I can't even give them one star but I wasn't given an option to rate them with zero stars! I used them for transport from an overseas flight to my hotel. We were delayed in a long line in passport control which we had no control over. The driver left us and never offered any help or options for us for pick up. When we attempted 3 times to speak to a live agent at Travel Curious, we could never get transferred and had to find a cab. When I emailed Marriott Travel Curious they said it was our fault that we exceeded the 60 minute wait time and they not only did not refund any portion of our fare, they refused to do anything to compensate us for this loss. And their fee was $110 when the cab was $39 USD. Such terrible customer service, I would not recommend using them. Daytrip was a much better option for our other transport needs and we would recommend them.

Had a fantastic tour with Rob in London for Harry Potter filming locations in late May. We were a party off five with one young child and Rob kept the tour interesting, made friends with our young one, and really gave a fantastic experience all around. Would go with Rob again on any kind of guide experience where our interests overlap! Thanks Rob for the time, and sharing your stories with us!

We took the private guided tour of the Louvre. Nadia was our guide. She was just the best ever! Very educated in arts & The Louvre. Her stories were fascinating. She made navigating the largest museum in the world a stress free & enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Nadia!

Took a black cab tour of London with Patrick and it was 10/10. He knew every bit of information and tailored the tour to everything we wanted and had the best personality to go along with it. Would recco for a friend

On 1 September, 2025, my wife and I took the Tower of London tour, including a short cruise on the Thames, and visits to Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. Our tour guide was Anna Fernandes. Besides being incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, Anna has the greatest of personalities, which made our tour very positive and joyful. Ms. Fernandes had obviously studied the history of the sites down to the finest details. We would recommend Ms. Fernandes and this particular tour to everyone.

We travel the world and like to book small group or private tours to make the most of our visit. This was my first time using Travel Curious and wound NEVER use again.

We booked an "Off the Beaten Path Tour" in Edinburgh. Our initial guide reached out to us a few days earlier via text to discuss interests and details for meeting. Apparently this guide got sick and they subconracted out to an Independent Contractor. We were caught offguard espcially because we weren't notified (they later came back and said they sent an email which I don't check on vacation). We were open minded and were looking forward to our 3 hour tour with a "local expert" which was not the case. While we walked around neighborhoods of Scotland there were long gaps of silence which were later filled by the guide sharing his personal life details (getting divorced, hired a private investigator, going to university for another degree, bad mouthing Travel Curious and telling us how much he got paid etc.) If this wasn't bad enough he was using his phone and Chat GPT to look up facts about certain monuments and sites. I have never experienced such an incompetent and unprofessional guide.

To say we were disappinted is an understatement. Especially for the amount we paid.

Trying to contact Travel Curious ended up taking hours of my time. They have no customer service email or phone number. Hence had to send a note to their "INFO" email address to express my initial disappointment in hopes it would get to somebody. I never got a response.

When I got back to the US I tracked down a number and final got to a person. She searched the system and said yes they got my email and they were investigating. Because email was brief I elaborated point by point how unprofessional the guide was. She said she would share withh UK team and I would have a response by end of week. Of course no response came and I called back two more times then put a stop payment on my credit card.

Evenutally I got a fluff email back stating they were sorry I was disappoined and offered me a 25% refund. This was not acceptable. Time on vacation is precious and we relied on this company to enrich our Edinburgh experience.

I just received notification from my credit card company they gave me a full refund.

I typically do not write negative reviews but I felt the need in hopes of saving others from this awful experience.

This company subs out it's tours to Viator. I booked a car service to pick me up at the airport and to drive me home through Travel Curious and the voucher I received was from Viator. First off the information provided to the car company was Viator's phone number and not mine. Viator issues a booking number, but this number was different from the Car company's trip ID number. They could not find me in there system. Needless to say the driver was not waiting for me and it took him over 30 minutes to pick me up as he was sitting at home watching TV. How is the customer to know that my phone number doesn't transfer over to the car company and that that trip ID of the car company is not provided to me at the time of booking.

