We highly recommend the Good Care Group
We contacted The Good Care Group in order to arrange respite care for my mother for a two week period. She was initially reluctant to have anyone living with her but as soon as she met our carer, Wafa, she was reassured and quickly settled into the new routine. Wafa was wonderful - kind, intuitive, sensitive and a brilliant cook. We couldn't have found a better person to support my mother.

We visited a friend with dementia and his carer from the Good Care Group was by the best he has had in our experience. She got him up at a reasonable time and was always communicating with him. Very well trained.

My friend lives alone and is dying
My friend lives alone and is dying. I’d been looking after her for a few days until the carer arrived. I showed the carer and care manager round, made drinks, talked to them about my friend, food/drink. I had a 3 hour drive back to my family. I said goodbye to my friend of 40 years not knowing if I’d see her again. The care manager was in the kitchen setting up the laptop. I walked in sobbing and sat down. She completely ignored me. After a few minutes I went to look for a tissue. I decided as the silence continued I would go and sit in my car. At that point the care manager offered me her business card. With tears streaming down my face I asked why I would need that? She said that she was there to care for everyone around my friend. I pointed out she hadn’t done a very good job in the last few minutes. When she’d finished her admin she came out to the car and offered me a cup of tea. She then left. Sadly my experience yesterday fell well short of the expectations my friend has for your company.

The Good Care Group has provided excellent support and service
The Good Care Group has provided excellent support in relation to provision of respite live-in-care for my mother after a fall and hip surgery. From the initial enquiry to provision of the care service and follow up interaction on how best to tailor the care package, the service has been first rate. Three carers have been involved over a six week period and all have been first rate, as has been the oversight by the care manager. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Good Care Group to others.

Very professional management team. Carers are also very caring and the level of training they must receive shows in all the care they give and within the systems they use. Really cannot recommend enough.

My father was stuck in hospital as a a package of care was not forthcoming. We contacted the good care group and explained. Within a couple of days my dad was home with a 24/7 live in carer initially for two weeks. His carer was knowledgeable, caring and had a good sense of humour. My dad is now back on his feet and becoming independent again. We have been kept up to date all the time. Superb service if affordable

Brilliant service
The good care group were very prompt in responding to my contact with them. Equally prompt at arranging an assessment of my husbands needs. This was done in our home and was very thorough. The also found a carer quickly and I was able to speak to him via video do I could judge whether he would be suitable for us. He was able to start a week later and after 2 weeks we are very happy with the care given and back up service from the admirable nurse and care manager.

Amazing place to work
I started at the good care group 18 months ago and did a year of live in care ,I then had some Time of for personal reasons knowing I can come back at any time
Witch I have now done today I went for a training day at the office in London, it was amazing to be back ,everyone was lovely and helpful as always
You are made to feel so welcome the training at the good care group is outstanding it felt amazing to be back today
I am ready to get started again knowing I work for this amazing company that are always there to support me every step of they way

Everyone at the Good Care Group have been extremely professional, caring and accommodating. From setting staff at the office and care manager in getting everything set up to the carers who are looking after my mother. They have all been brilliant.

Perfect respite care
Our carer for my mum was kind, easy to talk to, very compassionate. She made us all feel at ease from the minute she walked in the door and i was more than happy to leave mum in her capable hands whilst we went on holiday
