11 months ago, I ordered about 6 pairs of shoes (2 boots, 1 derby, 1 loafer, 2 oxfords). After frequently wearing all of them, this is my opinion on their refund/exchange policies, quality control, construction & comfort, and attention to detail:
1. Refund and exchange policy: TLBM is extremely accomodating. If a pair of shoes didn't fit me the way I expected, they simply took them back and sent me a better size for FREE, no questions asked. This is much better than supposedly higher-end shoes like Carlos Santos, which have seemingly stricter exchange/refund policies.
2. Quality Control: One of the shoes (from my pair of derbies) had a noticeable gash on the welt. It also came with shoelaces so short you can barely tie them, and they need to be replaced out of the box. Additionally, their factory shoelaces on non-Oxfords are cheap, lack grip, and frequently become untied. They all are better off being replaced out of the box.
3. Construction and Comfort: TLBM's Goodyear Welt construction is generally solid, with 6 out of 7 pairs of shoes showing no signs of wear or separation 1 year of consistent use. My brown wingtip oxfords unfortunately began to show some separation between the sole and the welt, but with proper care this can still last years and I believe eventually it can be taken in to a cordwainer for repair, so I'm not overly concerned. The shoes all broke in relatively well, although I will say: the chelsea boots are not a good choice for customers with a wider foot. Even ordering a size or two above normal, the last will crush your feet while the shaft will be too loose to provide support. It's best to look elsewhere for boots, perhaps even going the custom route.
4. Attention to detail: the shoes are generally rather standard, with little flair or personality. But, they remain attractive and classic in proportion and design.
There are a few reasons this isn't a 4 or 5-star review:
1. Raised prices recently. TLB isn't that far above Meermin but you wouldn't know it when looking at the price differences. Ridiculous!
2. Poor communication. I only spoke with three different company representatives at different points in time, but each had less-than-fluent English which led to limited confusion, and it often took a week or more to hear back from them.
3. Their website can be difficult to order through, with poor, incomplete, or repetitive care instructions, product descriptions, and ambiguous labelling. For example, I bought a pair of waxed roughed-out leather boots (by far one of my most frequently worn shoes). Last I checked, the product page does not list any care specifications for this unique leather finish such as how to hydrate it, special rubs, etc. Not to mention their shoe trees don't come in some of the sizes or lasts for shoes being sold (bought a pair of loafers at a size 11.5 iirc, went looking for a shoe tree, couldn't find one, emailed the company, they replied they don't offer that size for that last... disappointing, because that means those shoes will lose shape faster than the others).
In summary: TLBM offers decent shoes with a solid expectation of longevity and quality materials, but is not without its issues. I consider them to be a little overpriced when accounting for some annoying production flaws, and while I have my favorites (the loafer, the derby, and the roughed-out leather boot, all of which have performed very well), I will likely experiment with other brands in the future to find better fitting lasts and higher standards of quality control.

It is extremely rare that I write a review about a product that I’ve bought but seeing how this was such a unique situation I had to write about my experience with TLB Mallorca.
To be honest, I want to be as balanced and objective as possible about this review because while there were some pretty awesome things they did there were also not so awesome things as well. Given some of the bad reviews you see on this board you can pretty much guess what I’m going to criticize, but I wanted to highlight some positive things as well. Let me start with the positive
Positive:
The construction of these shoes is excellent! When I first received them, I spent almost an hour going over both shoes and inspecting them. Now, this isn’t a product review, so I’m not going to go too deep, but I will say that the leather, stitching and attention to detail are top notch. This is in comparison to shoes I own that cost 3 times what I paid for these and none of them have the awesome fiddleback waist sole that you often find only on bespoke or ultra-luxury shoes.
I’ll also mention that the shoe trees I bought with them are very good as well as they are perfect with the last of the shoe. All-in-all I am very happy with my purchase. But now….
Terrible:
As I mentioned earlier, you can probably tell I’m going to complain about customer service. You would not be wrong.
But again, I don’t want to approach this from a sore, agitated consumer. I want to be constructive about this but having worked in this space myself I know the difference between criticism that can transform a business and criticism that is pure rant and unproductive.
When you first visit their website (FAQ) and search to find out how long it takes to ship your order they say 3 to 10 business days. Mine took over 3 weeks. To me this wasn’t their crime. It was the fact that communications failed completely. I had to initiate communication each week to find out where the order was in the process. This should have been the other way around to let me know as a customer that my order would be delayed. Once it was communicated (after I reached out) that the plant was shut down for a national holiday and that I would receive an update later that week. It never happened. Again, plant shutdown and order delayed…that’s fine, but at least tell your customers that so you set the right expectations. Each time I reached out I felt like they were just pushing me off another week.
Strange thing however happened during my last communications with them. I told them that unless I get a shipping update in 48 hours, I want my order canceled. Literally in less than 20 minutes I get shipping details and 2 days later I get my shoes! Coincident? I don’t know. What do you think?
I’m going to wrap up this piece on a positive note about their customer service however!
When I first placed my order, I got an email the next day confirming my order and it was also asking me about my size. They wanted to know the size I ordered from other shoemakers as well as send them a picture of the outline of my foot on paper against a measuring ruler. I informed them that I normally order a 9.5 in UK. I normally wear 10.5 in US size. Which maps to the charts you normally see from 90% of manufacturers. So, I proceeded to order 9.5 based on their chart as well. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box to see 8.5 shoes! I thought they made a huge mistake, but they were the perfect size! I’m very happy that I took the time to follow their sizing guidelines to get their right size.
All-in-all the question remains, “would I buy from them again?’ the answer is ‘I don’t know, only time will tell’. I see at least 3 other pairs I would love to have in my collection.
Although the customer service experience was terrible, I know what to expect now. I’m going to put these new shoes through their paces to see how they hold up and decide then. There is no denying that they make beautiful shoes at a price point that rivals other competitors. My only recommendation to TLB is to do a better job at setting the right expectations and you would have more dedicated customers for life.

