 and since then no refund or follow up. Horrible company to deal with, will take down Myer along with them. Stay away from DOM for sure

Repeat order cancellations

I am so disappointed to be writing this review.
I have made two purchases of Adidas products from The Dom. Both were eventually cancelled due to a “technical stock-count error”.

The first time I was happy to write off as a ‘too good to be true’ type situation. After the second time however, I discovered a concerning trend.

Upon making these purchases The Dom were the best value on the market - with nil stock being displayed on the Adidas Au web store. However, after each cancellation these items would be removed from The Dom and relisted on the Adidas store at full retail exclusively in the sizes that had been canceled.

I don’t fully understand this business model or how the technical stock count that Adidas advises The Dom of isn’t applied to their own inventory.

Alas, I would be very hesitant to purchase from The Dom unless you are happy to roll the dice on receiving the product(s) ordered.

To explain clearly: The DOM is a marketplace and digital outlet, working with brands like Adidas who manage their own stock, pricing, and fulfilment. For sale periods, brands allocate a limited quantity of stock at a discounted price specifically for The DOM. During high demand, this allocated outlet stock can unfortunately sell out before systems fully sync, which results in a cancellation due to a stock-count error.

When the item later appears on the Adidas AU website at full price, this is separate retail inventory, not the discounted outlet stock originally allocated to The DOM. We understand how frustrating and confusing this looks — especially when you successfully ordered at the best price available at the time.

This isn’t the experience we want customers to have, and we’re actively raising these issues with our brand partners to improve accuracy and transparency. Your feedback is valid, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share it.

We’re sorry we let you down and hope we can regain your trust in the future.

Very disappointed! Placed an order for a pair of Samba’s which were on sale, waited a week and no correspondence and then the money was returned to my account. No email, no contact as to why! Terrible customer service

This has been, without a doubt, the worst online shopping experience

I am writing to express my absolute outrage regarding my recent order. This has been, without a doubt, the worst online shopping experience I have ever encountered.
​It has been over 9 days since I placed my order, during which I received zero updates. My inquiries via your service chat were completely ignored. It was only after I went out of my way to email headquarters that I was told—two days later—that the item is out of stock and a refund will be issued.
​This is completely unacceptable. If an item is out of stock, it should never have been listed for sale. Holding my money for 10 days only to tell me you can't fulfill the order is a total failure of service.
​I will never shop here again, and I will be sure to share this experience on every review platform possible. I expect immediate confirmation that my refund has been processed.
