Our Plantsurance program is designed to give customers confidence and support if a plant does not survive. If a plant fails within one year of delivery, customers may submit a Plantsurance claim for review. Once verified, Ty Ty Nursery issues store credit for the original purchase price of the plant, including any promotional or sale pricing at the time of purchase. This store credit can be used toward future orders of trees, plants, or other nursery products on our website. Plantsurance store credit allows customers the flexibility to reorder the same plant or choose a different variety that may be better suited to their growing conditions. Both of my $500 mule palms came with…
Both of my $500 mule palms came with all their new, longest growth broken just to be able to fit them into their shipping boxes. They look absolutely terrible. Fronds are now broken and browning. Not the treatment that you would expect for such expensive trees. I've sent several messages and have been 100% ignored by tyty nurseries. My review on their website of course was not published. Only 4-5* seem to be able to make it on. Not happy with this company. A big fat 0 for customer service.

Very pleased with trees and customer service
I recently received several trees from TyTyGa.com that were of excellent quality. I considered giving them a 4-star rating, because there was a minor hiccup of one of the trees not being delivered as shown on the packing list. However, when I called their customer service, they were friendly and quick to make things right. I received the missing tree within one week. This last tree was delivered in excellent condition. I am very pleased with the overall experience with TyTyGa.com and would buy from them again.

We bought 6 trees. 5 were great but 1 Eastern Redbud was dead and tossed. Hope to hear back from Tyty on either a refund or replacement?

Very disappointed in my order
Very disappointed in my order. I ordered a Black Walnut tree, a Shag Bark Hickory tree and a Kazma Pecan tree. The Black Walnut tree that I received was about 6 feet tall and growing like a "U". This is definitely a tree I would never have picked out if I bought a tree from a local nursery. I can't believe Ty Ty Nursery would even send a tree like that to someone. Also, I was very disappointed when my trees arrived and they were bare roots. I was expecting trees in gallon buckets. It was so much harder to plant a bare root tree. I had to get them in the ground immediately and dig a much bigger hole than planting a tree in a .gallon bucket. The other thing that TyTy Nursery ripped me on was shipping. I paid for shipping of three trees but they were all sent jammed in the same box. Why not charge me for the shipping of one tree? I definitely would not buy from this company again. It was a pretty disappointing experience. I'm not even sure if the trees are alive...none of them have leaves or buds

That said, we have gone ahead and issued a full refund for the Black Walnut tree as a goodwill gesture.
Regarding your concerns, our trees are shipped bareroot during their dormant season (typically December through May). This is clearly stated on every product page so customers know what to expect. Bareroot trees do not have leaves or buds at the time of arrival and often require immediate planting, but this method helps ensure better transplant success and healthier root establishment.
In terms of shipping, we consolidate plants into one box to protect the roots and reduce stress during transit, which is also disclosed on our product pages. The shipping charge reflects carrier rates, and in this case, we actually lost $3.12 on the UPS rate alone compared to what we charged—this does not even include the cost of the box, packing materials, and labor.
We do take customer satisfaction seriously and are always here to help if you have questions about planting, care, or next steps to ensure your trees establish and thrive.

The customer service person I spoke with over the phone was pleasant and highly knowledgeable. My dormant Black Tartarian cherry tree arrived at the proper time this Spring and right now is showing signs of waking up. Definitely a quality tree. Thanks again.

This place is a joke and the people operating it are nothing short of crooks. They will only post the positive reviews. I will be contacting the BBB and my attorneys to file a claim in small claims court for the cost of my order plus the time involved in trying to reach them once they blocked my profiles.

Dead vines dead service
Both of my grape vines I purchased didn’t survive a year. Customer service is horrific. No one responds to emails, I even called to speak to someone who gased me up, she told me she was going to send me an email so I could send her pictures of my dead vines. Never recieved an email. Cost me around $50 to know that I’ll never ship TyTy again
