UPDATE: I have been sent an email from Trustpilot's 'Content Integrity' team as TRADE SECRET are not happy with my review, so I have to alter an honest review and my experience with TRADE SECRET to appease them.
The whole point of this site to provide honest feedback on personal experiences with companies. One would hope these companies would take on board their own shortfalls and use this advice to ensure they do not put any other customers through the same. Seems that TRADE SECRET do not like honest feedback and take offence to criticism. So please look at my updated and HONEST review below:
1. (FACT) They advertise items for sale, yet fail to deliver the goods.
2. (FACT) My order has been almost 9 weeks ago for some home decor items, which needless to say has not arrived. UPDATE - still no delivery at 35 weeks.
3. (FACT) I have been back and forth to no avail with a member of staff (who cannot be named on this site) who says will look into it and then no response.
4. (FACT) This company has absolutely no morals and will steal your money.

BEWARE OF THESE THIEVES!!

Ordered & paid for 2 chairs online but wanted to try before delivery as one was in another depot & was told I had to purchase them first before they could collect from the other site. When tried, they were not comfortable so immediately asked for a refund as they had not left their premises. After numerous phone calls & being fobbed off that the Operations Manager would authorise and call me to confirm, a refund was finally received after one month. Be warned and do not give them your custom.

Went into trade secrets in Banbury on the 3/09 Saturday, spent an hour testing out mattresses and eventually found one that I really liked priced up at £359. I payed them the money and was told it would be delivered that week . I had a call on the 6/9 Tuesday from the delivery man to say he could deliver my mattress that evening but I was unable to be in so we arrange delivery for the 9/9Friday. Great .
Then on 8/9 Wednesday afternoon trade secrets phoned me to say they had sold my mattress to someone else online and that the mattress I had brought and tested out had ,had the wrong label put on it , So the online customer ended up getting a completely different Bed than what she thought she’d brought because of they mistake . And to keep her happy they give her the won I’d brought . So here I am with no mattress as I’d already got rid of mine , they have had my money for a week and Iv now got to wait for the refund to clear . 2 hours of my time wasted in the show room and all I get from them is (It is what it is ) !!!! Absolutely disgusted and appalled at the customer service for a problem that they’ve caused . they could’ve at least asked me to come in and give me a discount on a different mattress but nothing!!!!

I just want to warn anyone who is thinking they will get a bargain from this place. You probably won't be.

I always do my research on a product before I buy to ascertain if the price is good. You can type the description name or reverse search the image on Google. This will bring up all sellers with the same or similar products. So imagine my surprise to find that a garden bistro set on Trade Secret was listed as £365 and was 'discounted' to £265. Seems like a good deal? That's only if you look nowhere else and believe their claim. This particular set is being sold for around the £220-£240 mark on a number of other seller sites. Even their "discounted rate" is more expensive than other places. Avoid this rip-off.

We ordered a couple of arm chairs and then had to cancel the order. We still have not had our refund almost 2 weeks later, despite being told that this would be done in 4-5 days.

I have just had a mattress delivered to my property that I purchased from Adderbury Trade Secrets. I asked the delivery men if they would kindly take it to the bedroom for me.
This entailed one spiral staircase and a second flight of stairs to the second floor.
I was delighted that they were able to do this for me.
A great product, great service and a happy customer.

We bought an extending loaf table a couple of weeks ago in the sale. It arrived and looked great, until we realised the extendable middle was for a completely different table and wouldn’t fit this one. Trade secrets have not responded to emails, we have not been able to get through on the phone and now we’re trying to chase a refund every day.

Despite all the disruptions at the moment communication was regular and polite to arrange a delivery slot. The item arrived as arranged.

Trade Secret... The biggest 'secret' they kept was where the sofa I paid £1500 for came from no matter how many times I asked they said it was from a designer and was end of line, other than that they don't know... Got it home to find it was from Costco Wholesale.... Feel like I've been completely ripped off by these scam artists!!!!

Wow, we're amazed that nobody has posted a review on this exceptional business yet! We found it initially through an Internet search and thought it was worth checking out - the offers looked good ( and with so many furniture companies offering Best Deal Ever promotions our default position is DUBIOUS) and with branded products such as MultiYork, John Lewis etc it warranted a visit.
The location is good, easy to find, and plenty of parking - next door to the Fired Earth showrooms and Clearance outlet.

The showrooms are well laid out, no frills, lots of sofas to choose from and at excellent prices with genuine reductions. We chose a great MultiYork sofa in a style we'd seen in their own showroom and saved ourselves around £500! We didn't want delivery right away and Trade Secrets said that they would store it for us free of charge for a short period. We visited a couple of times to check colour matches and stuff and the sofa was safely wrapped and stored on our visits - and we didn't tell 'em when we were coming! On every visit, every member of the team we spoke to was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable.... on EVERY visit. Anyway, long story short, we made two more purchases, both of which have proved to be exceptional value, and all of which was delivered by the most professional team of delivery guys you'll ever come across. Trust is a big thing, especially when your buying big ticket items. Trade Secrets did a great job for us and we suspect that whoever owns this great little business has some good old fashioned retail values at the heart of what they do. Well worth a visit.
