BEWARE!!!! Had lots of problems with this company. It was hard to get in contact with someone, call kept ending, etc. They booked my husband & I a flight and less than 24 hours from the departure I never got a boarding pass. I had to email countless times to finally get in contact and was told we couldn't get on that flight anymore and that there was another but we had to pay MORE money. Leaving me no choice at this point, i paid the difference. I eventually got our boarding passes, checked in and received our boarding passes. When I went to board the plane I was told our tickets were flagged and needed verification. They asked for the last 4 digits of the card I paid with and a license, when i gave them the last 4 digits of my card I used they told me that was not the card on file. I explained that I booked with a third party and it could possibly be there card number. We were then told that even if this company gave us the last 4 digits that our ticket still wouldn't be accepted because we needed to show the physical card that the tickets were bought with and it was unable to be changed. At this point the flight was already almost finished boarding and we were unable to get on the flight!!! After this point i was in contact with the company and they kept giving me the run around and then told me they can get me on a flight the next day (it was 11:45am at this point). There were plenty of flights still going out today but for some reason they couldn't book us on any until tomorrow. I've used third parties many of times and never had problems. This one was a nightmare!

I booked a trip on wowcher. Thinking wowcher a legitimate company. The holiday is through the travel makers. Absolute scam. They initially sent me a email. They then phoned me after 2 days. I phoned them on numerous occasions with no reply. I agreed to all the terms including the worst flights ever and they said they would get in touch to confirm the booking. It’s 4 days later and I’ve not heard anything, no reply’s to my emails, no answering the phone. Absolute scam, they just want you to pay a premium for different flights and if you don’t they disappear. Please I urge you not to use this company, read the other reviews( unfortunately I didn’t) it’s a complete SCAM and now wowcher won’t respond to me either.

This is a full on scam. They sold me a ticket from Seattle to Phoenix. I never got the ticket. I emailed them and some clown called me at 4:45 am saying that that price was only for the tax on the ticket and I needed to pay an additional $250 for the ticket. I said no way you scammer. He said my original purchase was non refundable and they would take my money.
I called American Express and put a stop to that scam! Do not use this place. Don't even open an email or go to the website. It's all a scam

I am writing on behalf of my 18‑year‑old daughter. She bought two Wowcher vouchers on 15 December for a Prague trip advertised at £140, having checked that 16–19 January was shown as available at that price. After redeeming the vouchers, Travel Makers called (Which I heard as it as on loud speaker) and said those dates would cost an extra £99 per person. When she declined, they spoke over her, were patronising, and pushed alternative dates she cannot make. She requested a refund on 16 December; no booking has been confirmed, yet they refused and told her to take it up with Wowcher. She works part time while studying and saved for this as a gift for her boyfriend; she cannot make the alternative dates and cannot afford the extra charges, so her savings are now tied up in a trip she cannot take and she has no funds for a replacement gift. The whole experience has been stressful, frustrating, and very time‑consuming. In our experience, this felt like a bait‑and‑switch: advertise one price, add costs at booking, then stonewall refunds. Based on this, we would urge others to avoid Travel Makers.

SCAM SCAM brought gift for my wife a month ago for a xmas market break. Paid via WOUCHER who have not helped at all. Still not got my itinary for next week nor have I got my money refunded. My phone numbers are blocked. The agents were very rude and just laughed before puttting phone down on me. They dont deserve even 1 star.

Never again.
First the agent said the tickets is without a checked bag but it would cost around 40 dollars per bag. Then 24 hours after I paid the tickets i checked and it another 250 dollars for carry on and checked bag. No updates, no emails

You can’t refund your ticket.

Once and never again with this company, I could have done this on my own.

SCAM,SCAM,SCAM, I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BOOK MY TICKET AND NEVER DID IT , WHEN I CALLED TO FIND OUT ABOUT IT, THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME MORE FOR ANOTHER FLIGHT SAYING THAT ORIGINAL BOOKING WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THEN I GOT A CHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT THROUGH THEM THAT I AM DISPUTING RIGHT NOW.

