Honestly can’t thank this company enough for our wedding photos. We received our full gallery yesterday after only 2 weeks of us getting married and the photos are absolutely amazing. To the extent it made me cry all over again just remembering how beautiful our special day was.

Mick was absolutely amazing and we just loved how excited he got over our venue and the time he took looking round our venue to find the most amazing spots to take our photos. We honestly can’t thank him enough. He went above and beyond that whole day just to make our pictures extra special and unique.

Couldn’t recommend you enough and I will be telling everyone I know who is getting married to use yourselves as their photographer.

Thomas and I were married on 25/09/2021 in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Our photographer was the lovely Mick and he just did the most fantastic job. We wanted candid photos almost all the way through and the moments that Mick captured are just beautiful. We had a rubbish situation with our accommodation and he assured us that there was nothing to worry about and he was right. Thank you for capturing our perfect day so wonderfully. All of our guests described Mick as the "Ninja" - the way he moves around the space is fascinating!

So, we won a voucher at the start of 2021 for £500 off our wedding photography - I had a look through the portfolios and loved the style of the photos and decided to go ahead.

Booking was easy and Jason was very friendly and helpful. The planning stages were simple too, they provide you with a detailed form to write out what shots you’re after and the timings of the day etc to ensure they capture everything you want. They also require you to bring a group shots list and nominate someone to help with arranging the group shots which is very good too and just helps with organisation.

We unfortunately had to change our venue and subsequently the date of our wedding due to covid -19. I noticed Jason, paid an administration charge of £90 to move the date and completed the documents as described above with our new venue details and timings. I confirmed we’d pay the remaining balance less the deposit And admin fee on the day in cash.

The day came, and I was expecting a photographer to arrive at 11 for the bridal prep. It got to 11:30 and no one had arrived. I started to worry and called Jason who said he would find out what was going on. Jason called me back just before 12 (on our wedding day) to confirm that there had been a mistake and they had our original date and venue booked in and therefore were not aware that the wedding was today. I explained that I’d paid the admin fee to move the date and had sent across the new details via email, I double checked and I had done all of this. Jason apologised and said he could get someone there but it would take a while as they were in London and us in Gloucestershire. The ceremony started at 13:30 and it was doubtful we’d have the photographer there for that. Meaning we’d miss the vital parts.

Luckily, I had booked another supplier for videography and there were two people that attended. One of them luckily was a photographer who had packed her cameras not expecting to use them. She stepped in last minute and was able to secure some of the bridal prep and save our day.

Jason apologised and refunded our money however being honest, if it wasn’t for our other supplier our day would have been ruined. The day is just that, and lasts for 24 hours - photos are what you’re left with and last forever. They’re snapshots of the memories and are what allows you to relive your day. We nearly didn’t have this and I can’t imagine how devastating that would have been. I’ve been blocked from commenting on their Facebook and they do not allow reviews on Facebook. My advice would be if you’re booking this company to call them 24 hours in advance and ensure that they are coming.

We honestly cannot thank you enough for our beautiful wedding photos and your exceptional service.

The lead up to our wedding was seamless with extremely detailed help and communication. Jason instantly replied to any messages or emails from me and nothing was a hassle.

On the day, Mick was absolutely amazing from the moment we met him, super friendly and just completely knew what he was doing and captured EVERY little moment. Our grandparents weren't physically able to attend our wedding (but did via a video call) and Mick noticed and unknown to us took photos of the phone with them on it so they could still be a part of our wedding and photos. This meant an awful lot to us.

From chasing the running toddlers around, to lying in the sand and building a platform from outdoor benches and chairs to capture a group photo. He went above and beyond!! He chatted with our guests and everyone loved him!

We are so so incredibly grateful he was our photographer. We will forever be recommending The Kensington photographer to everyone we know!!

We absolutely adore our wedding photos from Arnie at Kensington Photographer. They are beautiful and captured our wedding day perfectly!
We couldn't believe how quickly we received our online gallery, it came two weeks after our wedding day which we both were over the moon with. Now we have to try and work out which ones to select for our prints, we love them all.

