Three Peaks Challenge Opiniões 

I cannot rate the team who ran the three peaks challenge from 6 to 7 July 2024 enough! From start to finish they had our safety in mind, communicating with us clearly on what to expect and ensuring we managed our energy levels. Whilst keeping morale up and making us laugh along the way! From the drivers, the water bottle fillers, those powering ahead and those bringing up the rear, they were all just fantastic. I'm in awe of their skills! Thanks for making a memory of a lifetime 🙏🏻🙂 (the prosecco at the end was very much welcomed too 😂). Vic xx

I’m fairly sure had I tried to do this challenge alone I would not have completed in under 12 hours. Martin our guide pushed us hard at the start, which on reflection was needed. The organisation of the various guides meant our group could carry on with slower or faster paced people able to join supporting groups. It felt well organised, with refreshments, water stops and guides who did the necessary to keep you safe and get you over the line. Martin was exceptional. Efficient, friendly and supportive in just the right way. An asset to the company.

Very well organised event everyone was very helpful. Martin was our team leader and he pushed us when needed gave us lots of encouragement and had the best trail mix. He made this experience for me + the other members of our team. Without his pace we would not have completed the challenge in the time we did. Thank you Martin!

Taking on the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours was an experience beyond my wildest imagination. Both physically and mentally demanding, it pushed me to my limits in ways I never anticipated. This is a memory I will carry with me forever.

I enjoyed the challenge far more than I ever thought possible. The mountains gave back so much more than I expected, offering not just a test of endurance but also a profound sense of peace and achievement. The satisfaction of reaching each peak was immensely rewarding.

The Three Peaks Challenge team was incredible, supporting us from start to finish. They ensured our safety and provided the encouragement we needed at every step. Their dedication and support were key to my success, and I am deeply grateful for their assistance.

I could never have completed this challenge without them. This experience was not just about physical endurance, but also about mental resilience. I feel an immense sense of pride and gratitude for the support that made this incredible journey possible.

Wow! What can I say. Flawless event from start to finish and amazing support from the Three Peaks Team. Fantastic communication before the event and happy with us making last minute changes to the team. Nothing was too much trouble. Steve and Nick were really accommodating. Loads of food and snacks. Great mountain leaders who were knowledgable and helpful and had lots of patience. Modern comfy bus and a separate trailer for all the food and extra storage. Banging home made soup too!

The company cancelled with less than 30 days notice and following signing participant forms, sending out itinerary and disclosures. Short email and refund sent before getting a chance to rearrange to another date. Flights, hotels and transfers all arrange so we’ve lost out on quite a lot of money. Beyond disappointed.

Great experience and definitely a challenge! I went on my own but never felt this throughout the 24 hours, all the staff were friendly helpful and super encouraging, and I met a fantastic group of people. Dean was the leader for the group I was in and he was brilliant, he set a great pace that meant we achieved the goal of under 24 hours whilst having a laugh with us all and ensuring we were safe, hydrated and warm enough. Would recommend this company but don’t underestimate how hard it is with basically no sleep and weather conditions you can’t predict. Also expect to be pushed with no faffing as that doesn’t achieve the goal !

As a large national company we were looking to create our first ever companywide event to raise money for our chosen charity.
It was decided that we would look to do the national three peaks challenge.

We contacted various companies who offer to accommodate private groups but after speaking to Steve, we knew that Three Peaks Challenge Ltd were the right fit for what we had in mind.

From the initial call with Steve right through to the event itself, we knew we were in experienced hands.

Steve and the team were always on hand to provide support both prior to the event and during the event, nothing was too much of an ask.

Having read the other reviews the experience is either 5 or 1 star based on the guides you get. The organisation was ok the drivers and staff pleasant.
However our lead guide had no interest in getting as many over line as possible only to archive his own ambitions and show off to the younger customers how fit he was.
Having completed Ben Nevis and Scafeld Pike no problem he announced at Snowdon he was taking the 6 people who finished first on the other 2 peaks and the other customers stay with the 2nd guide which included a 75 year man and someone who had already not made it to the peak on Scarfeld Pike.
The lead guide completed this in 3 hr 15 and the rest of us did not make it as having to wait for the slowest.
Had the guide set the 4 hour required pace at least 3 more of his paying customers would have completed the challenge.
Had i not made it due to weather conditions, fitness, injury fair enough but this was purely down to the guide not giving a toss about his paying customers.
So ignore the 1 star reviews at your peril if you are serious about completing this challenge with this company.

Excellent service - order received earlier than expected.

This was a fantastic experience but hard!
The guide we had James was absolutely fantastic. The only thing is don't understand why there is not a medel provided in the price as its a big achievement and an extra £7 on top for a medel is a bit harsh as we payed £75 for the challenge.

