This was my first trip with TripSmiths and it was really enjoyable. We were a large group of more than 30 and our guide Pietro, quickly made contact with us all. The trips to St Moritz on the Bernina express, to Varenna, and to Como by private boat were very well organised, well planned and exceptional. I had let the company know in advance of my dietary difficulties and, on each occasion a meal was included in the itinerary, the restaurants or hotel staff contacted me and confirmed what they were serving was appropriate. Pietro then found me, and just gentle checked that all was ok. Because of the severe weather which hit Italy during Sunday night and continued during our journey to Milan airport the next day, we had to take the motorway but the coach engine became flooded so we had to change coaches. But once again Pietro and the coach driver managed this well and Pietro went through the coach ensuring that everyone was ok. Thanks to everyone at TripSmiths and I will certainly travel with you again.

The Glacier Express tour needs to be tested and trialled by a competent tour guide, prior to offering to the public

We were most disappointed with the holiday which turned out to be exhausting. As you will know our original guide was ill and so the "stand in" who was charming had absolutely no idea as to where we should go and was permanently on the phone for more instructions - it was like the blind leading the blind.
Out of 16 train journeys there were 10 with cases - considering the average age of the party went from 63 to 93 it was very hard. You will receive a letter from us in due course.

The organisation was extremely efficient. We saw some lovely places. The guide (Mariangela) was very good, knowledgeable and very friendly.
Hotels were very clean and efficient.

The location at Lake Molveno was outstanding ,the excursions were well planned and thoroughly researched by our excellent tour manager Mariangela Piccoli. Mariangela exceeded our expectations, her knowledge, enthusiasm and patience made the excursions enjoyable and fun. Our main driver Donato made our journeys comfortable and stress free especially on the winding mountain roads.
Despite the good location the Hotel Ariston was a disappointment , meals in particular did not meet the standard we expected.

Very organised tour and Bocelli Concert was magical.

Francesca, our tour guide was exceptional and made the tour special.

Excellent organisation -could not be faulted. Rather a lot of coach travel, but smooth and needed to reach destinations.

We have just returned from TS Tours holiday to Bologna. The holiday was fabulous with great guides and tours .i can’t recommend the company enough. We particularly liked the vineyard making balsamic vinegar as the owners had a great sense of humour . Parma and Modena were beautiful and I would like to return to spend longer there.

We certainly had a Taste of Slovenia in every way. Our tour guide Arne, was exceptional. He was so informative on many subjects from geographical to political to local knowledge.

It was disappointing that Charlie Dimmock was unable to join us on the cruise. The time allowed at the Keukenhof gardens was far too short and finally the missed port at Antwerp was not compensated for by a short visit to Cherbourg. As ever though the crew and ship were all excellant.

Just returned from Colditz Tour and can safely say the whole trip was excellent...from the moment we landed in Berlin and met Guy and Clive, our very knowledgeable guides to out final day in Dresden. Lots of laughs as well as information overload. We both thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

The whole trip from start to finish was really well organised and very informative, the guides were great and knowledgeable and also good fun.

Just returned from Amsterdam. The tour covered so much ground and was great value for money.
Tour guide Rosemary was exceptional! Warm and funny, generous and accommodating. Such an interesting lady with a wealth of knowledge.
Ceese was our Driver. He brought lots of local knowledge, friendly and super helpful.
There was a slight blip over the included dinner where the menu was not as stated but Rosemary handled the challenge with grace and ensured that every person on the tour could order any additional food or drink from the menu for free. We would book every tour with Rosemary if we could.

My first tour with TS Tours. First-class expert for four days to guide, explain and amuse! First-class local tour leader to keep the group under control! Comfortable hotel with friendly staff and delicious breakfasts. An excellent experience all round.

Sophie Hay was excellent. Her presentation, her knowledge, patience and humour made the trip the very best and we were very privileged to have her in charge of the archaeological visits to Herculaneum, Pompeii and the archaeological museum in Naples.

The hotel was not what I would regard as four star.It was clean and functional.I had no tea or coffee making facilities,there were no tissues in the room

Breakfast was excellent.The evening meal was very starch heavy with little protein or vegetables,.The included wine was meagre in quantity.Having to cross a busy road to get to the meal was a big no no.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful

The main sites we visited were amazing but the day spent in Naples was disappointing We had to wait a long time for our short slot in the excellent Naples museum,it would have been nice to have longer there While waiting we trailed through incredibly crowed streets and a cathedral where people were actively worshiping.,I felt very uncomfortable there,we were given no indication that we could opt out and join the party later

Sophie was a wondeful guide,as was Daniella.Luca managed the large party with charm and good humour

The two lunches we had were good,the second at a fish restaurant was excellent-the best of the whole trip

I was disappointed with the changes you made to the tour after i had booked,ie change in hotel and loss of free afternoon on the day of Naples visit,I had hoped to climb Vesuvius-after all none of these sites would be there if not for the eruption.The visit to underground Naples was not interesting and was a complete waste of time

I have often travelled on my own and have felt left out of any socialising by couples keeping their own company.This trip was very different,because were seated at group tables there was more mixing and those travelling on there own were included in the conversation

On balance I enjoyed this trip and will consider travelling with you again

The Venice and Orient Express journey was amazing! From booking to the end of my experience. From Sally,our tour operator, to the staff at the Monaco and Grand Canal Hotel, Venice, nothing was too much trouble. The team on the Orient Express were so welcoming, warm and wonderful. Attention to detail was second to none. Thank you to all concerned. It was an experience I shall never forget!

I have never been on a river cruise and haven't used a travel agent for many years. However, TS tours will always be my choice from now on. The 3rd. man tour was amazing. There were no worries about anything and it always went very smoothly. Also, their customer service was 5 star. Thank you all for looking after us. Till next time.....

An excellent trip on a luxury cruise ship, the a-rosa Riva. The staff onboard could not do enough for us. Noel and Mike were cosumate hosts througout, friendly and informative. The trips were interesting, led by guides employed by tripsmiths. Vienna was fast paced with visits underground, for sachertorte and to the 3rd man museum, all really enjoyable. Bratislava was beautiful and the danube picturesque. The locks are amazing to observe and there are 8 of them along the route. In Linz we had free time to view the city at our own paceand to visit the Christmas markets and winter wonderland. We footage detectives wre a friendly bunc and we a great cruise. I would recommend full heartedly.