Mick was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was a real gentlemen, not at all intrusive, and made us both feel so comfortable. He went above and beyond to get the best photos possible and we’re so pleased with the end result. We will cherish our photos for a lifetime.

We would definitely recommend the Kensington Photographer to anybody getting married. Mick was so organised and efficient- he worked quickly on the morning of our wedding to make sure we managed to get all of the shots we requested in our photography planner. He was great with our two young daughters who were flower girls which allowed him to get some great shots of them before the wedding. He went above and beyond during the day to make sure we had the most amazing pictures and made the most of the area around the venue. Whenever guests were taking their own photos Mick was right there every time to capture a professional one for them too. Numerous people have commented since on how fantastic our photographer was and how he didn’t stop all day. We were also sent a preview of our gorgeous photos on Christmas Day which made our Christmas- we absolutely loved them and we can’t wait to see the rest!

Wow, I'm so glad we went with The Kensington Photographer for our wedding! We had Mick join us on our day, he was so professional and had the eye to get the perfect shot. All day he was there at the right moments ready to capture our guests having a good time, the heart warming hugs, even the silly things like my dad helping me with my shoes. Mick even lay on the wet Autumn ground at one point to snap the perfect shot - so much dedication!

During the lead up to the day, the staff were super helpful and gave us advice on the best times for arrival and talked through the possibility for extending the time so we could make sure we had all the pictures we wanted!

We received our photo gallery exactly 2 weeks after our wedding date and oh my, all the photos are beautiful. Mick managed to capture the magic of our day and wow it was an emotional roller coaster looking through them and remembering our day and how it was real and we didn't dream it all! He got all the little details of decorations, even ones I hadn't seen on the day whilst swept up in excitement and emotion, I'm so glad I get to see those again and really appreciate the work our florist and venue designers did.

I just want to a say a massive thank you to Mick. He was unbelievable. So professional, friendly and extremely hardworking. He went above and beyond to help us get beautiful pictures. My guests came up to me throughout the day to say how impressed they were and how lovely he was. I cannot recommend you guys highly enough!! We had our wedding on December 9th 2021 and received our photos on Christmas eve-what a service! Thank you for capturing such precious memories.

We had Mick from the Kensington Photographer as the photographer for our wedding. Mick was friendly and professional for the whole day and delivered some truly stunning photos that we will treasure forever. He mystically appeared at each location and just got on with the job always giving suggestions for good shots but allowing us to show our personalities too. From the moment we booked Jason was amazing, so super friendly and helpful. We had Mick & Alex on our big day and they were wonderful, our pictures and videos are beyond perfect and are everything we wanted and more to capture all of our wonderful memories from our wedding day. We would recommend them to anyone- thank you both so much.

I would leave zero if I could. We have had to change our wedding due to COVID and our venue closing due to financial pressures etc so unable to get the date booked at another place! Totally out of our control.

Not only is there no leeway with our deposit they were slow to get back to me. If you book with them just be careful in case anything like this happens. We gave them enough time to find someone else and has left us out of pocket. In the climate at the moment there should be something that should have been done especially with nearly eight months notice when they’ll definitely fill the slot!!

Most of our other suppliers have been understanding either refunding the whole amount or some, and this is not totally true as it happened to my friend before me and got her photography deposit back. Word of mouth can have an impact on the wedding industry too. You said you were full 30th July 2023….so you extra busy if you can get Sunday slots booked that far in advance and on a sunday! This is not a situation we wanted to be in, and this world is not going to change any time soon so I’m sure will hope to other couples. You look very popular so I’m sure eight months is more than enough time to find someone

After winning a competition and seeing the reviews and final pictures I am so so happy I bit the bullet and and chose Jason and the TKP team.

Due to COVID there wasn't any face to face meeting but the initial phonecalls were great and he was always reachable. To say we didn't have any face to face meeting he chose the right the right person that fit our perfect day!

