Lackluster dental care
I have been suffering from an implant that has become infected, and the appointment with my dentist is not until the middle of next week. I went through my insurance member portal, and noted that I had a dental emergency. I booked an appointment with a dentist for midday, and, finally, when I had my teleappointment, the dentist said she would send in prescriptions for an antibiotic and ibuprofen, to get me through until my dentist appointment. I gave it about an hour before I called my pharmacy to see if the prescriptions had been called in, and they had not. I tried to go through teledentistry again, but the second dentist did not even bother to get on the teleappointment. I will just need to go through this pain without any help thanks to the lack of care of these "professionals" who have agreed to be available to patients in an emergency.
