The over all experience was good. Caesar would always respond in a timely manner, was patient explain anything I didn't understand. I enjoyed working with him very professional.
The video sent from management was also helpful. It kept my posted, and explained what to expect.

Simple, fast and remote virtual closing. As long as it makes sense its totally doable. Company has a very nice set up to ensure everything is clear and transparent. Even though we closed the reason for the 4 stars is because the loan officer forgot to communicate with my wife and I during the process and towards the end.

Wasn't thrilled with some of the items missed along the way (appraisal/addendums) by Champion, but from Truss perspective, everything was great. Cesar was great to work with and will be working with him and Truss in the future!

This experience was great. My loan officer Hayden and the underwriting team did a super job. The portal showed me every step of the way. I had a unique situation and they solved it.

My rep, Cesar, was just fantastic! Efficient but thorough and with wonderful follow through on all details. The rest of the Truss team involved were also very good and kept me apprised of progress all the way through to closing. All said, it was a surprisingly easy process.

Well where to begin...This was the single worst business transaction ive ever encountered in my entire life. Was told the process would be 3-4 max ended up being close to 8 weeks and thru no fault of mine. Every single (literally ) step of the process was botched by you. I'll list just a few of the many issues we faced
- routinely had calls or emails either not answered or answered a day or two later
-weeks after you had the documents requested from my accountant you inform me my accountant didnt have the required credentials and I had a pay for your accountant to take over and provide the necessary documents. (Why couldnt you have told me this sooner again you had the docs for weeks)
-Our closing date was postponed 3 times due to issues and problems on your end
-I asked for escrow to be removed and THREE times you sent me disclosure documents with escrow on there as if we had never talked about removing it.
-The Cherry on top...on our CLOSING date after multiple mistakes that kept prolonging the process, you inform me that because I was married they had to redo the loan docs to include my husbands signature. Needless to say you had requested my marriage certificate WEEKS before. You had known full well i was married.
-3-4 WEEKS after you had received my insurance declaration page you casually inform me that the policy was not up to the required standards and needed to be cash replacement. Not only did i have to cancel my existing policy but I lost a 750 dollar deposit i had given. I had to get a new policy altogether, again further delaying the process. Perhaps give all the details required on the policy in the beginning of the process not at the end.
These are but a few examples of how badly you handled this process. There are more. I understand the many items required to process a loan, however, I dont understand the fact that every week a new fire was discovered that i had to put out when you had the information in all these instance for weeks. There was zero efficiency nor sense of urgency nor any regard for customer service or satisfaction. It seemed like there was no accountability for anything. Honestly felt like you all were doing this for the first time.
Heres where you really caused me ALOT of harm. My purpose for securing this loan was to buy a business. I had given a deposit and had a firm date to close and pay the balance. I defaulted on that date and lost a very significant portion of my deposit to the tune of $5,000 because i had counted on a 3-4 week process not an 8 week process. Not once did anyone reach out to me to apologize for the NONSTOP errors and delays on your part. I tried so much to remain calm despite my extreme frustration. Ultimately I sent an email with my complaints, which i was fully aware would fall on deaf ears, which it did as mistakes kept happening. Honestly, If i could give negative stars i would. My husband ( who is a well known physician in our community and knows many people) and I will make sure to let everyone we know who is looking for a loan to NOT EVEN THINK about using Truss financial. Honestly you should be ashamed to put a customer thru the anguish you put us thru with this process not to mention the amount of money we lost due to your UTTER INCOMPETENCE.
