Beware: Trial period does not apply to yearly renewal. I have just gotten off the phone with Time4Learning customer service because I wanted to cancel our subscription. I thought I had a 14 day period to review and was within its timeframe. We are new to homeschooling and are trying to figure out not only how to homeschool, but what method works for my ASD child. I am furious because the free cancellation period does NOT apply to the year subscription (which is cheaper over the long run so it is compelling for people to sign up for it). The representative told me I should have looked at the fine print and that they will not give me a refund. Additionally, even if I tried to cancel my subscription online, the renewal was still scheduled to charge after a year (so you actually do have to make a call to have that removed). I am positive of this because I saw the charge and had to point it out the representative. I asked them to make it clearer about lack of trial period for anyone researching this program and to change the billing so that it doesn't default to an automatic renewal if you cancel your student.

They completely changed the curriculum to an inferior one and absolutely refuse to give refunds. Every single employee simply quotes the terms of service. The "supervisor" that called me admitted they made the change without any input from the customers, but their "terms of service" make that acceptable. This company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS!!

THEY ONLY REFUND IF YOU ONLY SIGN UP FOR A MONTH. I AM OUT $367.46.....I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANYWHERE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER/REPS....THEY KEEP READING YOU THE SAME SCRIPT ABOUT THEIR TERMS AND POLICIES AND THEY CAN EMAIL THEM TO YOU AND YOU CAN EMAIL THEM BACK...... THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE A SUPERVISOR FOR ADDED SUPPORT. TERRIBLE POLICY AND WAY TO SUCK IN EXHAUSED PARENTS WHO HAVE BEEN SEARCHING AND SEARCHING FOR THE RIGHT HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM FOR THERE CHILD. THAT LITTLE ( * ) "TERM" BY THEIR 14 DAY TRIAL SHOULD BE UNDER IT AND NOT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.

I’ve been using Time4Learning for my boys consistently for the past two years, but recently, after the new school year began, we tried to log back in, only to find that our account was canceled and all of our data was deleted on 07/22/2025—without any prior warning. That’s two years of valuable data lost.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened. The last time we experienced this, we assumed it was an isolated incident and simply created a new account. However, after reading about similar experiences from other users, I now realize that this is a recurring problem.

It’s beyond frustrating to lose important educational data—especially without any communication or explanation. How can such critical information, which directly impacts a child's learning, be deleted so easily and without notice? I can understand if accounts go inactive after a long period of dormancy, but there was no warning here.

This lack of transparency and respect for user data is completely unacceptable. Time4Learning, this is a huge disappointment, and frankly, it’s shameful. I highly do not not recommend this company.

I highly recommend you read the FINE PRINT [Terms of Service] on Time4learning's webpage. I also do NOT recommend purchasing the annual subscription as it cannot be refunded, per policy. Choose the monthly option, try it out, and cancel before the 14 days if unsatisfied! In fact, they have a lot of significant details and hidden policies that are not explicitly stated by salespeople/webpages. If payments are missed/late, your student account and profile can be immediately deleted without recovery. I would speculate that this company enjoys exaggerated marketing tactics that are protected by legal loopholes in the fine print. I am stuck with the service for the next 12 months, but they lost future business for my 3 children. Shameful business practice.

Horrible customer service. Non communication. On hold for an hour. No answer. System glitches lessons repeat and never move on.

I have been waiting on a response form this place for 9 days now. The system glitches and only allows certain access. If you call, the wait is always over 30 min. I sent multiple messages and still no one has contacted me regarding the issues. This is the worst homeschool experience. DO NOT recommend to any first time homeschoolers.

The layout is terrible for families with younger children (mine are 5 and 8). They can just go in and out of any of the lessons throughout the curriculum for the year.
When I realized this we hadn't even done a lesson. I emailed with my concerns and they just sat on my emails for DAYS. When they did respond they were less than helpful. There is no fix and I can't be refunded because I ordered the yearly instead of the monthly. Total waste. Heed the warnings on terrible customer service!!! It's all true!

My son said the grades are WAY too boring, and it just keeps repeating for him. And he said the lessons last way too long, or just flat out the same just different stuff as, "Read the passage" Also, he said the lessons are not that nice and pleasant. Like there's this one really cool character, but then they just show up too much and no other character comes up. He said only the Old Time Word Show is the best one, and he's just cutting some slack because even then they get boring due to how much nouns he's learning, like he knows all of this already, he doesn't need to get re-teached all of this shit. ts pmo, my son also says science doesn't work on his website and he has to swap too Microsoft Edge. Great, we didn't need this to happen. Also, the lessons can show very bright colors which strain his eyes. This is not good for your health too, also this shit cost so much MONEY. Like, this used to be cheap, but now?! Ugh. So greedy, SO GREEDY! Also, have you seen how much kids gave a bad review? It's clear they aren't very fond of this, please don't use T4L. My son Jason doesn't like it one bit!

