Poor quality and customer service

Poor quality and customer service. Lume pip simply fell out of my watch, which you can see from the reviews here and online is a common issue.
AD said it is normal wear and tear and not covered by the guarantee, Tudor has no contact channel to challenge this.

Accurate within 2 second after two months use - amazing for an automatic watch

I bought a TUDOR Pelagos FXD 42mm a couple of months ago and expected a high level of accuracy, but it has gone far beyond anything I anticipated. After two months of wear, it is running just 2 seconds fast, which is extraordinary for an automatic watch.

I’ve owned Rolex Submariners, a Deepsea, and several other brands, but nothing has come close to this level of precision.

I would 100% recommend this model. If the rest of the range performs anywhere near this well, it’s a remarkable achievement.

Pelagos crystal faulty or fake watch

Bought a Pelagos and the crystal scratched with a single week of casual wear. I have had Heuers for 32 years and never managed to scratch a crystal. Kimjys Watches in Oman is still "looking for a solution" - either the watch is fake or the crystal was faulty.
(Bezel is pristine - no signs of misuse)
Poor product, poor service - buy another brand

Absolutely shocking customer service…

Absolutely shocking customer service from Tudor, after sending my watch back to Tudor under warranty via Beaverbrookes (AD), they agree that the luminescent piece missing from the bezel is a replacement under warranty, they now want £260 for a replacement quartz face. The only issue is the small piece that fell out NOT the watch face The warranty is a con and I am now being asked to pay money under duress!!!
Totally Disappointed ☹️

Tudor Pelagos blue

Tudor Pelagos blue comperato nuovo, ritirato con una lettera sul quadrante scrostata, sostituito il quadrante in garanzia.

Dopo 5 anni ha smesso di funzionare e aveva una scheggia bianca all’interno del vetro, riparazione pagata da me. Ho ritirato l’orologio da concessionario Tudor con la corona ammaccata, riportato in riparazione é tornato con evidenti graffi nella cassa, di nuovo riparato a carico di Tudor.

Esperienza negativa, qualità scadente sia dell’orologio che dell’assistenza.

After 2 months owning my silver date…

After 2 months owning my silver date day Royal the date and day suddenly stuck mid change at midnight. I corrected it the next morning and hoped it was just one of those things. It did it again the next day and when I manually moved it around it did it again and again so I took it to the AD and they have sent it off. This is the most expensive watch I’ve ever bought and the first one to go wrong. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement and I wish I’d never bought it, I certainly won’t buy another.

Misleading company state their straps…

Misleading company state their straps are leather but there not , only wear the watch occasionally over last two years and strap is fraying. Going back through the dealership for a replacement was painful , never again buying Tudor

Disappointing

I purchased a Tudor Pelagos 39 from an authorised retailer (Seddiqi, UAE), and unfortunately, the watch developed a major movement issue just weeks after purchase. Escalation to global HQ was passed back to the local retailer which was also frustrating.

While the repair was eventually completed under warranty, the process lacked transparency. Initially, the retailer did not perform a pressure test to the 200m specification, and only corrected this after multiple escalations and involvement from the consumer protection authority.

Even then, I had to request test confirmations in writing, and I was not provided a proper service report until the point of collection. The overall customer experience felt like I was chasing answers, rather than being supported — disappointing when investing in a premium watch brand.

Tudor makes beautiful and technically capable watches, but my experience has shown there is a disconnect between the brand’s values and the service provided by its partners in some markets. I hope Tudor takes steps to improve the global consistency of its after-sales standards

Absolute Katastrophe

Absolute Katastrophe.
Am 5 Dezember meine Tudor Black Bay 58 in 39mm bei einem Juwelier abgeben (bzw.zugesendet,da mein Juwelier bei dem ich die Uhr gekauft habe meinte,es wäre alles im Normbeteich )zu einer Überholung/Revision.Uhr lief 5 sek.ins Minus und Datum sprang mal 8 oder 9 oder 10 min nach 0 Uhr um.Absolutes No Go bei einem Masterchronometer.Und das 4 Monate nach Kauf.Am 9.Dezember wurde die Uhr vom Juwelier zu Tudor gesendet da man vor Ort nichts machen konnte.Dann nach 3 Monaten kam von Tudor die Rückmeldung an den Juwelier das die Uhr von dort in das sogenannte "Haupthaus"von Tudor in die Schweiz gesendet wurde.Wann genau,keine Ahnung.Die Uhr ist jetzt seit 4 Monaten anscheinend nur unterwegs.Das bei einem Wert von fast 4600Euro. Was soll man dazu noch sagen??
Arbeitet man bei Tudor überhaupt?
Ist die Uhr verloren gegangen?
In 4 Monaten hat sich keiner der Uhr angenommen?
Sollte es jetzt noch länger dauern,wird sich mal mein Anwalt mit der Angelegenheit befassen.
Danke Tudor für Nichts.
Nur zum Verständnis der Juwelier dem ich die Uhr zugesendet habe ist wirklich nett,zuvorkommend und absolut weiter zu empfehlen. Es liegt allein an Tudor.

