A Dream Holiday
We have just returned from the most wonderful family holiday at Ikos Aria, Kos. It was beyond our expectations. Sara Hardy, The Handmade Holiday Company, was an amazing source of information. We booked our trip to Paros through Sara at Handmade Holiday Co, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation.

Sara helped to organise our family's dream trip to Japan this Easter. She was always very helpful in answering all my questions before the trip, and she made sure that the whole family was happy with every part of our itinerary. Once in Japan, we could just relax and enjoy the sights as everything from tours to transportation had been pre-arranged.

The latest trip Sara organised for us was a cruise around the Med for ten days. As a novice to cruising and being quite sceptical about actually enjoying this type of holiday, Sara researched carefully the cruise line, type of cabin, dining options, together with the destinations to make sure we had exactly what we wanted for our budget. I particularly did not want any ‘days at sea’ so Sara organised our flights and transfers to and from the ship together with hotels either end, making the whole trip stress free and seamless. She even organised a special surprise in our cabin on our anniversary - she really thinks of everything. Thank you Sara !

I used Sara at the HandmadeHoliday company to organise our ski trip to Norway. We wanted to travel with another family and Sara went above and beyond to find just what we were looking for at the right price point. She even managed to persuade the hotel we stayed with, into letting 3 children sleep in a family room (previously we had been given a firm 'No! by the hoteliers) . Booking with Sara gave me the peace of mind that makes going on holiday a truly relaxing experience.

Sara coordinated a multigenerational holiday to Greece to celebrate a special birthday
At the airport we were advised by BA that, due to a last minute aircraft change, you wouldn’t be able to take your booked flight and could not be rebooked until 36 hours later.
Sara quickly arranged alternative flights for us and Transfers and arrival details were quickly sorted as well. Since we now had our car parked at the wrong airport, Sara arranged a private transfer when we returned to collect the car from Heathrow. And finally she helped us get a swift refund on the flight as well as good compensation from BA.
As a result we have of course already booked again with the Handmade Holiday Company. Such terrific support and fabulous holidays to boot!

Sara has gone above and beyond. Every detail of planning our holiday was handled perfectly right down to giving us clear guidance on exactly where to go once we arrive at our destinations. The planning was seamless, thoughtful and completely stress free which means we can just relax and enjoy the trip knowing everything has been taken care of. Great experience from start to finish. Sarah provided thoughtful and considerate recommendations. Was able to accommodate many of our requests and made the whole process of deciding and booking the holiday pain free .

Moreover, the airline unfortunately cancelled our outbound flights, which was not only inconvenient but also, with a young family, a real challenge. We had Sara at the end of the phone to help navigate the changes and supporting the arduous process of making claims after the holiday. We were very grateful for her support and professionalism.