The agent said his name was Jimmy Knox. I have reason to believe that was a lie.He tried to charge me $560 for a seat assignment on an already booked flight. He said he needed my credit card info to do this but then he would process a refund right away.I felt uneasy throughout the whole conversation and should have hung up right away! I then called the airline directly and they confirmed my seats were already assigned and there was no additional cost involved. They told me I was scammed and to report this and contact my bank right away. Shame on you

We recently purchased a Malta 3 night deal from Wowcher via the order number above.

We received no email confirmation for the purchase from Wowcher or the travel operator The Travel Makers.

After three days we decided to contact the travel operator ourselves as was unsure if the reservation was indeed valid.

The Travel Makers were aware of our booking however could not honour the price the holiday was originally booked for or the listed hotel *Solana They said they would call us back after they had tried to get us the advertised accommodation.

We never received a call, so called them again the next day. It was at this point they offered us yet another price!! Even more than the previous day with a lower starred hotel as well a different airport!! The price was now double what we had originally been quoted by Wowcher. Again they said they would call us back whilst they tried to find a better deal yet they did not.........

We called again the following day to be offered a different country!! In fact Portugal, again different airport which included a 3 hour stop at an airport in southern England.

It was at this point we were really dubious about the holiday company and searched them online only to find other Wowcher customers had had a similar experience. I even came across Facebook groups set up especially about Wowcher travel deals and the negative similar experiences others had had!
Some customers even spoke of being sent last minute notifications before flying demanding more funds whilst others mentioned being left standard abroad whilst travelling with children and received no communication from The Travel Makers or Wowcher.

At this point would not actually feel safe flying with the Travel Makers even if it was a free trip!

To say I am dis appointed with Wowcher is an understatement, especially after being a loyal customer for several years. The stress and upset of what was supposed to be a special birthday treat has been very upsetting.

They sold me two round trip tickets for $200. Then of course one of the seats was not available so I had to change to more expensive tickets that ended up costing $640 because they refused to cancel the reservation or issue a refund.

It's a scam. You book a flight for one price and they call you later saying that the price is $400-$500 more. Then they start using scare tactics for you to book the expensive flight. They say things like, you will be changed anyway and you will lose your money; the air company already charged you and there is no refund. I had to cancel my card as I don't trust my credit card number in their hands.

Scam tickets, dont book ever with them. They will show different price on website and then wont refund your money too, forcing you to pay higher

It is a scam. They book you a flight that is way cheap. They sent a confirmation number, and stated that it was all a go. I called back because my daughter had found this travel fare on line and it sounded very "fishy " to me. The flight was to be $192.00. I said I wanted proof that the ticket was actually on a Delta Flight for the date requested and all the flight info we had asked for. She put me on hold, told me that flight was "sold out: and that I could get same flight from Delta for $718,00. I explained that I had not requested that amount for any ticket from Delta, that my communication was strictly with their company and I knew they were frauds. I tried to get them to fess up. They are not legal. They are a SCAM I cannot even tell you the song and dance they TRIED to perform to get the $718.00 from me. I explained that we have protection at our bank and I was going to put a stop pay on anything they attempted to run. I asked to speak to a supervisor and, of course, there was not one available, So, I alerted my bank immediately. I let this company know that I was going to report them, post on their website and go to the police. All of a sudden O get notice that they had issued a cancellation. Funny, Delta had not received any request for a ticket from this company, not did they have any other bookings this is a total fraud.

I booked online. Then they will send you a conform for Booking request without mentioning the booking price.
Then nothing. When I called them their rep told me that the price has tripled. I said then there is no deal and at that time he said that I must pay "cancelation fee". I realized it is a fraud, hang up and called my credit card company.

This company is a 100% Scam, Ive just been watching on you tube about them real live scamming. If you see reviews giving them praise and 5 stars then ignore them, they are from their own employers.

TRAVELMAKERS JUST SCAMMED ME FOR $1,187.44 (4 AIRFARE TICKETS)---I received the flight detail requests and a confirmation that they took my money but NO E TICKETS -- I HAVE BEEN ON HOLD WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR 32 MINUTES.. NO ONE ANSWERING- IM REPORTING TO MY BANK AS FRAUD

Horrible thieves. No good stay away absolutely a bunch of criminals
