Very pleased with the service. Tyres arrived quickly. Only dropped 1 star as communication wasn’t great when I asked for an expedited delivery date / time.

Ok, I put in an order for two 205/40 R18 W tyres for my little Smart Car on the 11th Feb 26, approximately £170 for the pair, the following morning, two tyres turn up, my wife took delivery in my absence, I get home, wrong tyres, they sent out two Pirelli P7 Cinturato 255/ 40 R18 Y Run Flats, over £200 each (£400), I contacted them, their response is this:
"Dear customer,
Unfortunately, for logistical reasons, we are unable to send you a replacement from the same warehouse from which the original order was shipped.

We kindly encourage you to place another order if stock is available.

You may return the merchandise to us only if it has not been fitted and/or used. The depot reserves the right to refuse the merchandise if the return conditions have not been met.

CHOOSE A RETURN METHOD:

1/ We can arrange a pickup of the merchandise. The return costs are estimated at 25£ including VAT per tyre (subject to confirmation by the carrier) which will be deducted at the time of refund. If the carrier requests a higher price due to the pickup area and/or the nature of the merchandise to be returned, we will communicate the new price to you. You will then have the option to reconfirm that you wish to proceed with the return through our services by agreeing to the new price.

OR

2/ Return the merchandise at your own expense via the carrier of your choice. If you choose this option, please inform us so that we can provide you with the appropriate return address.

They expect me to pay £50 to return two tyres that their chimpanzees have wrongly picked, packed and posted.

This is no level of cutomer service at all, I am now stuck with two tyres that are no good to me, or am I? E-Bay is a fine medium, I win whatever.

Please do not expect to get what you need from, Tyreleader.co.uk, quite frankly they couldn't give a flying duck!

Always use Tyreleader, sometimes have some really good deals, and generally prices are the cheapest of all the tyre suppliers. Only ever had one issue in 10 years of using them, with 2 of the 4 tyres not turning up

Delivery was fairly quick.

At first the price looks attractive but it’s not clear that this doesn’t include fitting (unlike black circles) and that this charge is per tyre. Asked to cancel my order of 4 tyres immediately after ordering, which was agreed but Tyreleader decided to treat as 2 separate orders and only cancelled one. Hard to contact, no phone number and WhatsApp and messenger all direct you to raise a ticket.

17/2/25. Still waiting for refund. Lack of direct communications channels such as telephone or chat means they only look at your support ticket once a day and I’m not sure they really comprehend the content as points or even whole messages remain unanswered or ignored. Oh and they want £50 to collect the tyres they shipped after I cancelled my order. I had to collect these from the fitting centre and bring them home and package them up for collection.

26/2/2026. A ridiculous 4 week wait for a refund. Be warned.
