Great eye shadow but website stinks
There cosmetics are the absolute best but after purchasing them once on Thrive, I can no longer do that because their website makes it impossible. I've notified them about the problem but to no avail. I have to get them on eBay now. Very frustrating. There eye shadows are the best I've ever used so please Thrive, get your act together and fix your website.

Nice alternative—not my everyday makeup
I spent about $150 for Primer, Concealer, Blendable Blur Cream, and a Triple Threat color stick. At first I was thrilled—like over the moon happy that everything I need was in 4 small compact cases. Well it’s a good thing they are small and portable because you gotta take them with you to refresh!
I hate having to put on makeup in the morning so 2 or 3 times, no thanks. I don’t use it much anymore but I do travel with this make up.

I really wanted to give these products…
I really wanted to give these products a better rating. I purchased the shadow sticks, eyeliner and mascara and took them on vacation. They were very convenient as they don't take up a lot of room. The product colour is great, shadows are easy to apply and blend, the eyeliner is great and the mascara goes on very well. Eyeliner and mascara were my fav.
I would have continued to by these products however, the shadow stick I purchased came broken off (this was replaced immediately) and I thought this was just a one off but the eyeliner and shadow sticks just continued to break off. The eyeliner is almost impossible to sharpen as well. Sadly, most of the shadow and liner were unable to be used. I would continue to buy the mascara but shipping makes it quite expensive. Fingers crossed that these issues get resolved.

Used to loved but has formula changed?
I have always loved the mascara until now. Has the formula changed?? It used to come off so easily at the end of the day and now it’s a nightmare to get off and irritates my eyes so badly that they swell up every time I use it.

This company never rewards return customers, their products are extremely costly and they never offer any significant discounts. They are greedy and have no interest in rewarding their customers!!!

I have only given 1 star as no stars were an option. I ordered a mascara on 31st March accepting it would take 6-11 days to be delivered. I emailed company when I didn’t receive my order in this time only to be told there was a delay of up to 1week. Today I was told it would be delivered. It was but to the completely wrong address and nowhere near where I live!!! Avoid this company

Has the formula changed ? I spent $75 on one for me and my daughter as we LOVED it last time we purchased it a couple of years ago. This time there os a huge difference. There is not one single fiber in the tubes. You can barely tel we have on mascara. We are very disappointed!

We would like to clarify that our Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara is not a fiber mascara, but a tubing mascara that wraps each lash in a tube that extends the lash. We are always here to help if you aren't 100% satisfied with your products.
Scratched Cornea
I would love to attach the picture I just took of my scratched cornea! Those particles that come off in big pieces when you wash you face can EASILY get in your eye! This is the SECOND time I had this happen. I want my money back.

Wanted to love the mascara
Ugh the mascara. Goes on beautifully, but it's all downhill after that. Irritates the eyes, and as the day wears on, it starts disintegrating and leaves a mess under your eyes. And then there's removal time. It comes out in chunks and makes a mess. Also looks like lashes are coming out with it. Disappointing. Went back to my old hypoallergenic standby with three days.

Would give zero if it would let me! Customer shipping and Thrives shipping is a JOKE!!! Ordered on 9-11 and on 9/21 my package shows pre shipping label created that’s it! Emailed over and over and called! Get a different excuse every time you talk to someone! Now they are saying it could be an entire month! I’ll never buy from these fraudsters again!!!!!!!!!

It usually takes 1-3 business days for your order to be fulfilled and then with Standard USPS Shipping is typically 3-7 business days to receive the order. Business days do not include weekends but once we have handed your package off to the USPS, if for some reason they are unable to meed this agreement and you do not receive your package, we are always happy to provide a complimentary replacement or a refund. We will always do our best to assist you and we completely understand how frustrating it is to be waiting on something that you're excited about!
Ageism
While the products are okay, the company itself is full of ageism. Their focus is one-size-fits-all, which couldn't be farther from the truth for skin over 40.

Ordering and shipping were both fine
Ordering and shipping were both fine. I ordered liquid lash extension mascara in rich black and brilliant eye brightener in soft pink. The mascara is by far on of the worst mascaras I have ever tried. The color is nice, very rich and black. Needs a few coats to build nice coverage which is no big deal, but it literally flakes off into my eyes and under my eyes after a few hours. The flakes are rubbery.
You need makeup remover for sure because washing it off causes it to peel off your lashes and land all over your face. The brilliant eye brightener is a great product. Ive uses it like eyeshadow, under my eyes to brighten, under my brow, on my nose as a highlighter, in the corners of my eyes to brighten. I love this product.

While we are happy to hear you loved the Brilliant Eye Brightener we are so sorry to hear the Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara did not work out for you. The mascara is a tubing formula so it can take some getting used to and we are always happy to help with some tips and tricks to prevent flaking. Since it is designed to remove easily with plenty of warm water, it can flake if layers are applied after the formula has dried or even if there is interference with eye and face creams that contain nourishing oils. These ingredients can be great for our skin, but terrible for pigments. We do also offer returns and exchanges within 60 days of purchase as well. I am in LOVE with this mascara. I have given it a few weeks to get the full experience, and I'll never wear anything else. I have actually stopped wearing eyeshadow, because my lashes look so good, I really don't need a lot of extra stuff. This saves me SO much time in the morning, and at night; this mascara is beyond easy to remove. Half the time I just smush my lashes between my fingers to warm it up, and then gently pull the tubes off of my lashes. It's SUPER lazy, but it works when you just do not feel like washing your face. No other mascara does this. It stays put until I remove it, and I have still not experienced any smudging or flaking. Upgraded from 4 stars to 5. VERY happy!

I ordered my first product from Thrive a little over a week ago. Shipping was timely, and the items were packaged well; though they could have used a much smaller box. I ordered the mascara and the eyelash curler, and it came in a box big enough to put a coffee table book in. So, kind of wasteful there.
I like the mascara. It's not the end all of mascaras like I've seen people rave about, but it's good. I appreciate the nice packaging and I really like the applicator. The product goes on well, is nicely pigmented, and I find that it didn't dry too fast like other tube mascaras tend to do. It has been 6 hours of wear so far, and I haven't had any smudging, smearing, or flaking. I also have terrible chronic allergies and sensitive skin, which this has not bothered at all.
I really love the cause behind the brand, and I love that they're cruelty-free. The only reason I gave 4 starts is because the eyelash curler was $25 and no better than the ones you get in the drugstore. Had I known that, I would have spent that money on a lip liner rather than the eyelash curler. Live and learn!
The mascara is expensive, but as far as tubing mascaras go, it is the best one I have tried, by far. Will purchase again.
