Like most I wish I read the reviews before I hired a car from these people went to Ibiza beginning of May hired a car for three days paid extra to take it back to the airport plus the fee for the car parking got back to England looked at the terms and conditions can take up to 30 days to get a refund so okay, no problem until we get to today when I’m thinking it’s been nearly 5 weeks now should’ve had a refund anyway long story short no apparently we damaged the interior. They had to extra clean it bearing in mind we hardly use this car probably done 20 miles in it the whole time we was in Ibiza for three days majority of that was going to the airport my only advice take pictures and make sure that everything is documented and do not take it to the airport make sure you deliver it back to a shop. Would definitely never recommend this company to anybody after reading the reviews even more so.

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und werden definitiv wieder bei Turbo Rent ein Auto mieten. Hier unsere Erfahrungen im Detail:

Turbo Rent am Flughafen Ibiza

Positiv (5 Sterne):

Hervorragender Service vor Ort: Ein ganz grosses Lob an die einzige Mitarbeiterin, die bereits 10 Minuten vor Öffnung (um 07:50 Uhr) am Standort war. Sie hat auch den Shuttlebus gefahren und es ist allein ihrem tatkräftigen Einsatz zu verdanken, dass die vielen wartenden Kunden bereits um 08:08 Uhr am Flughafen waren! Top Leistung!

Preis-Leistung: Absolut fair und unschlagbar.

Kaution: Die Rückzahlung erfolgte blitzschnell bereits am nächsten Tag.

Kritikpunkte (Abzug beim Service):

Telefonische Erreichbarkeit: Ruft man unter der am Standort angegebenen Nummer an, ertönt eine Bandansage, dass Turbo Rent erst ab 09:00 Uhr erreichbar sei – das gleiche Spiel bei zwei weiteren offiziellen Nummern. Das hat bei den über ein Dutzend wartenden Kunden erst einmal für grossen Schrecken gesorgt. Zum Glück hat die top Mitarbeiterin das dann vor Ort gerettet.

Verhalten der männlichen Mitarbeiter: Hier sollte dringend an den Grundregeln geschult werden. Für wartende Kunden gilt: Die Person, die bereits im Raum steht, hat immer Priorität vor dem Telefon.

Tankregelung: Bei der Übernahme war der Tank nur zu 1/3 voll, obwohl vertraglich „voll/voll“ vereinbart war. Es wurde vor Ort aber immerhin korrekt dokumentiert.

Fazit: Trotz der Abzüge beim Telefon und dem Tank ein empfehlenswerter Anbieter mit einer grandiosen Mitarbeiterin im morgendlichen Einsatz!

Alquile un coche en el aeropuerto, todo bien, devolví el coche en la oficina me devolvieron el depósito y me llevaron a la terminal del aeropuerto

Rented a car here for a family trip and had a really great experience. We got a Nissan X-Trail for 4 days with the Premium insurance, which honestly gave us a lot of peace of mind.

At one point we had a small bump, and we were a bit worried about the deposit… but everything turned out perfectly. When we returned the car, there were no issues at all and we got the full deposit back without any hassle.

Also, the staff were super friendly and understanding the whole time, which made a big difference.

Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a smooth and stress-free rental.

Alquilé un coche con Turbo Rent a Car en Ibiza y la experiencia fue muy buena de principio a fin. El proceso de reserva fue sencillo, el vehículo estaba en perfectas condiciones y el trato del personal fue amable y profesional.

Uno de los aspectos que más valoro es que no tuve ningún problema con la devolución del depósito. Todo fue transparente y rápido, tal y como se indicaba desde el principio, lo cual da mucha tranquilidad.

Sin duda, repetiría con ellos en mi próxima visita a la isla.

Estuvimos en Ibiza con mi pareja y alquilamos un coche con esta empresa, la verdad es que todo fue genial, nos devolvieron el deposito a los pocos días de devolver el coche y el chico que nos atendió fue muy majo. Repetiremos seguro.

Really regret not looking at the reviews before using their service.

Rented moped for less than 12 hours. No problems aside from expected wear and tear. They falsely claimed I damaged the tyre from a puncture via email after they took a further €50 out of my account and refused to return the deposit.
Complete con artists, do not use.

