Type IT! Touch Typing Opiniões 

After seeing my 12 year old son hammering away at a keyboard I decided to find a touch typing course for him. I was taught Pitman typing many years ago and upon reviewing various options I decided that Type It! looked more age appropriate and fun. The course fitted easily into his weekly timetable.
The teacher and coordinator were both amazing. I had a couple of timing issues (my fault entirely) and they were very helpful and accommodating.
Would definitely recommend.

Our 9-year-old son wanted to be able to touch type so that he could make the most of his virtual tutoring creative writing course. He really loved the one-to-one sessions with his coach, Mahima (who was great), interacting with him in real time (wish we had had more of those included in the course fee to be honest) but also really enjoyed the typing software, which he used for the remainder of the course. It was very creative and engaging.

He has a busy extra curricular schedule but just needed to do 10mins of practice a day and now has a lifeskill that will serve him well forever and is able to touch type at 99% accuracy at 15wpm, which he is rightly very proud of!

My only change would have been to include more live tutorials with the coach as he really loved that and that personal connection was a motivation to continue to make her proud. Having remote feedback from then on still did the job (it's clever that they can see exactly what speed, what accuracy and what mistakes were made from looking at the software) and Mahima was encouraging and enthusiastic with her written feedback throughout - but obviously wasn't as engaging as seeing her (lovely!) face on the screen IRL.

Fantastic program. I have tried to learn touch typing several times in the past with little success. The Touchtypeit program got me from about 15wpm hunting and pecking to over 30wpm. I no longer have to look at the keyboard when typing. The lessons were very intuitive and the weekly feedback from an actual person makes all the difference. thanks again.

A really good course. My 13 year old son is dyslexic and typing will therefore be all the more important as he will use this medium for many of his GCSEs. He did bite sized sessions daily over a few months and has just completed the course. We are considering doing the advanced course in due course also

My son did a touch-typing course with Type It for his DofE Bronze Award and really enjoyed it.

My son was assigned a fantastic tutor Dhruv. He was absolutely brilliant. His weekly reports were very detailed and so encouraging. My son and I really looked forward to receiving his feedback every week.

The progress my son made over the 12 weeks was incredible. He's now quite a capable touch-typist. The skills he has learnt will come in very handy in his life.

My son's assessor's final report was sent directly to DofE to prove he had completed his 12-week skills section. Everything was done very efficiently and promptly.

The course is reasonably priced, considering the vast amount of the resources available and the great personal feedbacks provided by the tutor (My son and I both liked his tutor Dhruv to bits).

Thank you so much for making my son's DofE journey so enjoyable. I would highly recommend Type It! whether you're simply trying to improve your touch-typing skills or considering to do touch-typing towards your DofE.

Very impressed at how my 11 year old dyslexic daughter has sailed through this course - it’s broken down into very do-able time chunks so has never felt overwhelming. Her typing is really strong now and she is rightly proud of her achievement. She’s a much better typist that me! Her teacher Sharon was great and very encouraging. Thank you all!

Type It! has been a fabulous way for my daughters to learn touch typing. The instructions are clear and the lessons are really useful.

3 of my children had already done this course and it helped them tremendously, especially one with slow processing speed and the other with dyslexia.
They were able to use a laptop in GCSE and A Level exams, so it was a huge benefit and helped them to work faster and organize their thoughts better.

To be honest, I watched them typing and was quite jealous of their practical skill. I put it off for ages and finally got round to doing the course myself.
It was not very time consuming and I have the memory of a sieve. I was frankly amazed by how it worked and how I am able to press the keys on auto pilot without even thinking.
I run my own business and it is saving me so much time.
Very proud and delighted with my new skill.
This course really works for all ages - adults and children alike.
I believe it is a fundamental life skill and wish I had learnt it years ago.

My son had the best experience

It really works, my son is now 22wpm with 95% accuracy in less than 3 months. Amazing team, very kind and supportive. Like anything, it does take a bit of effort, 'little and often', my son typed for 10 mins every day post an intensive weeks course and a bit of 1:1 support to get those tricky letter/shifts sorted. Very happy with outcome and a happy touch typer !

My daughter learned to type over the summer holidays ready for 6th form. The weekly reports kept up her motivation and the staff were always very responsive. She's finding it very useful when making notes this year.

All the teachers are very helpful, Type It software works really nice – it's comfortable and easy to use. It's possible to study with TypeIt everywhere – I completed the cource in the seaside, it was a really nice experience, I understood all the materials and skills of the cource.

Great week of intensive touch typing lessons for my son. He picked it up really well and now is more aware and happy with touch typing which will help him going forward. Will continue the course so he can learn all the keys and become even more confident on it. Thank you
