Frustrated and without resolution yet
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with The Perfect Nursery Company has been incredibly frustrating from start to finish.
The item I received was incomplete and cannot be used as intended. I immediately contacted the company to try and resolve the issue, expecting either the missing parts to be sent out or a refund to be arranged. Unfortunately, despite sending multiple emails over a period of time, I have received absolutely no response.
The most disappointing part has not just been the faulty order, but the complete lack of customer service. Being ignored after spending a significant amount of money is unacceptable. As a customer, you expect a company to take responsibility when something goes wrong. Instead, I’ve been left with an unusable product and no way of resolving the issue directly with the retailer.
I have now had to explore raising a dispute through my credit card provider because the company has failed to engage with me or offer any assistance.
I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this company to think carefully. If everything goes perfectly, you may have no issues. But if something arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, my experience suggests you may struggle to get any response at all.
Extremely disappointing.
Very disappointed - Avoid.
We ordered a cot, mattress and drawers for our nursery on 22/03/26, with an advertised lead time of 2–4 weeks. After 4 weeks with no update, we chased the order and were told the shipment was arriving into the country.
We then received a delivery notification for 27/04/26, only to discover it was just the mattress. No communication was provided to advise this would be a partial delivery. After chasing again, we were told the cot and drawers were still coming from Belgium.
A further delivery was arranged for 07/05/26, but the courier informed us the items had been missed off the van. The courier company were helpful and rearranged delivery for 11/05/26.
Unfortunately, when the driver arrived, only 2 of the 4 boxes were delivered — the drawers arrived, but the cot was missing entirely. The courier company were again apologetic and helpful, but could not locate the missing parcels.
TPNC’s service throughout has been extremely poor. Communication has been almost non-existent, there is no contact number available, and we have had to chase every update ourselves via email. Delays can happen, but the lack of organisation, transparency and customer service has been unacceptable.
I only wish I had read the reviews beforehand, as I would have avoided this company entirely. At this point, who knows if the cot will ever turn up.

I brought this mini cot to use for my…
I brought this mini cot to use for my granddaughter but she won’t sleep in it. The cot itself has a very strange odour coming from the wood smells like gas. Thought it might go after couple of days but it still lingering. I would not recommend this cot.
I was not aware of the odour until I opened the box and assembled it. Thought it would go eventually. I did try and cancel this order before it even arrived and was told it was on its way and would cost me £40 to return. Which I did not realise until I checked the returns policy. I was not happy to have to loose that amount of money so I decided to just keep it. I just wanted to make you aware of this issue that I had but I see from your response no one has had this problem before.

No updates or communication
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience ordering a bed from this company. The delivery did not arrive and what’s worse is that there was absolutely no communication about the delay.
I received no updates, no tracking information, and no explanation. I’ve tried reaching out multiple times via email, but have not received a single response. It feels like once they took my money, customer service completely disappeared.
This level of service is unacceptable, especially for something as important as a bed. I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from this company.

Very poor experience I’d avoid.
I waited four weeks for my order with absolutely no updates or communication from the company. As I hadn’t ordered from them before, I became increasingly concerned and reached out for an update.
Despite sending multiple emails and messages via their website form and Facebook (they provide no phone number), I received no response at all.
Only after I left a review on Trustpilot, because I was genuinely worried I had been scammed, did the company finally respond. Instead of addressing the situation properly, they had my review removed and then emailed to say that part of my order was out of stock until the end of May due to delays. They also stated they would be refunding me because they already had a large backlog of orders to fulfil, even though I placed mine at the beginning of March.
What’s most frustrating is that I was given no choice in the matter. The order was simply cancelled and refunded without any prior communication or option to wait.
A complete lack of transparency and customer care from start to finish. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

The bag is very good
The bag is very good. Big and fitting perfectly, however the hooks that I got with it is very poor quality. One of them broke during installation and the other 3 broke the following 2-3 days so I had to buy them myself. I definitely recommend it because the bag worth the price.

Ordered a rain cover for my infant…
Ordered a rain cover for my infant carrier for when I attach it onto the pram, item was as described, brilliant quality and came very quick! Very impressed.
Trustworthy company
I ordered a small childs bed with mattress, I am happy with the quality and it was delivered within the quoted time frame.
The frame takes around 1 hour to construct and is very simple to do.
The mattress which was the most basic option is suitable for young children only, if you intend this as a guest bed you will definitely require a thicker mattress.
I wanted to contact The Perfect Nursery Company and found there is no telephone number, it is email only, and found they were a little slow in replying to my email.
But overall I am happy, they use another company for their deliveries who were exceptionally good.

I pre-ordered a cot unit that was due for delivery at the end of January. Unfortunately, the communication has been extremely poor. I had to send three emails over three days just to get a response to a very simple question about when delivery would take place.
I consider myself fair and balanced when leaving reviews, but the lack of communication genuinely made me start to worry whether I had been scammed. I was also promised responses “the next morning” on more than one occasion, which didn’t happen.
Delays can happen and I completely understand that — but clear, timely communication is essential, especially for pre-ordered items. Sadly, that has not been my experience so far.
Still awaiting an answer nearly 2 weeks later.

No items and no update or response from Customer Support
I ordered bunk beds and an underbed storage drawer from the Perfect Nursery Company on December 26th. At the time of ordering, it said to allow 2-4 weeks for shipping. Last Friday (Jan 23rd) was 4 weeks. In the past week I have sent 2 emails to customer support asking for an update but have received no response. There is no phone number provided to speak with a real person. We have family coming over from the states next week and we now have nowhere for them to sleep and no idea if our beds will arrive in time. I would not recommend this company based on their lack of transparency around orders and poor communication/customer support.