Timadores mentirosos. Entregué el coche en perfectas condiciones y cuando me fui dentro a q me devolverian mi fianza me viene la tía con la maneta en la mano diciendo q he roto la maneta. Para su grata sorpresa contraté con seguro por otra experiencia similar. Lo tengo ya pelao en Ibiza con estas cosas... Se autoenfado porq le salió el tiro por la culata. Echaba humo por las orejas. Contratar seguro si cogéis aquí coche porq te la hacen seguro . La lista de turno. Está te la comes con papas maja

We agreed a price and there was payed a coverage of €100. But they will refund it when the scooter is returned. When returning the scooter, the staf members confirmed everything was ok and that they will refund my money.

Few days back in Belgium and they only refund €70 (€30 less then agreed),
As a returning customer, it will be my last time with turbo!

Do not book!!!!! We gave a weeks notice for not being able to go ahead with our car hire due to circumstances out of our control. They refused a refund via email after confirming that they could refund on the phone. Terrible customer service and no flexibility for circumstances out of our control.

The price you pay isn't final! They will try to invent what to charge you for! Above all, people working there are very rude! Especially females ! For us they said that the seats are wet and have salt which was absolute false - always changed in dry and clean clothes before getting into the car when using the car after the beach ! Besides we lost an hour because the petrol lid wasn't working and we had to go back to their office since the helpline was totally useless! Disaster service! Avoid at all costs and inform others!

Everything was fine but the manager was rude to me and very rude to my girlfriend in the and because we had like half a liter to less in the fueltank. And he was very unflexible with the optiones to choose either pay 30€ or go and refuel the car! Be aware!

Never rent a car !
They never give your deposit back!
They always find a way to avoid giving it back.

Het bedrijf houdt zich bezig met oneerlijke praktijken en informeert klanten niet goed. Nergens is vermeld dat de auto met een volledige tank geretourneerd moet worden. Bij het terugbrengen van de auto werd 38 EURO aan kosten gerekend terwijl er voor maximaal 10 EURO aan benzine in kon. Toen ik vermelde dat dit niet gecommuniceerd is dat wijzelf de tank moesten vullen kreeg ik als antwoord: Je hoeft niet naar Ibiza te komen he.

Terwijl dit jaar Ibiza al 50% minder toeristen heeft. Blijf ver van deze partij. Er komen veel verborgen kosten bij zoals het inleveren bij een ander filiaal van 25 EURO, tankkosten, extra verzekering en anders moet je 1000 EURO borg achterlaten voor een of ander klein autotje.

E’ andato tutto benissimo, precisi,economici e molto disponibili… consigliatissimo!!!

Scammers, absolutely horrific, avoid at all cost

When I picked it up the key fob didn't work (we had to go out of our way to return it and get it fixed which used quite a bit of petrol) and there were a few minor scratches and stains that were not recorded, no-one came with me to look around the vehicle to verify these so I sent the pictures as soon as we noticed them, with a comment about the key fob.
This morning I returned the vehicle and was confronted with a very rude young man who proceeded to tell me that the petrol gauge was one section shorter than when I picked it up (according to his photograph). He then said I could put more petrol in or pay €18 off my €200 deposit.
I didn't agree with him and asked why this wasn't made clear at the beginning of the rental period. I then went to the petrol station and put another €10 of petrol in. Upon my return he checked again and deducted €18 off the deposit without further explanation, like I was a naughty school boy.
I have owned cars for many years and rented from companies all over the world and have never been treated so rudely before. When asking a modern petrol gauge to measure between the digital sections it is very inaccurate. You can sometimes even fill the tank up and it still won't show as full.
The policy everywhere else when renting is full or empty out, full or empty back not a random photograph of a petrol gauge somewhere in-between which is not even shown to the client before leaving with the vehicle.
All this was very distressing and embarrassing when conducted in front of a room of queuing customers and all the employee does is shrug his shoulders and say "I told you".
The matter was very badly handled and a breach of car rental contract.
Please don't risk your head earned money with these cowboys. Take lots of photographs as soon as you get the vehicle and don't forget to take one of the petrol gauge. They will use the slightest excuse to fleece your deposit from you.
If they are that short of money why don't they do what all businesses do, increase prices while maintaining good customer service.

I stronly reccomend not to use Turbo rent as they do not turn back the deposit. When I delivery the car, they told me that the refund of the deposit would have been sent in few days, but after a week they do not send back the deposit. I call them and told me that the car was damaged (i had full insurance) and for this reason the deposit was retained by them. I kindly asked them evidence of the damage but they reply that any photos or videos are their property.
Long story short, they keep the refund because of a damage that they do not want to show me.
For this reason, I advice you to avoid using Tuborent.
