My first time ordering a Toco bikini, website was great in helping work out the best size.
Wow one of the best pieces of swimwear I have purchased.
Really good quality and more importantly the fit is great.
Will definitely be ordering again.

Beautiful bikinis, Great Customer Service

The bikinis are genuinely lovely. I've had one for 2 years and worn in loads and it's still in great condition. Bought another this year, had a slight product issue but emailed them about it and they sorted it straight away with no issues.

Disappointing Experience with Toco Swim’s Return Service

I’m very disappointed with Toco Swim’s return process. Their website claims to offer return labels through their online portal, but the system doesn’t work — and despite multiple exchanges with customer service, they were unable to provide me with a return label.

As someone living in France, the international return shipping costs are over €30, which is far more expensive than what the brand usually deducts from a refund when they provide their own label. This makes the return practically impossible for international customers.

It’s unacceptable for a brand to advertise a return service that they cannot actually provide. This experience has been frustrating and unprofessional — I expected better.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and we’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience.

To clarify for you and for any other international customers reading this: we do offer a prepaid return option via our online international portal for many international locations, including France. The return label costs €25 from France, which is deducted from the final refund - this is significantly less than the actual shipping cost we pay (often close to €40, as all returns are sent back to the UK via DHL Express to avoid anything getting lost in transit). We subsidise this cost to make returns easier and more affordable for our international customers although recognise it is still an expensive option.

We therefore also offer the option to return using your own courier if you prefer - and if you’re able to find a cheaper alternative locally, you’re absolutely welcome to use that method instead.

If the return portal was not working in your case, it may have been because the return deadline had passed perhaps, or that you were incorrectly using our domestic returns portal? Once the return window expires, the portal automatically disables access - which is a standard functionality of the system to avoid returns being registered past our 14 day return window.

We absolutely would never advertise services we don’t provide, and we take customer satisfaction very seriously and we can only apologise once again that you have been frustrated by the customer service you have received to date. We will be sure to investigate this matter internally.

Customer service at toco swim is amazing! Chloe is so so helpful and has helped me with various issues that weren’t at fault of toco. Fast delivery and amazing quality for girls with bigger chests!

customer service severely lacking

It's a real shame. I liked the bikini a lot, but having had an ordeal with what appears to be one sole person working in their customer service team regarding multiple returns, it's proved a total headache. I am still owed a refund for something I returned weeks ago, with photo proof of the package returned. No one seems to be reading detailed information and are sending patronising and entirely unhelpful responses with no urgency.

will not be shopping with toco again

Your return was sent back to us in two separate parcels, which unfortunately led to a delay in processing the second part of your refund. This was a manual oversight on our end, and we completely accept responsibility for the confusion caused. We’re glad to confirm that the full refund was issued back in June once this issue was identified, but we’re truly sorry that it wasn’t handled more promptly the first time around.

Excellent customer service, Fab Product.

Excellent customer service, had a small issue with one of my swimsuits and a replacement was sent out immediately even though I was a definitely well out of a return window! I now have four different styles and love them all. Great product. Only swimwear I’ll wear, great fit and very secure.

I really love my new swimsuit from…

I really love my new swimsuit from Toco. I wanted something that was appropriate for swimming lessons with the kids but also something I’d feel good in at the beach. The material is lovely. I’d never usually spend £85 on a swimsuit but I really like it and it will hopefully last a long time!

Not worth it

I checked this page for reviews before purchasing, and the ratings were noticeably low. Strangely, right after I placed my order, a flood of overly positive reviews popped up all within the same timeframe which feels a bit suspicious...but hey who knows. I REALLY wanted to love this brand, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t live up to the hype. I wear Medium and have a 32f bust, i have a small frame...it's not supportive and there is a weird thing where the shoulders feel like they're pulling and fall off. I read some similar comments about this too... invest your money and go for a couple of cute, quality pieces from Bravissimo...curvy kate..instead. You'll get better value as these are over priced especially with the shipping and a more reliable experience.

Not Worth the Stress – Disaster From Start to Finish

Unfortunately, I read the reviews of Toco after I ordered and assumed the negative ones were being dramatic. Here I am, completely regretting my decision.

I would not recommend ordering from this company unless you’re 100% sure about your size and can handle a lot of back-and-forth. My experience was a complete nightmare from the start.

