Ordered a terrarium kit for my wife’s birthday and she loved it.

Clearly people have different experiences but for me this was not worth it - the terrarium had a chipped cork lid, a blemish on the glass and - the real problem - a lid that didn’t fully cover the opening. Katie replied to emails politely and in good time, but it is clear all sales are final and for what is in truth not a massive discount (£5 off £27) I regret buying this. I was told a gap at the top is fine but it’s clearly not optimal and feels more than a cosmetic defect. I’ve ordered a deeper cork to see if that works better if it can sit at an angle and, if not, I’ll buy another jar. My take is not worth the risk as you really don’t know what you are getting, and from reviews there looks to be a big range in defects. I’m not disputing that some people get a bargain but not me in this case. Lesson learned

I ordered a full terrarium set for my son, incl the glass bowl, as well as a kit to renew my own terrarium from Tropical Glass.
Everything arrived in perfect order and my son and I had a "terrarium party" which we thoroughly enjoyed. We watched the video first and then took our time creating our terrariums. They look beautiful and we are very happy with them! Thank you!

Ordered a terrarium from Tropicalglass via Amazon. It arrived on time and I'm generally satisfied with the plants and kit, however the glass terrarium itself has a very noticeable defect in it which does spoil the overall look of the terrarium (it's not a minor air bubble as mentioned in the description of the terrarium but a scratch or crack in the surface of the glass about 6mm in size).
Also, the details on Amazon and Tropicalglass' own website incorrectly states that the LED cork lid requires AAA batteries, whereas they actually take AA, so I've also wasted money buying rechargeable AAA batteries!
I contacted Tropicalglass regarding these issues, but apart from a 'thankyou for your feedback' response they seemed uninterested and made no effort to resolve the issues. I won't be using them again.

Items arrived quickly and well packaged. Looking forward to using them again.

Always get my Terrarium plants and moss from here, always good quality and well cared for when packed. Customer service is great, rang to add couple things day after I placed an order when seen they were back instock, the lady I spoke to couldn't have been nicer about doing this, was not a problem for them to add this and sort my payment fantastic service every time.

Have now bought plants, starter kit and a Terrarium from Tropical Glass.
Very happy with everything. The plants especially are very healthy and everything is well packaged.

Battery cover has missing screw and when I called your number phone was switched off so sent text message and have received no reply.

My new go-to company! I've previously purchased sheet moss from this company and was so impressed by the value for money and quality. I've recently purchased more moss, cork bark and a plant and I'm absolutely thrilled. With other companies I've always been given poor quality and small sized cork bark...not these guys!

I've emailed the company on both occasions and have had replies within the hour. Their moss is grown in-house and their cork bark supplier heat treats it, no insecticides on either one.

I’m absolutely delighted with the bonsai tree I ordered from Tropical Glass. It arrived beautifully presented and looked even better in person than I expected. The tree itself is gorgeous, healthy and clearly very well cared for, and the glass presentation makes it feel really special.
I bought it as a gift for a former student, who is heading of to university and was so pleased with the quality and attention to detail. It’s such a unique and meaningful present, and something that will hopefully be enjoyed for many years.
The whole ordering experience was easy and the delivery was excellent. I would definitely order from Tropical Glass again and would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a beautiful and unusual gift.

One of the 5 succulents had a few leaves damaged. Given it didn’t have many in the first place, it was significant enough to place aside for my first terrarium. Assuming I continue with this interesting hobby I’ll give Tropical Glass another go and hope all is well on the next order.

The kit arrived promptly. It was beautifully packed and in perfect condition. It's a gift that I'm not due to give for a few days yet, so I opened it up to give the plants some light. They are bright and healthy and also well packaged. I can't wait to see my grandson assemble this. Thank you.