Vielen Dank Ihnen für die wirklich äußerst engagierte Beratung und Betreuung. Frau Kinik hat sich immer prompt und freundlich um meine Anliegen gekümmert. Ich bin mit meiner Wahl eines der in meinen Augen derzeit wertigsten Chronographen zu seinem Preis am Weltmarkt, der aktuellen Boutique-Edition des Black Bay-Modells mit blauem Zifferblatt und fünfreihigen Gliederband mit T-Fit-Schließe, äußerst zufrieden!
Kurzum: Super Service, Wahnsinns-Armbanduhr und ein tolles Kauferlebnis!

They sold me a used watch

I bought a brand new black bay from authorized dealer (Permun Saat) of the Tudor in Turkey . But when watch arrived ı relised that watch was a used watch. The watch had so many scratches. I informed the dealer and the Tudor global about the problem. They told me this kind of problems sometimes can happen. They told me they can take the watch and polish it. I did not accept it. Because i did not want a used and polished watch. I asked them for to change my watch. The dealer told me they do not have the watch and even if ı told them that ı can wait even couple of months they refunded my money without my will. One day after Tudor Global sended me an e mail and told me they can change the watch. All the process was so amateure. They sold me a used watch and was not even kind enough to offer me any other solution. Long stroy short ; They sold me a used watch, wanted to repair it, then refund my money, after they refund my money they wanted to change it. It was like a joke. Be carefull when you buy watch from this brand. You will not feel like you are dealing with a luxery brand if you have a problem with them.

Fragile and expensive

My Tudor Pelagos is a handsome divers watch and looks robust in its titanium shell. Unfortunately it has suffered a detached bezel, a slipping rotor, and most recently a fractured dial post, all from normal daily wear....repairs have exceeded £1000. Its robust appearance is an illusion...it is fragile. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed, my watch going fast for 2 years now and despite following instructions from the store and sending for repair the problem is still unresolved. 3 times the watch needs to be send out for repair before they decide to replace it. All I want is a different watch!

Black Bay Chrono

Black Bay Chrono - Leather strap failure
After 18 months of occasional wear the leather connection to the clasp failed and snapped while wearing the watch. Luckily, I had a secure cuff jacket on and the watch was not lost.
Returned the watch to Tudor dealership who returned the watch to Tudor. Tudor stated that the strap was not covered on warranty and I had to pay for a new one - in excess of £600 !
I appealed for them to be reasonable as a returning customer (2 Tudors in family) but this fell on deaf ears.
The staff in the shop informed me that I was not the first to have this problem.
It is blatantly obvious that the strap design/material is flawed.
They informed me that they have fed this back to Tudor on several occasions but they are not listening.
I declined a new leather strap (the same would undoubtedly happen) and reluctantly paid for a steel bracelet - in excess of £750!
Appears to be a money maker for Tudor!
Very poor customer service from Tudor.

Took advantage of the market hype ?

They've spent the last 4 years taking advantage of the market hype and the international lockdown.
Now the market has tanked there trying to maintain a smoke and mirrors policy of keeping the prices high.
As I understand it the policy of not wanting Tudor to be known as a discounted brand by certain appropriates sitting in the ivory towers appears now very short-sighted.
Your authorised dealers appear to be struggling to sell the stuff.
The prices went way to high.
Tudor should wake up and start smelling the coffee and the roses ?
It didn't last for long did it ?

Tudor’s dishonest invalidation of warranty

The short version of this is that I have truly fallen out of love with my Tudor because they firm has behaved with ignorance and dishonesty after their quality control issues caused an important component failure.

I was so enamoured by my Black Bay 58 it only came out for special occasions and led a very gentle life, despite being designed for rugged use.
Then one day it suddenly fell off my wrist after a link pin fell out of the steel bracelet (the bracelet is meant to be an item covered by warranty)! On impact from only 1m, the came off, bezel ring came out and the bezel incurred a large dent.
I returned it to the dealer; since the who sent it to Tudor.
Tudor’s response was ignorant. The said the repair was fully payable by me, and said this was because Im the watch suffered damage that thereby invalidated the entire warranty!!
They’ve ignore that the accident was caused by a warrantied component failure!! How cheeky and stupid, it’s beyond believe that they think they can get away with it.
User's recommendation: Avoid Tudor if you want a valid warranty!