For 400 - 500 euro shoes they have the most HORRIBLE customer service I have ever seen. The woman that is in charge of answering their phones does not speak a lick of English. Their orders take weeks to ship which basically tells me that they are actually making the shoe after you place the order.
edit: see their response below, they agreed that they actually make the shoes after payment which means that they unload all the hassle and risk onto their customers who end up waiting and emailing them about delays, etc
basically they are running a zero risk business, if the customer returns the product they just unload it to another customer
this is unacceptable for an off the shelf product,

I had question about sizing and the quick answer I received made me think the company was serious. So i ordered a pair from them.
My mistake. I hope you can avoid doing the same.
I ordered on the 26/11.
Since the order was not shipped quickly i emailed.
On monday 01/12 i was told they would try to send me the order by the end of the week.
They failed
One week latter, on the08/12 I asked what was going on, and again they said that they would try to send by the end of the week
They failed. AGAIN
At this point on the 15/12 I told that it was unprofesisonal and should stop acting like children (overpromising, underdelivering)
"'Toni" was not happy about that and told me, instead of appologizing, that I was free to take my business elsewhere, which I obviously agree with.
I received the shoes 17/12 , the quality is disastrous, the chinese would do a better job, so I will send them back. I told Toni about that on the 17/12 afternoon, asking for the information to return the good.
18/12 I sent two addtional email asking for that, and even had to call the office.
Toni finally came back saying they will "try"to send me the information by tommorow
Of course you guess what happend. they failed again.
I asked for information on wednesday afternoon, and on friday night i still have nothing.
So I hope none of you will have to go through this thing. I will certainly never buy from them again, hope they will be able to reimburse me on time as they are legally required.
UPDATE : Order sent back on the 22/12. Delivered on the 07/01 (yeah UPS is bad but thats the service they use) . Still no money back on the 13/01.
Update 2 : Now they acknowedleged that they received the item but
"Accounting wanted to make a refund but if you have the incident in Shopify we can not refund you the money.If you close the incident accounting will be able to refund"
Its not shoppify but you can see that they do not want to refund. And would only do it if i close my dispute with them . Which i wont, as there is no reason to trust them.
Update 20.01 : They still havent reimbursed me. Now they blame shoppify (the company through which they operate) after having shown me a screenshot that mention they can accept the chargeback. But for some reason they have not accepted.
Lot of gaslighting and deceptions.

The service is absolutely impeccable, the staff are perfectionists and care a lot about the fit and the quality, they took time to make sure the fitment is absolutely spot on
I am absolutely a fan of this brand and I definitely recommend to any shoes passionate

Received first pair of shoes but size was wrong. Requested change in size, and after month or so got the shoes in proper size, but unfortunately shoes were not up to quality that I have expected. Visible glue and poor finishing was not acceptable for the price. Returned the shoes for refund, but ended up being charged almost 50 euros for shipping cost, although TLB did not deliver what they suppose, I ended up paying. I addition whole this torture lasted for almost 2 months, sincerely I do not recommend to anybody, customer service is slow, shoes size guide is not valid, and all experience was really bad!

I was lucky enough to be in Inca and visited their shop. The staff were very helpful and I ordered a pair of loafers which I got to customise. Customer service were very helpful and the shoes arrived earlier than expected. The loafers are beautiful (the leather so soft) and delighted with them. Great company. Great shoes.

Bought one pair of monk straps. First, they look professional, ask me what sizes I wear for other brands,
I gave them the info and they suggested.
Then they told me they need 10 days to ship the shoes. I thought, what? Will they be making a new pair once the order is received?
Ok fine, I wait.
On the 10th day, I asked them, Did you ship the shoes? They told me they will send it on the same day and send me the AWB.
Then they didn't.
I asked them again in the following week, guess what, they told me they made the shoes with the WRONG LAST, and they have to start from scratch
omg, what's wrong with them
Then I told them I could wait and ask for a courtesy discount since I had wasted so much time on this issue. They say they will offer 10%, and then i ask if I can get it through a partial refund.
After that, they didn't reply until now
I was left speechless, and my order remains unfulfilled after over 12 days
My time is wasted, and it causes so much frustration
Sincerely dont know what is wrong in their operation

The shoes are really great and I'm super happy with the purchase. The process getting them was a little different from with US companies. I usually size down with loafers and asked if I should do that again, but received an email saying that they run true to size. They don't run true to size, so definitely size down. It was also delayed by 3-4 weeks and I didn't know till I sent an email checking up. But yeah, shoes are great. Definitely get them. Super comfortable and they look great.

Bought a pair of loafers from them (Wayne) but they didn’t fit properly so I shoot them an email and they suggested an exchange.
The loafers now fit amazingly and the leather insoles they sent made a huge difference. After I sent them a photo showing how the shoes fit, they offered me a return and even threw in a free pair of insoles 🥹🥹
Really happy with how everything turned out. Would absolutely recommend TLB to anyone looking for a great pair of shoes and genuinely solid customer service!!

These are the finest shoes I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I am sure that as TLB Mallorca becomes more well-known, their prices are going to go up. In the price range that these shoes are in now, they are probably the best shoes in the entire world at this price range. Their service was great. I really want to get a pair of loafers from them when I have enough spare cash to drop this much on shoes again.