I ordered swimsuits online and paid for next-day delivery—only to be told after the fact that the items were on pre-order. Nowhere on the product page did it say this (other items did mention pre-order, so I know what to look for). An Instagram rep acknowledged this was a website error.

For 7 days, I went back and forth trying to get at least part of my order sent out. I also asked for a refund on the £10 next-day delivery, which I paid for and didn't receive. "Chloe" from customer service refused, claiming it was due to a bank holiday—even though I ordered a week before the bank holiday. Instagram support again stepped in and resolved the issue, but talking to Chloe was incredibly frustrating. She seemed unaware of prior messages and was difficult to deal with.

Eventually, the swimsuits did arrive. They were beautiful, but unfortunately not supportive enough for a larger bust—more suitable for lounging than any actual activity.

The worst part: I returned £400 worth of bikinis using their Royal Mail return code. The parcel is now missing. I contacted Royal Mail, who told me only the sender (the company) can file a claim. I’ve had no response from the brand since, despite multiple attempts to reach out. I really wanted to love this brand but this has been one of the most stressful shopping experiences I have ever had.

Thank you for your review and I’m sorry that the pieces didn’t work out for you. I would like to take time to respond to your negative review with all the relevant details as it is clear there has been a misunderstanding with regard to your return.

You placed a large order on 10 April (>£500), which included items on pre-order. All pre-order products were tagged as ‘pre-order’ on the website (with an estimated shipping date included), and we also had a separate pre-order page on the website too with more detail. With all pre-order items, orders were to be held until all items were in stock and shipped as one parcel (rather than sending out multiple shipments).

After some back and forth over our Instagram messages (removal of some pre-order items as you needed your order to arrive quicker) and a very unfortunate instance of not having one of the items you did order in stock (entirely our fault due to a stock count error and we profusely apologised for the mix-up), you received your order on 16 April. On 23 April, you followed up to request that the next day delivery fee was refunded and on 24 April this was done.

Subsequent to receiving your order, you wished to return the full order however on 5th May when chasing up your return with our warehouse team and providing your proof of postage, it was evident that you had shipped your return to the incorrect address - a location in Leeds, nowhere near our Warehouse in Essex.

Our team then investigated and established that the QR code that is required to be scanned by Royal Mail when a return is shipped via our returns portal (thereby registering the return on their system and allowing it to be tracked) was never scanned - so you did not return the parcel using a code provided by our returns portal. I can only assume that you mixed up your returns with another brand and returned your Toco Swim order to their return address, scanning the incorrect returns QR code.

This is obviously extremely frustrating for you however without receiving a return into our warehouse, we are not in a position to refund you. Our returns policy is clear in that items must be received back into the warehouse, in their original condition to be quality checked prior to processing a refund. Our customer service representative has been responsive and offered to generate a new label for you to forward on to the incorrect recipient, however I understand the parcel is back in the Royal Mail network so this is not something that has been done.

As soon as your return is received into the warehouse, if you are able to retrieve it from the address it was originally shipped to - then of course it will go through the usual returns process. I hope that helps clarify the situation.

Amazing quality, love this brand!

Saw some negative comments and felt I had to have my say as a returning genuine customer. I have bought multiple bikinis and swimsuits from toco, the quality is amazing and unlike so many bikinis I have bought in the past, theirs last! They don’t go flimsy in the wash or lose their colour and their designs are so flattering. Love their “see your size” feature on the website too as I normally struggle knowing what to get as I’m in between sizes. I love that is a female owned business run by two sisters who genuinely care about the product they make. Never had an issue with returning items and delivery is always quick. Whilst they’re more expensive than other brands I personally think it’s worth it given the quality and fit of items, would definitely recommend giving this brand a try!

I have bought 5 different…

I have bought 5 different bikinis/swimwear from toco! I love all of their products! So much care goes into the style creations, fit and designs for these products and it really translates in their quality swimwear. They are a small independent brand that care so much for the impact they make on building women's confidence and they really care for building a community around their brand. I couldn't recommend the brand, team and products more!

I ordered a bikini after loving the…

I ordered a bikini after loving the swimsuit I bought last year. I was sent a slightly different variation of the bikini top and got in touch via live chat. The customer service received was really amazing and they sent the correct one out the next day for my holiday :) I have now returned the incorrect one.

I’ve been shopping with Toco for a few years now and I’ve always loved everything I’ve bought - not only are their products fab but they are so responsive and happy to help on socials! Can’t see myself ordering swimwear from any other brand anytime soon!
