Daniel is awesome!! He took his time to thoroughly explain the issues that I was having and how to fix it. This is the second time working with Daniel and he has been extremely helpful both times.

Trouble recording sessions resolved

I had trouble recording sessions. Daniel was very patient and walked me through the steps to make sure I was doing it right and he found the step I'd missed. He helped me practice a real time recording, made sure it worked, we reviewed it, and then gave me some extra advice. I just upped my tech IQ - thanks so much Daniel.

Terrible if being used for billing purposes

I was attempting to use this platform for billing. The effort to set it up was so arduous that we decided to give it up completely and go with another service provider, despite having paid for a year in advance. There were numerous attempts to obtain help but the answers received did not solve anything and, more often than not, did not even address the issue being inquired about. I will say my practitioner did mention that the EHR portion was decent enough to use but it did not make it worth the immense amount of effort that was going into setting up the billing through their outside clearinghouse. That is another thing worth mentioning. Theraplatform does not have their own clearinghouse. They charge you to go through the free platform, Availity. I believe this convoluted path to get your claims submitted is the largest contributor to the difficulties experienced trying to set this up.

Constantly has technical issues and the…

Constantly has technical issues and the materials are super outdated and horribly illustrated. The TV is one with bunny ears and the cellphone looks like a Nokia. It all looks like 90s edition clipart. The videos are tiny in the corner when you finally activate a game and nothing loads in sync, if it decides to load at all.

Hi Erin, Thank you for your feedback! Please contact us directly re; the pictures you described. Our photos were selected in 2011 and we updated them as needed. We'll be happy to look into the ones you mentioned. In terms of the video size- you can adjust the layout of the video so they are a bit bigger. By nature if you pull resources or use whiteboard during video call the video will become smaller as on any video conferencing platform. I will ask our support to reach out to you directly to give you a few extra tips for internet connection as syncing relays on the speed and the quality of the internet connection of both parties.

Remote access with screen sharing finally fixed!

After struggling with the screen sharing app for two weeks and emailing Daniel we finally got a chance to screen share together and he figured out the problem. Thank you Daniel for your patience as well and for solving the problems with screen sharing and remote control for my clients!

Thank you for great customer service

I have been so appreciative and impressed by the quick responses to my questions. I am starting to learn about additional resources and ways to use TheraPlatform to work with my clients. I ask a lot of questions and the responses have been prompt, helpful. Most of all I have never felt as though I have asked a foolish question.
Thank you! p.s. I'm not quite sure how to rate the experience the numbers just pop up. I'm hoping that the 5 is a high score. I could not go any higher.

I've truly enjoyed working in…

I've truly enjoyed working in TheraPlatform. It's allowed me to continue to provide treatment to my clients. I've had very few problems with the platform, and even then, they were resolved so quickly and professionally. Thank you!

Great, affordable service

Theraplatform has a lot of bells and whistles for the price, which is great! Occasionally I do experience connectivity issues but overall it's been functional on my end AND the parents' ends.

I am a sole mental health practitioner…

I am a sole mental health practitioner specializing in medical and rehabilitation psychotherapy seeing through TheraPlatform patients in the United States England and Israel from my home in Israel. I'm pleased with all aspects of TheraPlatform: its ease of use, multiple features such as scheduling and billing, and especially technical support. New challenges occasionally arise beyond my technical skill level, or glitches, and they are readily and effectively addressed by technical support in a supportive, friendly and effective manner. Most importantly, my patients are pleased! It's easy for them to access and use.

Everything is working as advertised

Everything is working as advertised. Every once in a while there is a glitch in one of the internal apps but it usually works itself out. I would like to see the option to add apps to theraplatform. That would make it really great but I am not sure that can happen. Otherwise, I love the app!!

Great for early intervention and school-age populations.

We are a speech therapy and early intervention company. We have used TheraPlatform for the past 2 years with our private practice! We especially have liked the apps and games to play with our older clients. On the administrative side, the automatic email invite feature when scheduling clients and making changes to appointments has been very convenient. It's simple to onboard clients and therapists when you need to add people in either category. Parents of clients have also let us know that they appreciate the email reminders. Their help desk has been responsive within 24 hours of questions or concerns, and their FAQ/Tutorial pages are also very helpful. Thank you TheraPlatform for this great service!

TheraPlatform is Just AWESOME!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and am grateful for having TheraPlatform as my Practice's Management Software. I have had it for over a year and am VERY SATISFIED.
TheraPlatform is easy to use. Its several different features, including but limited to tele-health, claims submission, hundreds of different types of forms, therapeutic games and a lot more offer both me and my clients opportunities to engage in therapy creatively and professionally. I absolutely love Theraplatform

I absolutely love Theraplatform. I love how interactive it is and the built in apps/games for my students. It keeps them very engaged and willing to do work.

After only a few months I'm done!

We have only been on Theraplatform for a few months and we are leaving. We have had numerous credit card denials (but that same card worked on our previous systems). Their internal system doesn't always communicate properly. When checking completed sessions, missed sessions, or even paid sessions they don't always show up, so I have to go to the Credit Card processor to see who has paid and who still owes money (and some times to see if they even had a session).
The chat support, and clearly the people that respond to these comments, always blame the credit card processor or the internet connection or some outside process instead of really digging into their system.
I tried their email and chat support, but it never seemed to be an issue that was related to them, so we are leaving.
Update #1This is a perfect example, Theraplatform has at least 7 emails from me, using this email address and they claim I'm not in the system!

I disagree with your statements on many levels. First, the credit card denials happened with several clients/several credit cards, over several days, with different therapists and secondly, you never mentioned insufficient funds, so I find it interesting that you added that for your response.
As for permissions, I find this answer very interesting. Let's just say for this discussion that I didn't have the right level of access, which I did, but OK. My wife, the main therapist, and the one that created the account and had full access to everything had the same issues!
Look, at the end of the day, I hope everyone has great success with your platform and I wish you all the very best. But it didn't work for us and your fixes didn't solve the problems or we wouldn't be leaving.

I am sorry but I am not able to find you in our system or support with the name/email you provided here on Trustpilot. I contacted Trustpilot. They will email you directly to obtain your full name and hopefully we can connect the dots.

Update: Thank you for responding to Trustpilot's request about providing the email and your full name. I was able to find your communication from our support. We informed you that the card was declined by the bank and provided you with the screenshots from the processing company with a message from the bank that the card did not have sufficient founds. The screenshot #3 next to the icon of the bank showed that- " Payment declined by customer's bank
The bank returned the decline code insufficient_funds. Learn more about declines.
Aug 8, 2020, 2:11 PM". We will resend our response with the screenshots again.

We also noted that there are multiple declines on multiple clients but the above was just an example of one of the reasons that the card was declined. We also provided instructions on how you can review all declines and reasons on the credit card processing company's website.

We recommended that your client calls the bank. If the bank declines the card there is nothing TheraPlatform can do. You also noted in your communication with us that you directly contacted the credit card processing company and they also noted that the card was declined by the bank and that the client should call the bank.

In terms of the history of sessions - this function was not available on our platform to the biller (which was your role) but since you informed us that this would be important for the biller, our development made it available for billers as well just a few days after your initial email about it. We will reach out to you directly about the noted three dots directly on our support to resolve it.

Please know that we do dig deeper when a customer contacts us about the problem. We have testers who try to duplicate the problem and we escalate tickets to our development team if there is a problem.

I highly recommend Theraplatform

I highly recommend Theraplatform. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic my practice had to quickly shift gears and move to virtual therapy. Theraplatform has made this transition so easy. Their built in therapy materials are varied for different clients and well organized.

More than Hhelpful