The guide they sent was perfect. He understood that I had difficulties walking long distances and without a problem and with out my needing to say anything he built in sitting every so often into the tour. I felt like I was able to see all the key spots like a local (as much as a tourist can) and he helped me understand the culture and history in such a short time! Thabk you!

Maria did a great job explaining in full detail so many amazing attributes of the city and history. Her English was perfect and she was able to circumnavigate the hot spots of the city and sights without issue.

Our tour guide Valeria was absolutely fantastic. We were very please with the knowledge and information she provided. She was extremely kind and kept the tour exciting and enjoyable. We would absolutely do another tour with her.

My tour guide Margarida Ribeiro Pereira was wonderful in tour 'The City of Seven Hills'. She was very thorough in explaining Lisbon's history in detailed and showed the transformation of it in the centuries since it began. Margarida was a delight and wish many can experience the wealth of knowledge she has in the development of Lisbon. She is definitely a wonderful person and a joy to meet. I would recommend Margarida as a guide to others who come to Lisbon.

Booked a tour in Washington DC three weeks in advance. Had our flight cancelled and reached out to them at 8:00 am (6:00 pm tour). We were hoping to tour the next night or at least get a partial refund. The operators leave it up to tour guide. We were told he could not do it the next night and they had to pay him anyway. Result, zero refund or credit for future. There site literally says ‘if you have to cancel, we got you’. No mention of their stated 24 hour notice required.
I would never book with them again.

Ollie made this a wonderful four hours! My wife and I were a little tired when we started and worried that it would be too long and too dull. We were wrong!

We stopped several times and learned a great deal about the history of London and some of its most famous sights.

Ollie adjusted our pickup location with short notice so we could make it to another sight before the tour. And had us at our restaurant reservations right on time.

I am a little late in writing my review. We had a Royal London walking tour on our last leg of our trip in August. Our guide was Bea and I have to say she is amazing. So friendly, fun, and knowledgeable about London. We saw exactly everything we wanted to see and then some. I really need to go back because there is SO much more we didn't get to.

Do not book a tour of The Tower of London with Travel Curious. My family was visiting London for our first time in April; we booked the Tower of London / London Bridge Tour. The entire time (which was most of the tour) we were at the Tower of London, we were followed and harassed by the staff and our tour guide was not permitted to give us a tour there. We did not receive a tour from the tour guide in any building. It was extremely uncomfortable and stressful. I emailed Travel Curious and asked for a partial refund- the request was denied. I used Travel Curious for 2 tours that week for a family of 5; I spent a lot of money on those tours. If I pay for a tour, I expect to receive it and that did not happen. We did tip the tour guide as we felt it wasn’t her fault, but it certainly wasn’t a good experience.

Our travel agent booked a private tour of Bath, England for my family through Travel Curious. We had an amazing 3-1/2 tour lead by Mike Rowland. He customized the tour for us and took us through the highlights of Bath including historical and contemporary commentary of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed his walking tour!

Myself and some colleagues took a tour in Berlin a few weeks ago and were delighted with Travel Curious. Our guide, Walid, was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and also great fun. He managed to engage a group of people with different interests for the duration of the tour and really brought Berlin to life for us on a very cold, grey winters day. He also made it possible for my colleague to join in most of the tour in spite of the fact she wasn't particularly mobile due to a foot injury. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

The communication was great from the outset and value for money is excellent, especially for a larger group.

I'd highly recommend Travel Curious and will definitely use them again in other destinations.

My wife and I enjoyed tours in Paris of the Musee d'Orsay and the Louvre. Nadia, our guide, was awesome. Her knowledge of the art and sculpture was amazing and her ability to tie the material to the history of Paris was so helpful. I would highly recommend these tours and Nadia as the tour guide.

This tour was fantastic! Pavel was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and architecture of Prague. Starting at the Dancing House and finishing in the Old Town Square and everything in between, we learned more than we ever could have imagined about Prague’s long history in just 3 short hours. Could not recommend Pavel enough!
