What made this a great experience next to the interesting agenda and good participants is the excellent preparation and support of the team leading up to, and during, the event.
The sessions itself went smooth and interesting, switching to the next sessions was short in time but doable, and moderating one session was great through the excellent preparation and willingness of the participants to actively and positively take part in the roundtable discussion.

Equally impressive is the quality and relevance of the events themselves. They are focused, insightful, and provide valuable opportunities to connect with industry peers while staying informed about the latest innovations and solutions presented by carefully selected partners.

Another significant advantage is the flexibility with which these events are organized. Leadership Board demonstrates a strong understanding of the demanding schedules of senior professionals and is able to tailor event formats and arrangements accordingly, ensuring maximum value while accommodating participants' time constraints.

Great Discussions. Super Format for persons that can't travel.

Bait-and-switch selling. Stay away, and if you are an executive in their "community," you should know how access to you is being sold.

I was approached on LinkedIn by one of their reps under the heading "Potential Partnership." The message said they were looking to work with a company able to support the CHROs, Talent Acquisition leaders and HR Directors in their network. When I asked directly where the opportunity was for my agency, I was told about "pre-qualified 1:1s" with enterprise leaders who had "a live AI talent gap," and that "Across partners, 60-70% of those meetings progress into active opportunities." I asked for an agenda before the call. At no point, in the chat, the invite or the agenda, was it disclosed that this is a paid subscription product.

On the call a different person joined and the "partnership" turned out to be a pitch for me to pay a subscription for introductions. The commercial model was withheld until they had me in the room, despite a direct question about what the opportunity was. That is bait-and-switch selling in my view, and their own website confirms the real product: they openly sell "private sales meetings" with executives to solution providers.

Two things worth flagging. The rep's messages arrived at 5:28 AM UK time, and the director on the call could quote the LinkedIn chat word for word, so the account that messaged me is clearly operated by a team, and I believe that fake Linkedin profiles are being used. This matches an ex-employee account on Glassdoor describing offshore workers running a "high volume of impersonal communication" on LinkedIn, with accounts repeatedly getting flagged and GDPR concerns raised internally.

If you are a CHRO or HR Director in this network: they claim to hold "150+ data points per leader" on you, and they are selling meetings with you through misleading outreach. If you are a vendor, ask for the price and the contract before you take any call.

I love the conversations they curate with small groups of peers in my profession. I also appreciate the introductions to vendors - startups to mature manufactures and service providers - that align with what I am looking for. For virtual conferences these are some of the best.

The 1-2-1 vendor meetings organised by Strategy Insights are an incredibly valuable part of the Online Marketing Insights Roundtables. The process is highly tailored, beginning with a detailed questionnaire to understand your specific goals and priorities, followed by a carefully selected shortlist of vendors shared ahead of the event. This ensures every discussion is relevant and worthwhile for both parties. It’s an excellent way to discover new services and solutions that could improve efficiencies and effectiveness within your business. Several of these initial conversations have led to further discussions as we explored potential opportunities to work together.

I've participated in many sessions over the last four years, sometimes as a facilitator and sometimes as a participant. The topics we discussed were always relevant, and the participants were highly motivated and engaged. I am looking forward to the upcoming sessions and to meeting new peers from various industries.

I’ve been attending Strategy Insights (the prior name for The Leadership Board for quite a few years. The events have consistently been of a high quality with good round table discussions between peers from a range of industry segments, with everyone providing interesting perspectives. The topics are well selected to be a range of current trends and longer term considerations. The approach of allowing delegates to nominate vendors they are interested in speaking to from a range of vendors who also express an interest in the delegates they are interested in meeting with, works well, ensuring that the vendor meetings are relevant and add value.

Based on the sessions I have attended through Strategy Insights, I have consistently found the content to be of high quality, well delivered, and valuable in building on my existing knowledge. The support provided by the team has been excellent. Overall, these sessions have made a meaningful contribution to my effectiveness in my day-to-day role.

It was my third time attending this event and I am incredibly impressed with the quality of discussions, profile of participants and the immaculate planning that goes behind the scenes to make things flow seamlessly on the day of the event. Kudos to the organizers for providing a platform for leaders such as myself and helping to connect with peers across the world. One suggestion could be to include calendar invites rather than agenda documents for this to make even more efficient
