Shantelle was lovely and had a very calm presents. My son is 10 with autism and dyslexia and his handwriting was illegible. Now he can fluently touch type he’s able to get his thoughts on paper so it has been a life changing skill she has taught him. My son had no problem going to his lesson with Shantelle and I think that’s because the way Shantelle was with him. My son can be very difficult to take to classes and adjusting to new settings so we can not thank her enough

The Type IT team was awesome ! they were able to adjust and tailor the program to my daughters need and constraints and were so positive in supporting her through her typing journey.

Supportive, personal touch, dedicated to getting the job done - I have really appreciated the team's commitment to getting my 13yo son to competence with touch typing. It works great to do it remotely. Originally I bought the self-directed course but it became clear my son needed some additional input and so he had a sequence of 1-1 virtual lessons with Wendy who was ever-patient. Highly recommend.

Excellent online course, enabled my son to complete his work and exams much quicker and more accurately at school. Great support, feedback and encouragement from tutor. Would thoroughly recommend, so much so my older son is also doing the DofE touch typing 6 month course.

The team at Type IT were great, really kind and patient especially at the beginning of the course when my son was struggling to complete all the tasks. The feedback was prompt, encouraging and comprehensive. I hope my son can keep up the good work now that he has completed the course as it is such a fantastic skill to have.

I liked the way the course was organised, the course content, and the feedback provided. My speed was 22wpm with 96% accuracy. I am very happy with my progress and will improve this further. I never imagined I would touch type. If you are looking to learn, look no further.

This is a fantastic course, a perfect mix of technology (a brilliant app) and people (you are assigned a personal tutor) to support you. Your tutor sets you lessons and practice and then reviews your progress weekly providing a useful feedback loop.

My teenage daughter is dyslexic and school suggested she learn to type. Type IT has been really excellent in providing a very thorough and engaging typing course with plenty of tutor encouragement. She has never been made to feel silly or felt demotivated. The tutors have done an amazing job in helping to keep her on track to learn how to type with accuracy and speed. Very important for her coming GCSEs.

Really great. Never though Jack who is dyslexic and has ADHD would progress so fast through the course. Really proud of him and especially grateful to the TypeIT team. Worth the 2 hour round trip.

Really enjoyed our face to face touch typing lessons with Jude. Jude adapted her teaching for each of us and me and my ten year old twin boys all really enjoyed it.

This is a great way to learn to touch type at home. Fun exercises and fantastic feedback and support each week from Wendy, who was kind and encouraging. My 16 year old son made great progress, significantly improving his accuracy and doubling his speed, and remained engaged throughout. He’s now all set to keep improving his speed. I highly recommend this course.

A great, fun introduction to touch typing for my 10 year old son who struggles with handwriting. Fantastic feedback and encouragement throughout the course and it’s wonderful that you get access to the online lessons for three months after completing the course.

My daughter completed this course for her skill section of the Duke of Edinburgh silver award. We were impressed with the efficiency of work being set, encouraging feedback and prompt responses from the online tutors. My daughter's speed and accuracy improved by the end of the course. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to learn / improve their touch typing skills which is a valuable life lesson in this modern age.

Weekly feedback works really well, keeping focus and providing regular deadlines. Its also personal as you have one tutor assigned to you. Its a good approach and my 14 yr old has done well. Hope she keeps it up!
