The only protein powder I use. I like how I can customize my mix and the quality of the protein. No complaints. Highly recommend.
Automatic subscription created without consent—repeated unauthorized charges
I placed one one-time order with True Nutrition. After that purchase, an automatic auto-renew subscription was created on my account without my knowing or intentional consent, and I was charged and shipped additional orders every 14 days.
Customer support stated in writing that “Subscribe & Save” is selected by default unless the customer manually changes it at checkout. In other words, recurring billing is turned on automatically unless you catch it and opt out.
Once the extra charges appeared, I contacted the company and objected. Despite that, another renewal still processed and shipped. I was told it could not be stopped because it was already “processing.” I requested escalation to a superior and was told there was no higher level available.
This resulted in multiple unauthorized charges and shipments, extensive back-and-forth, and refusal to meaningfully resolve the issue unless I absorbed additional cost.
Based on this experience, I do not recommend shopping with True Nutrition. Their default auto-renew subscription model and handling of billing disputes create a serious risk of being charged repeatedly for orders you did not intend to place.
You guys have to do better
You guys have to do better! I have an upcoming trip abroad and ordered my protein pouch well in advance and based on the tracking I know it will not make it in time! You guys tout your premium 3rd party tested ingredients but use this substandard OSM Worldwide to ship products. The Pony Express would ship faster! The reviews don’t lie. OSM sucks! Stop being cheap and pay for a better shipper. The protein I ordered won’t do me any good now other than sit in the elements until I arrive back in the states. I wish I could demand it be sent back and watch the tracking as OSM take their sweet little time bringing it back to your Cali facility.
Good stuff
I've been searching for something wrong with this protein, everything but having it tested myself, and haven't found anything bad about it. I replaced my GNC brand isolate 3yrs ago at first I had problems with delivery but only with FedEx putting the packages on the front step where they kept getting stolen. Otherwise pretty impressed I use the micro isolate vanilla flavored I consume 160 to 200 grams a day with me regular diet I'm 52 and have been doing protein shakes for 39 years and I have to say I'm impressed I also add it in with my pitbulls meals she gets 2 half scoops per day and she's shredded now and sells to love the vanilla flavor
Fed up with their shipping problems
Been signed up for only 3 months on a 30-day auto subscription. This last order has been rediculous with a serious lack of customer service. Latest order was supposedly shipped on 9/28, I received a tracking number, 9 days later no updates on the shipping from either USPS or Truenutrition. Aent email to the company 2 days ago-no response. Contacted the USPS today, I have been told the tracking number was for a shipping ticket created on 9/28, USPS is still waiting to accept the shipment. No longer a customer, will be reporting to my bank to return the credit card transaction as possible fraud.
True nutrition falling off
I’ve been using them for many years. Every so often you have a problem with them. My recent order 3lbs from California to New Jersey order creation to receive 15 days with 10 of them on shipping. The odyssey of the whey protein pouch
I'm writing this because it's been three weeks since I've put an order for True nutrition protein. I am now rooting for it to stay on the road "shipping" to me as long as possible. Why would I want that? Because I often imagine my bag of protein traversing the US like Frodo heading for mount doom. A slow perilous journey. I'm proud that my protein will be three weeks, perhaps four or more, on the road surviving battles with orcs, wizards and other unimaginable dangers before (and if) it gets to me. After all, what else could be slowing down a shipment inside the continental US for almost a month if not adventure?!? I hope to meet my adventurous whey protein some day. Until that day happens I will think of my protein and tell my grandchildren about the protein shake I waited a lifetime for. About what that bag of potential mass gain stood for. Maybe once I'm long and gone they'll receive this valiant bag of whey protein! It'll tell them tales of survival, romance, and grit! And it will avenge my death and my honor!
Unstoppable Marketing Emails
No matter how many times you unsubscribe, and no matter how many times you reach out to support, they will continue to send you promotional and marketing emails.
They do not care about you as a customer or the customer experience. It doesn’t matter how many hundreds of dollars you are spending with them.
The last time I reached out about being removed from the email lists, the support agent canceled my subscription without notifying me. That felt intentional and personal.
Great unflavored clear protein product
I’ve been using the Whey Protein Isolate Cold-Filtration unflavored protein for a couple months. In general, I hate protein shakes but I have to supplement to meet dietary needs. I prefer to use unflavored products and mix them with whatever flavors I want. A scoop (30g protein!!) dissolves completely clear in cold water. It does not feel bulky. I have even added a scoop to a muffin recipe and crepe recipe (it dries things out just a little so adjust recipe accordingly). My favorite way to get a 30g protein boost is to mix 1 scoop with about 1/4 C water or oat milk, dissolve completely, and add coffee. It’s like drinking a latte. A lot of the negative reviews involve poor service but I haven’t had reason to tap customer service.
Orange Creamsicle Tasted AWFUL
I got the orange creamsicle flavor and it had the most awful taste. I had my friend try it and she also said she had never tasted anything like it.
Customer service said I had to pay for shipping and the bag had to be 60% full. If they are sending out products without tasting the batches to customers, they are going to keep loosing customers.
No wonder why they dont have a review section on their actual website. I DO NOT recommend this brand.

