This is the highest quality mushroom company I have tried. The blends are excellent, potent and clean. I’ve been using them for a few months and I have felt a significant improvement on mood, energy and focus. I have also tried the decaf coffee and not only does it taste like real coffee freshly ground but the added mushrooms provide energy that lasts longer than regular coffee.

I found out about The Functional Mushroom Co recently as I was looking for mushroom blends for my nutritional therapy clients and needed products that are organic, responsibly sourced, and at therapeutic dosages. There are so many brands on shelves that don't care about these three elements but if you want to actually feel a difference it's important to find brands that prioritise these things.

I'm a cancer patient and read multiple studies that support the use of Wild Turkey Tail mushrooms to supplement chemotherapy. The key compounds are PSP and PSK.

The results collectively suggested that PSK serves as an immune modulator to enhance the effectiveness of adjuvant chemotherapy. The PSK groups demonstrate significantly longer survival compared to control groups.

While I've only been taking them for two weeks, I have noticed improved stability regarding my digestive system.

Time will tell if they're effective in prolonging my long-term survival.

According to the product details, these two capsules contain equivalent to 3600mg of Turkey Tail, and 7200mg of Red Reishi. Both are used in cancer treatment.

So far, I recommend this product on subscription as it will save you money, and medical sources suggest a common dose of 3 grams per day for 36 months.

Given to me as a present this wonderful flavoursome beverage decaffinated coffee with a kick! Arrived in a really nice practical tin with info cards about the different fungi and their benefits for health. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you!

The packaging is genius - from the old style apothecary glass bottle to the mushroom box, it’s super smart. And the product itself seems to actually be doing what it says on the tin (or glass bottle as the case may be).

I have been drinking the Ignition Blend decaf cordycep coffee for the last couple of months and found it gives me an incredible lift without the caffein jitters. It has weaned me off a caffein dependence, replacing it with something that wakes me and focuses me without the anxiety.

Since the covid pandemic I’ve felt like my immunity has been low, so I bought a subscription of the Flourish supplements as I wanted to improve and maintain my foundational health and immunity and I’ve read how reishi and turkey tail are very beneficial for this. I have also bought a subscription to the Ignition Blend coffee as I am trying to conceive and wanted to switch to decaf and thought I would benefit from the added cordyceps as it is a mushroom which is meant to be good for fertility as it can help regulate hormones. It is also the only mushroom coffee I have found which is hand roasted and can brewed as fresh coffee. As opposed to mushroom coffee from other brands which come as instant coffee and don’t taste very good. This coffee is delicious and it keeps me sharp. I have been taking both these products for 3 months now and I have been feeling less run down, but what I have noticed the most is how much more balanced in terms of mood and energy I have been feeling since taking them. I am really pleased with the quality of these products and have also enjoyed the quality of the design. I enjoy refilling my beautiful amber apothecary-like bottle of animate capsules every month. They look very good on my shelf.
