1-Star Review – Truck Parking Club (1249 Byberry Rd, Philadelphia, PA)

I booked and paid for a truck + trailer parking space here late at night and arrived within 30 minutes. What I walked into was completely unacceptable and nothing like what’s advertised.

First off, this is NOT a legitimate truck parking facility. It’s an unorganized dirt lot/junk yard with massive potholes, standing water everywhere, debris, and random trailers and equipment scattered with no structure.

There were ZERO usable parking spaces available.
The listing shows organized “green highlighted” areas and clear parking layout, but in reality everything is parked wherever. There was no room to maneuver, no way to safely turn around, and absolutely no actual space for a truck with a 36’ enclosed trailer.

Now here’s another major issue:
They advertise this as a gated, secured location with a gate code — that is completely false.
• The gate I entered through was already open
• No gate code was required or provided
• No security, no control, no enforcement

So not only is the lot misrepresented, it’s also not secure at all, which is a huge concern when you’re hauling equipment or cargo.

When I contacted them while on-site:
• They insisted there were “spots available” (there were not)
• Told me to park on the shoulder at the entrance (unsafe and not what I paid for)
• Refused to come out and actually show a space
• Provided no real support despite the situation

I had no choice but to leave and find parking elsewhere. I never used the space, yet they still charged me $40 and hide behind a “non-refundable” policy.

Let’s be clear:
• This is false advertising
• The photos and layout do NOT match reality
• The “secured gated access” is misleading at best
• The lot is poorly maintained and not suitable for actual truck parking
• Customer service is unhelpful when it matters

If you’re a driver, especially at night, avoid this place. You’ll waste time, deal with unsafe conditions, and risk being stuck with no options.

I will be disputing this charge and reporting this listing because this is not an accurate or honest representation of what’s being sold.

Customer service was amazing. Kim was friendly and kind. She made sure I was at the right location.. we talked on the phone for a minute felt like I was talking to a friend. She's is really one of a kind.

If I could give zero stars I would. Got charged for overage and arrears from the location in Rocky Ford, CO all while my trailer has been at my yard for 6 days. Got contacted by some dude called Wolfgang who was absolutely worthless!! I got cheated out of money and got told there is nothing that can be done!!! Talk about shady as hell business practices!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE SCAM ARTISTS AT ALL!!

The platform itself is straightforward once configured and gives us a much better way to manage parking and payments centrally instead of handling everything individually.

In world of automation and unable to speak with a live person. This was refreshing to talk to a professional person.

We found the club when we were in the middle of nowhere & all lots were full! trying to find somewhere to sleep & saw the sign for this empty lot! Registering was quick & easy! spot was safe & secure