Easy to order, quick delivery and excellent product

Fantastic day! Guides and organisation was superb (especially Joe) - I walked with my son and we met some amazing people. The hardest day of my life but so wonderful - train hard and you will be rewarded. Guides encouraged us all along the way and gave great tips. Awesome experience.

This was a great experience! John (our guide) was fantastic! He was supportive, positive, professional, and kept us on track so that we could meet the check points on time. The whole day was organised well. I would highly recommend the company.

Just a review to make others aware.

I recently attempted to complete this challenge with a very large group of 20 participants. Unfortunately I was not able to reach the first peak of Ben Nevis and if I’m being completely honest, I feel absolutely devastated and cheated.

Of course we knew that there would naturally be slower participants of our group. Had I of know that the MLs could only take 10 members at a time I would have made sure I was within those 10 as the natural split happened. It’s likely due to my stubbornness and determination I would have bled through boots to do it. Myself and 2 other participants were told to wait for the slower group to catch up as we could not go further with him due to there being too many. We waited for at least 15 minutes before they caught up. Time that could have been used continuing our climb. We were then told by the 2nd mountain leader that we would not reach the cut off time to reach and then descend the peak due to the pace of the now second group we had to wait for. Still determined to reach the top the other 2 and myself picked up the pace but was continuously asked to stop and wait. I eventually went off alone becoming too frustrated. I then passed the tail walker of the first group and continued the climb alone to then be met with the first ML who told me to turn back around. This was 115 meters away from the peak. About half an hour to 40 minutes. I was stopped and asked to wait for more than this time in total.

I didn’t complete this challenge because I was unfit or not physically able to. I didn’t complete it become i was asked to continuously wait. I wish we would have ignored instruction and continued alone. This also tainted the rest of my experience as the challenge is ‘the 3 peaks’. Through no fault of my own I had already failed.

I feel if they had an additional ML for such a large group then my story would be different and I wouldn’t have shelled out almost £1k on travel, equipment and accommodation for no reason.

The buses are also very small. Not much room to anything other than sitting making sleeping quite hard. The MLs take up the first 2 seats.

Positives - the driver made some banging soup and porridge, there were plenty of snacks for you to help yourself to and they were very chatty and friendly. But don’t take too long on toilet stops or get yourself a coffee. Ultimately they just want to get home and get a little frustrated with having to wait for you.

All the above said, 4/5 out of the 20 completed the 3 peaks. 3 of those within the 24 hours.

Ignore the one star reviews, these guys know what they are doing. If you are looking to complete this challenge in the time these guys will get it done. But don't think it's a walk in the park. This is a brutal experience that even the fittest will struggle with. But the guides are top notch and they will ensure the people able to get all 3 done in 24hrs will be given the chance. This does mean there are heartbreaking moments. In our group of 20 only 10 made the first summit in time, the rest had to be turned back half way up. One lass, bless her soul, was only 10min from the top of Ben Nevis as we were descending and was turned around. Another guy got turned half an hour from the top of Scarfell Pike, again, only 10min behind the front runners.
But all these turn backs allowed the swiftest to power on. Even then, at the end, our pace was a little off, but on the final descent, they sent another guide half way up to meet the front runners and encouraged them, literally to run the last 2km. 2 of us passed the final check point with less than 4min to spare. Which we wouldn't have had if they had let the others summit when they were turned back. Please trust me, this is an amazing experience, and if you have what it takes these guys will get you past the finish line. However if you're looking for the experiencing of climbing the three peaks and enjoying the views, this is probably not for you.

Poor event I felt. Did this with 20 people in a group and summited Ben Nevis and returned within the 5 hours. The second slow group they did not turn around in time and we waited over an hour for them to return. The drivers told us that scafell needs to be done in 2 and a half hours now and not 4 so only the strongest can go up. 7 of us attempted this so 13 of us dropped out. I was with the 7 and was the slower of that group but was on time to complete this 4 hour mountain in 3 hours 10 minutes. I got 0.5 miles from the summit and the guide told me I had to leave the group and turn around as I was not fast enough. After a debate that I was 0.5 miles away and 1 hour quicker than the recommended time I had to turn back which was heart breaking and descend the mountain alone. We got to Snowden and we had to do that in less than 3 hours so the guide chose 6 people and told 2 of us that were ready to try we were not to go up with them and get back on the bus. My advice would be I would have done this event with atleast an hour to spare but the poor timings and messing about around the van cost me the £500 experience of hitting 2 mountain peaks. The 2 of us that went up the llanberis path at quite a speed were told to turn around at the half way house, which again was a debate as we would have made it up and down over by the official time by 1 hour but would have smashed personal time. These guys don’t want to know and want you at Chester train station asap to throw your bags on the kerb and be gone. A shame I could not complete this because 1 team member took just more than 1 hour longer to get off Ben Nevis than the rest of us because of an injury that they would not account for was not great at all.
