Great from start to finish bought my hymer.

Have emailed this company twice with camper details -no acknowledgment and no reply on both occasions. Maybe this is the low bar of customer service potential customers should beware of.

The contractors who came to assess our camper were intent on showing that it was very damp in odd places, none detected where it might be expected. A chat with our local Swift agent who does our habitation check revealed that the meter also detects metal, plastics and wiring looms. When I pointed this out, they started to make extremely minor things into big issues. They called the office and came back with Ann unacceptably low offer” had to report what they had seen”. However, their report was not shared with is. A chat with their office contact resulted in a better offer I had already made them aware of issues we knew about, and the likely cost of fixing them
No issues with the office people, but folk should be aware that the contractors will try to persuade sellers that there are big issues when really they are non existent or of very little consequence. Improvements we has made internally were rubbished
Interestingly, they didn’t look at the roof, the gas locker or underneath
Reports should be shared and agreed with sellers before submitting to the office so there is transparency. That could reduce the number of 1 and2 star reviews

All very straightforward and professional people.
Price agreed, arrived exactly as they said, funds all transferred and completed , first class service all round

I was very cautious about selling to a buying company but they went out of their way to accommodate me when the initial collection driver had an issue.
The assessor was polite and friendly and I was happy with what I was paid. Thanks!

No nonsense, offered a quote accepted the quote driver came and picked it up money was in account. As straightforward as it gets.

Note: I cancelled collection with very short notice, they handled with professionalism and courtesy. Nothing changed we just arranged a new date and they proceeded as normal.

Van was described exactly to them with as many photos as possible to ensure price didn’t change on the day (common sense)

The guys were over everything about the caravan checking all but they were very honest about how they conducted their business. They kept me relaxed during the purchase, money paid into my bank no problem.

The business model is:
Provide a fair quote.
The would-be vendor accepts.
The "assessor" (a contractor, by his own word, probably commission -only based on how much he can make by cutting price) offers half this on the basis of nothing apart from standard issues with any older vehicle which were inevitably known when original offer was made).
Should the putative vendor weakly (or in desperation) accept, bullseye.
Should he, as in my case, push back angrily, the "best offer possible" is miraculously raised (after a fake communication with the "boss")
The nice corporate image collapses and the greedy scam appears.
I speculate that the positive reviews are probably false as anyone can add one whether service has been used or not.

Avoid at all costs. Use a decent auction service.

From initial contact I was updated at every state of selling my motor home.
On collecting a quick 5 minutes inspection of vehicle and money agreed was immediately transferred into my account.
It was a very easy transaction from start to finish to sell my motor home.

For a lot less than the asking price saying it needed work. They took it away and we got a penalty fine for their driving 4 days later. Then we got a further 2 tickets the following month. DVLA have only just sent the acknowledgment back . Can’t get it touch with them at all. Emails bouncing back . Calls not answered post not replied to . They need to pay . EVEN THOUGH THE COMPANY HAD REPLIED I CANT GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM.

Our experience was initially very good,. We aapplied and sent 5 videos, 53 photos and recieved a quote from The Liesure Buyer, which was a fair price, alittle under the value, but to be fair these firms do have to make money and take the risk, so we expected the price to be on the low side, but happy with the quote. We were then contacted by a male who would come along and do an inspection and report back to the office. The communication with Mark, the male, was excellent and on meeting him he was very professional and polite. Mark did the inspection there were a couple of bits he picked up but nothing that ruined the motorhome as it was fairly old but in good condition. Head office then replied back with a counter offer that almost split the oridginal offer in half! Now I was expecting the oridginal offer to be withdrawn and a counter offer given as this is how they operate, which is the way of the world, but be prepared to have your oridginal offer withdrawn, i did come back with a counter offer and it was excepted, which shows you have alittle wiggle room. My experience was smooth , good communication, no hassle, money paid immediately before the motorhome was driven away, but don't expect your oridginal offer to be paid, it is a good service to sell if you don't want the hassle and time of selling it yourself, but be prepared to take a good hit from the oridginal offer they make. This is not a complaint its my experience, I also realise i didn't have to accept the offer, so it was my choice, hope people find this a fair and honest review.

One star because 0 not an option.Pretty much same experience as other sellers. They were quick to make an offer on my motorhome then when I accepted the offer ‘Rachel’ emailed to say they had made a mistake with their offer.

At best = completely unprofessional

I contacted this company to sell my VW Camper. They were quick to respond and after viewing the photographs made me an offer. Bit below what I was hoping for but I accepted it. Got various messages from Rachael explaing the process for collection etc. Chased them up over next few days but no response. Now a week later still heard nothing at all. No replies to emails, voice message or whars app.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY

Following my trust pilot view the company have contacted me and told me they will now respond by of email to resolve the issue. Will wait and see if that now happens. Other reviewers have had similar replies but actually nothing happened.

WELL ANOTHER 20 HOURS HAS PASSED

Since the reply from this company stating they would email me direct to resolves the issues I have heard nothing at all by any means of communication.It is a shame because going by the positive reviews they appear to offer a good service, but not in my case.

The company did eventually contact me and apologised for the service I had received, blaming it on technical faults and communication. Email, SMS , Whats app and Phone . I can understand issues maybe with one of these but all of them very unlikeky.
The bottom line though is they did not come and view my campervan or buy it from me for the agreed price. So as per my opening line in this review "DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY"

quick valuation which I accepted. It was then withdrawn as the motorhome was LHD, as stated on my application. the website states all & any motorhomes accepted, including LHD.

very poor communication, zero contact or explanation on email or WhatsApp after the withdrawal

Made a phone call about my motorhome on Friday, had a provisional sum sent to me within the hour. Mark came round the next day, Motorhome was checked over and it was gone within the hour.
Very easy and stress free process. I’d definitely recommend, no hassle at all.
