Tinker discriminates against applicants…
Tinker discriminates against applicants with busy schedules, strict work policies, and disabilities.
I applied and was given a phone call asking me to call back within 2 days. Call back for what? No clue - no info was provided. I can’t call during business hours due to a hospital work policy.
I emailed and live chatted and requested communication via secure message. Tinker reps were hostile and shot those options down. The only option they said: call during business hours. Why? No reason was provided.
Well, one Tinker rep tried to help and said I could call Saturday 9-12 to speak to the relevant team. I called on Saturday in that window. Guess what? I was given false information. That team doesn’t come in on weekends and my application was denied.
Oh, and the cherry on top: they sneakily made a hard credit inquiry on my credit report even though I only applied for a checking and savings account. They didn’t clearly state that would happen.
Awful institution - take your business to another credit union or local bank.
