It was my first time with this firm and I was used to remortage with my local mortgage advisors. My friend recommended me this firm and I was pleased to deal with Rebecca & Samantha during the process. They are knowledgeable and were extremely helpful throughout the process. I had tough time with the solicitors appointed by the bank during the process but Rebecca helped me navigate through the deadlock situation by joining the call with the solicitors to drive the matter forward.

Well the time is here we get our keys today.its been a roller coaster ride and what can we say Tim at genie lending as been amazing he been there each step we have needed. We cant thank him enough. Buying a house has been a brand new experience for my Partner and I and as first time buyers, and at times, it has been extremely long and stressful. The Mortgage Genie have been brilliant for us during the process and have been helpful and professional throughout the journey. It was the Mortgage Genie who helped us feel at ease, and who reassured us, helping us make the best financial decisions and getting us the best package for our house. Our solicitors were very unhelpful, pushy and it felt like they didn't have our best interests at heart. However the Mortgage Genie have always been professional, reassuring and even once the deal has been finalized, it was the Mortgage Genie who took the time away to go through the final statement and explain the financial breakdown, while the solicitors (Talbots Law) were unwilling to do this.
I would highly recommend The Mortgage Genie to anyone who is looking for a mortgage.

Fantastic service. Right from the first point of contact we were really well looked after and made to feel like nothing was too much trouble.
After hearing some horror stories about other mortgage brokers taking up to a week to issue an MIP and missing out on properties because of it, we were thrilled that ours was issued within hours by Mortgage Genie.

Jake worked exceptionally hard for us and we felt like his sole focus whilst working on our case. He issued our MIP and helped us find a solicitor (who was great too). He also took us through insurance possibilities and explained the pros and cons of having different types of cover for different things. We never felt pressured to take out policies at any stage. So much so, that we realised at exchange that we had forgotten to take out the buildings insurance recommended! Luckily Sam, Jake, and Josh sorted this out for us within a few minutes and it didn’t delay our exchange.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for better service and would like to single out Jake, Josh, and Samantha for their help. They’ve made the whole process of buying a house so much easier for us.

Will has been AMAZING so far! Was recommended to me by a colleague and whilst I was nervous using a broker I hadn’t heard of, it’s been first class. Within a few days a mortgage in principle signed off and all documents sorted. Basically just waiting for the house keys now! Will check back again and update when the process is complete but so far, top class service. Highly efficient and almost instantaneous responses to emails. Well done Will!

Where do I start!

Great experience with Josh at the Mortgage Genie and would recommend to anyone. Josh was excellent. Very organised, helpful and made the process easy, being very clear on what was required. Josh was always very quick to respond to queries and offered extra advise to ensure I was happy with the offer before proceeding. Made the buying process very easy and took a lot of pressure off.
