Rooted in a deep love for Yorkshire yet transcending geographical boundaries, the Two Lasses aim to shatter the clichés surrounding rum – no more pirates and sailors – with our exquisitely smooth rum and delightfully twisted liqueurs. These independent and empowered women are redefining rum, breaking free from tired stereotypes and creating exceptional spirits that speak volumes. As a start-up business, we wanted to forge our own path and differentiate ourselves from other brands. We take pride in our British heritage and felt it was crucial to champion British rum. Thus, we embarked on launching the first-ever British rum brand founded by two women. For the Two Lasses, it's paramount that every step of fermenting and distilling begins from scratch, right here in England. Like most rums, Two Lasses Rum is crafted from sugarcane molasses. In collaboration with our Master Distiller, we import 100% sugarcane molasses to create our own distinct spirit, rejecting the practice of importing pre-distilled liquid from the Caribbean or elsewhere. The imported molasses undergo fermentation and then pass through a super-premium triple distillation process using traditional copper pot stills. From the initial 200 litres of liquid used, only 25 litres achieve the desired richness and full flavour that characterise our satisfyingly warm rum.

The Yorkshire Spiced Rum is the best rum we’ve tasted. So smooth, mix it with Ginger Beer for a long drink or have it neat as a warming tot. Tastes like liquid Parkin. The Pineapple Rum is also fabulous, great for a long summery drink. We also love the rum liqueur. Highly recommend this company.

Even with the over payment charge on the postage. You dealt with it straight away and refunded it.These things happen. Your Rum is superb, my husband is a massive fan and thinks it's the best he's had.

New to rum and wanted to support a…
New to rum and wanted to support a independent company. Have to say I am very happy with the product and will happily order more. Whilst it maybe expensive in comparison to supermarket brands, the taste is exceptional.

Huge fan of Two Lasses Rums
I am a huge fan of good quality rum and I now have in my collection bottles of both the old and new recipe spiced rums, Yorkshire spiced rum liqueur, chocolate & orange rum, darker spiced rum and the pure double barrel. I can also recommend both the banana rum and pineapple rum having tried sizeable samples. Pleasantly surprised to find these two rums have good flavour without the sickly cloying sweetness which usually accompanies fruit flavoured rums and thankfully none of that awful artificial flavouring either. Keep up the good work Two Lasses and very much look forward to trying more of your excellent products.

Great Yorkshire drink
Bought my first bottle in 2024, but didn’t open until March 3025. Whow, the taste was superb. So vibrant and soothing!!! So have now ordered another bottle.

All 3 rums I have brought from Two Lasses are great.
To top that off the customer service is excellent. They reply very quickly and do everything they can to help out, I would go as far as the best customer service I have come across.
I would highly recommend the Yorkshire Spiced Rum (original recipe) it is amazing. The Dark Spiced Rum and Yorkshire Spiced Rum (new recipe) are also both very good.