Just really sad to see a company go so sour. The customer service is as bad as it gets while trying to pretend they care. Orders are constantly wrong or late and they never refund or send the package priority for their mistake. Pathetic discounts and empty apologies. I have spent thousands and yet they give products away to insta fit people who don’t even care about the product they just get it for free. Garbage customer service from a garbage company.
Good Custom Protein

My powder is delicious - tastes just like a latte, mixes well with water, and is tolerated well. My only wish is that True would offer a cane sugar option as an alternative to stevia or sucralose. With that said, I appreciate being able to customize my powders, it makes all the difference.
CRAP COMPANY SERVICE /CUSTOMER SERVICE CANNOT BE WORSE…
I have placed many orders with them for over 10+ years and the customer service has become terrible.
I placed an order on Monday and Tuesday I got a BS email from them that is a LEI, the order has NOT shipped on Tuesday, not Wed ,Thurs, but actually 5 FIVE days later on FRIDAY!!!
I called TN on Thursday to see what was going on with my order and why the deceptive email/tracking #.
First, when the WOMEN answered the phone I had to ask if this was TN. She is unprofessional by not saying that this is the company but when I asked if this was TN she was MS. ATTITUDE and said "well Yea who did you think it was". NO ONE can tell who it is UNLESS YOU answer the phone identifying the company, What a STUPID answer girl.Useless snowflakes for sure lacking in every sense. SHE had all the excuses and a poor ATTITUDE again, her specialty.
I asked why the fake shipping tracking #is she said its their policy???? I had a simple order, no special blends, as she mentioned but it is obvious that TRUE NUTRITION IS NOW A F-ed up COMPANY that they have now perfected and will never give them my money on will not recommend to anyone again. The usual we get too big to give a dam about the customer. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is all they are about.

Over a decade of positive experiences
I don't know how many years I've been ordering from True Nutrition, but it's been more than a decade. The product has been consistently high quality, and I've never had a negative experience with customer service, shipping, delivery, or consistency of product quality.
A family member recommended True Nutrition, and I stayed not only because of all the things I mentioned above, but also because of the company ethos, third-party testing/quality control, and in-house manufacturing. The same passion that drove the co-founders to launch True Nutrition over twenty years ago is still present today.
That's why I remain a loyal customer with True Nutrition.

I ordered 3 bags of protein. Each bag was 1 pound. I specifically wanted it this way. I travel for work and I rather carry a small bag of protein. They sent a 3 pound bag which I didn’t order and then they pointed out to the tiny print saying that “…your order quantity will be combined into a single container when possible…” . I want what I ordered. At the end they made it my fault that I didn’t get what I ordered. Order No. 534173

I used to LOVE True Nutrition. I've been ordering from them for years. I found the receipt in my email from March of 2017. I have spent $1000s ($10,000s?) at this point, ordering protein every month for nearly 7 freaking years.
At some point in the last year or so, I think they either got an investor or changed leadership. They rebuilt their website and ordering process. At first, I thought...great!
But it's a disaster. The website is clunky as hell and their customer service is a disaster. They're rude as hell and if you write in to complain about something, they'll point to whatever tiny print is in their Ts&Cs to make it your fault.
Plus, the prices have increased and my orders take 3x longer to be delivered. Right now, my order was marked as "fulfilled" on 12/22 and USPS says they're still waiting for the package to be dropped off 5 days later.
I get that it's Christmas, but this is why I moved my subscription up by a week.
I hate that I have to find a new protein brand. Ugh.
Hydrolyzed Whey Protein High…
I bought Hydrolyzed Whey Protein High Grade and it arrived in a week or so.
In essence, the product does not meet my expectations. First, in terms of flavor, it tastes like a watered down chocolate drink. Nothing like advertised. Second, it is very difficult to dissolve in water, and worse in milk. The only practical way I found thus far is to prepare the mix the night before with boiling water, stir actively for 10-15 minutes, and even so the resulting drink has residue in it, so it is not pleasant to the palate.
In response, TN asked for photos of both the dry powder and once mixed with water so they can send those, they say, to quality assurance.
Now I am stuck with this with 2 lbs for about a month. Time to go back to Sascha which, although more expensive, always met my expectations.
Too Salty - Chocolate fudge egg white protein powder
I ordered the Trueflavor Chocolate Fudge Brownie Egg White Protein and it was entirely too salty. I asked for a refund or simply a discount promo code to use on another product and they refused. Poor customer service.

Do Not Buy this Product. I got very sick from the vegan Protien. I do not think they are mixing the boosts together.