Buyer Beware- They/Them will be taught to your children and they will not give a refund for a year subscription even a few days into the subscription. I also had over an hour and a half hold waiting for customer service.

Waste of money and time. Too many glitches. This program was a huge disappointment. If it actually worked the way it is supposed to maybe I would have a different rating. However, my daughter was so frustrated when it kept freezing and wouldn't save her progress. Trying to select letters to spell words didn't work. Trying to hit done when she went through the entire activity didn't work. This curriculum was supposed to be more independent for her. She has a new tablet with all the updates and we have great Internet service. The problem is with-in the website. Don't buy Time4learning.

Do NOT do the 14 day trial, because even though you email and cancel on day 15 they will charge you $43 for the next few months till you call and complain, and then refuse to refund you even though you never once used the program. What a scam!!! We chose AOP, look into other online schools because this one ranked low on the education scale, which is why we decided not to even try it.

now they are just robbing people after using you for 7 years I am extremely unhappy what use to be great is now horrible.you can't update courses right now thanks to their recent update, you also can no longer put an account on hold just talked to a rep. they removed that option also they removed the language arts extensions for middle school. so now they are literally charging people for a service they can't use and raised the price on top of that...they took a program that I have been using and loved for 7 years and completely started screwing their customers find another program and stay away.

Used to really enjoy Time4Learning. But lately, they've increased their prices without providing better or more up to date curriculum. Their new planner, instituted last year is much harder to actually plan lessons, and they scheduled an update during normal school hours on a Friday in May - in which most of their customer base is using the product. Now they have removed the ability to put your account in hold, meaning you have to pay full price during the non-use months for them to keep your student's records.

All of this to say that we are DONE with T4L. The product has lost its value, and is definitely not worth the price.

Great experience! My daughter loved the entire program. From the ability to choose extra classes to the flexibility to get her school work completed around extracurricular activities and her part time job! Highly recommend this program.

Time4Learning has been great! My son was able to finish up high school at his pace, and ended up graduating 4 weeks early. We did have some issues with some of the specific lessons where they just wouldn't load, or the website itself would error out, and that's why we aren't giving 5 stars. Outside of that, it's been great.

ok to start this off, i am in 9th grade and I only have complaints about a few things. To start, the algebra one lessons are horrible, they don't make sense, they forget to teach the math rules for the lesson, don't teach you how to do it, and expect you to know things you haven't been taught, and the quizzes and assignments have totally incorrect answers, for example I crossreferanced one problem to 3 sites after I triple checked my work and said I was incorrect, the sites however, said I was 100% correct, that is issue number 1. issue number 2 for me is the lack of information being taught across all subjects, I am working on trying to pass highschool within the next year and I belive I wont be able to with TFLs approach to "teaching a subject" I am missing so much information that is in my assignments and quizzes so this is just a horrible way for me to learn. issue number 3, some of the lessons & assignments wont complete even if I have finished them WTH, fix these issues asap, until then 1 star its shit.

These people are just constantly increasing their prices. They are very greedy IMO. Their content is made and they have little to no delivery costs but for some reason the prices just keep increasing. We have used them for years we currently have 2 kids with them and have another 2 that are about to start but we are now looking elsewhere. If you have more than 1 child or are not in the USA and have to deal with conversion rates look elsewhere, there are many other online learning platforms.

My son used Time4Learning for his entire grade school. We switched to Acellus Academy in 6th grade. I give them a grade of F for content (partly for numerous errors and inaccuracies, partly for presentation...), I give them D for customer service, D for ease of monitoring progress, and a big fat F for records maintenance: if you stop your membership, they erase all records of work. If you need a transcript of work to give to another school, forget it. Even if you re-enroll, you can't get the records back. If anyone is thinking about changing, get the reports and transcripts before you pull the plug. Terrible!

They were great; however, they never stopped taking money out of my account each month when my daughter graduated high school, even after I requested several times that they did. We payed for 2 years we never used; my daughter completed two years of college, and they were still docking my account. I closed my account to end this “relationship”, finally. Use at your own risk.