We had Mick to photograph our day and I would just like to say how perfect and easy he made everything! He gelled with the family so so well and was making everyone laugh and smile and he was awesome at directing us getting out best angles. He had a job on getting my husband to smile as he's just not the photograph type and we have some amazing pictures of him.

Above all of this, Mick actually went above and beyond for us to the point he was knocking on the venue neighbours doors to see if we could use some woodland and getting the best times for the sun set pictures.

All of our guests all complimented him and said he knew what he was doing and he was a great guy. They still talk about him now after the wedding.

When I received the pictures I have never been in such awe! He really knows how to capture the moment and those extra special moments! Also, he was really smartly dressed and fit in with the wedding guests so nobody even knew he was there!

Very professional and the photos look amazing!

From the first communication with Jason and right through to our special day and even to receiving our photographs. We cannot speak highly enough. Nothing has even been too much trouble, we feel like we were really listened to which is reflected in our photos that we have received. Mick was our photographer on our day, just wow!! He took the time to explore the hotel and their grounds, he captured simply the most beautiful photos. Memories that will last a lifetime, thank you so much!!

Emily was our photographer for our wedding she was so lovely and everyone commented on how lovely she was. Absolutely loved our pictures and the turnaround was very quick to get our pictures back.

Overall The Kensington Photographer has just provided the best wedding photography service. From initially winning the runners up prize for the Platinum package to Jason’s phenomenal response times to then Drew (our photographer), who was amazing. He was so friendly, he fit in with all of our guests, took the time for all our family shots and went the extra mile by staying longer to get more pictures in the evening.
We are so thrilled with how the photographs have come out, they are exactly what we wanted and then to have the lovely box with the prints and memory stick in is a very nice touch.

We had the absolute pleasure of Emily as our photographer. She was excellent in every way, her professionalism, mannerisms and just pure talented!
She listened to what we want and didn't want for example my teeth on my right is the better side. She helped with the little things like fixed my hair and made sure every detail in the photos were flawless.
Emily was so kind and understanding, I didn't want her to leave when haha.
My family aren't the easiest to 'tame' yet she was great to help gather everyone and speak to everyone politely.
Honestly though, the photos exceed their expectations. I love the wooden box that comes with it too! just so rustic and elegant.
I came across Kensington on FB and received a £500 off, it felt like it was too good to be true and I must admit I was anxious incase no one turned up however, no need to panic. the professionalism this company has is just spot on! oh and not to mention the 2 week turn around for my photos! ( I love telling everyone that).

I came across The Kensington Photographer on Facebook and loved the aesthetic their page had, the photos looked effortless and were stunning! I actually entered a competition they were running and won second prize, which was a £500 voucher off their wedding package which was a bonus! Up until the day, Jason was fab on the admin side, he answered all of my questions - and there was a lot - all in a timely manner. On the day we had Emily as our photographer, she was amazing, so professional and so kind! She helped lay out my dress, told people where they needed to be and was just amazing generally throughout the whole day. I hate my teeth and I'm very conscious of my appearance yet the photos Emily took were stunning and really highlighted the best parts about myself! She captured the mood of the day wonderfully and got lots of natural and candid moments which are lovely to look back on. Everyone who attended the wedding complimented Emily on how lovely she was and how beautiful the photos turned out! Would 100000% recommend The Kensington Photographer, you won't regret it!

The team at The Kensington Photographer are truly amazing! From start to finish Jason was fab! He was there to answer my million questions and reassured me through the entire process! Emily our photographer was absolutely amazing! She genuinely felt like a friend and part of the wedding immediately! She captured the most beautiful shots and made us all feel so at ease, we can’t thank her enough! We’ve recently received our gorgeous presentation box of 150 prints and USB stick and it is totally stunning, we hands down couldn’t ask for a better photographer and to top it all off we were lucky enough to win the runner up prize in one of the Kensington photographer’s face book giveaways!
