Short dates
Some of my purchases (4 small packs out of 10) were with short expired dates (at least one product was less than 4 months expired date, one was without the label date at all, others just with 6months consuming time). When I’ve reached out customer support, they refuse sending return post labels to exchange these packs.

Thank you for your feedback. We always want to ensure our customers are happy with their purchases.
To clarify regarding our best-before dates, we do not ship any teas with less than a 6 month best before date, which we believe is more than enough to enjoy a 50g pack of tea. We also previously apologised for the oversight regarding the tea sent without a label and provided you with its correct best-before date.
Regarding returns, per our company policy, prepaid returns labels are reserved for items that arrive faulty or damaged. However, we did confirm that you are welcome to return the teas to us, and we would be more than happy to exchange them for packs with longer dates.
We would love to help you get this resolved, but we have not yet received a response to our last message. If you would still like to proceed with an exchange, please reach out to us directly at sales@theteamakers.co.uk so we can assist you further.

The quality of the teas is excellent
The quality of the teas is excellent. I have tried their loose tea and their teabags. It's good to know that the teabags are not bleached. And biogradeable. And are ideal for any occasion. My Son will not have any other teabag in his lunch flask. Our favourite tea is peppermint hibiscus bora bora. There is something for everyone.

The supposedly good quality Assam tea…
The supposedly good quality Assam tea wasn’t that good. The Assam tea produces unpleasant tannin and good quality black tea leaves don’t. Disappointed and it was not worth a tenner for 50g. This has put the company at a reputational risk for me and I’m not sure if I would ever purchase teas from them again.

We completely understand your concerns. As fully oxidised teas, Assam teas are naturally known to be particularly high in tannins, which can sometimes produce a stronger or more astringent taste profile if the characteristics aren't what you typically enjoy. However, to help mellow this out and reduce the tannin levels, we recommend steeping the tea for a shorter duration during your next brew.

Perfect tea

Interesting Leaf teas
Easy to order and good delivery.
Both the English breakfast and the Earl Grey are just how a tea should taste. I will be ordering again. Have yet to try the peppermint you sent for me to try... will be interesting to see what the flavour is like .

The tea quality was quite poor, with a dull, flat flavour and virtually no qi. It fell well short of the high expectations one would have for a modern Tie Guan Yin, lacking both vibrancy and depth.
