Can you explain why timbertideart is "localized" in Canada and why my parcel has sent from Shenzhen (China) ?

This company is a sham - you can get the exact same products at 10% of the cost all over the web - they are not an artisan's workshop. And the qualitity is poor - I puchased two manta rays, one squeeks, the batteries barely last an hour. I do like the Manta, but don't waste your money on their misrepresentations.

the product never arrived. Beyond a shipping notification two weeks ago saying a label was created, nothing else happened. I reached out multiple times with no response (email and through instagram). The phone number is a scam +(123) 456-7890, they do not show up in a search of the Better Business Bureau, and the google search of the address shows lot with an apartment building in construction. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I have opened a fraud case with AMEX. If I could give zero stars I would.

While these products are beautiful, my order arrived damaged and inoperable. After reaching out to customer service and providing photo evidence, I was told to fix it myself with a fine needle and glue. Not only do I not have the necessary tools to fix such a delicate art piece, but the manta ray itself arrived twisted - not only broken. I don’t know if the quality is compromised or simply the shipping was too rough, but the bottom line is that they are unwilling to help. I’m very disappointed given the product’s expensive price tag. When I responded with my concerns, they ignored my outreach and continued to do so after multiple emails. Buyers beware. Once the product leaves their shop, they wash their hands of it.
