This job is not finished, slabs sinking, aco not connected to drainage. Job was left in a mess aggregate on doors , windows and drive. Three jackets let along with drink bottles, vaps and empty packets. Totally unsatisfactory work, if the job is not put right by end of the month I will be looking at taking advice on next step.

The two staff members were great. They did an excellent job, were respectful of our property, managed the difficult bits well and communicated with us in a timely manner. We've used TimberTech on two properties, one in Titirangi and the other in Kerikeri where we now live. 10/10. We will continue to both use and recommend TimberTech.

I Would NOT recomend this product. We chose TimberTech for their 25 year warranty, which apparently they do not honor. We installed our deck in 2010. Initially there were problems with the color matching of the floor boards. The manufacturer had to send a representative out to evaluate which resulted in them paying our contractor $1800 to remove the boards he already installed and send new ones. Subsequent to this, within less than 13 years from installation all of the outward facia boards, "except one", completely faded, to the point where they almost looked white, when the color was cedar. We contacted the manufacturer who denied our claim stating that "All decking products, natural and manmade will experience weathering. Contributing factors to weathering include the environment, moisture, sunlight, heat, time and other variables which may vary by region or geography. Normal weathering is an aesthetic issue and not a performance or product warranty issue, nor considered a material defect." I could understand this if ALL of the boards were faded, but one 12' long board had no fading which clearly indicates a problem or defect. It just makes NO sense. Apparently after doing some research it seems this company has had a number of complaints and class action law suits due to the same issue. To compensate us they offered $200 for a product called DeckMax which is like putting Armor-all on your car tires. It does not restore the color back to the decking material as claimed (not even close to the "one board" that had no fading). As of today we just competed tearing down all of the TimberTech facia and replaced it with Trek materials (Total cost with labor $6549, after an initial cost of $44k to install the TimberTech deck). Hoping we get a much better result with Trek. I suggest to do your homework and chose the right product to suit your needs. In the end it seems a wood deck, despite requiring more maintenence, is definately a far more economical choice.
