Perfect experience! I ordered three pairs of boots for sizing (I had sent an email asking for advice and ignored that, but Mammut were spot on!). I returned all of them and ordered another pair. My return to the centre was no problem at all - yes you CAN have proof of receipt. Check with your postoffice, it does work without a postcode, Postmasters just aren't used to it so calling their head office for advice takes a minute). I had the best customer service via email when I asked about returns because the printed label looked sparse with no postcode (fear not, it gets there!). I received Confirmation of receipt of my goods one day after the goods were conveniently collected from my home and my refund arrived 72 hours after posting.
And finally, best boots ever in my fourty years of hiking. Ducan High is the model I chose. Like a glove on first day, super light, very grippy on mud and hills and even look fab.

If you’re certain that the size and product you are ordering is exactly what you want then I have no issues however the returns process is completely useless. Item is just sent to a free post address with no option to track and four weeks later and three phone calls to mammut I am just told to wait as they haven’t received my return yet. What makes the returns process worse is there are no options to exchange therefore I purchased the item again and now I am £100 out of pocket waiting on my refund with no clear resolution. Call centre staff incredibly unhelpful. It’s not like we’re just dealing with a cheap product here, it’s an investment and now I’m double the amount down. Mammut products are fab but I won’t be dealing with them direct in the future

Rather than suggest a solution such as a free return she wanted to argue about how it's not the companies issue they don't allow online cancellation and don't read emails.

Having just received my husbands Mammut Roseg 3-1 Hooded Parka I was disappointed, it was less of a parka but more of a jacket>>be aware!!..my 2nd complaint and of more importance to me, is this Swiss-made garment was really made in the sweatshops of Bangladesh, and because of the Swiss-Made deceit, I would never buy a Mammut product again.25/2/2021

Awful customer service.

Ordered shoes in December. Never arrived. Complained and they said they would refund.

3 weeks later, no refund and they finally arrive!

Sent them back and now been told I may have to wait for 3-4 weeks for my return to be processed!!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Love this brand. Called up for some gear advice and the team were really helpful and gave great service.

Purchased boots £135 GTX walking boots in early 2019 initially very comfortable and followed guidelines and treated them with waterproofing - I use them to walk the dog Morning and evening and it can be through wet grass - they split returned them to be inspected and they claim that they hadn’t been treated correctly / the fit had caused the leather to split -absolutely fuming - if I’d wanted a cheap pair with no guarantee I’d have purchased other brands- don’t waste your money and buy a pair of of boots where the manufacturer will honour any warranty!!!

Very interested to see the high percentage of 1 star reviews of Mammut on Trust Pilot I only wished that I had read these before purchasing a pair of Mammut Ducan Low GTX Hiking Boots. Purchased in late April and having only been used for walking around rural Nottinghamshire, mostly on grass paths or tracks, both boots had by early October, started to come apart at the seam where soles meet uppers. Three weeks ago having paid £4 to send the boots off for inspection to check that they have not been subject to "excessive wear and tear", these boots were only 5 months old, I have still not had any response. As someone who has led an active life, running, cycling, hill walking and climbing I have never before experienced such a basic failure of footwear after so short a period of use.

I purchase a new hardshell winter jacket direct from Mammut, as despite extensive searching I couldn't find the one I wanted anywhere else any cheaper.
The product arrived quickly, and in good condition. It's very well designed and built, and looks to be a high quality jacket that - hopefully - will last years.
They're not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and I do think the quality holds up.

Quick delivery, beautifully packaged so a real treat to receive. Easy to return the item that didn't fit.

If you want to buy Mammut's products, which are generally good, if a little overpriced, don't do it from their website! I bought a £70 backback which I tried on a short run but found that it caught on my headphones - after explaining they refused to accept the return as I had taken the bag outside (for a total of about 2 minutes). Easier just to buy indirectly, which is slightly ridiculous to say!

I bought a Mammut Convey tour Hs jacket in 2018,i only wore it a few times in a year and found water was getting through. I was very disappointed as it was an expensive Mammut jacket with goretex. I contacted goretex who were great who then got a replacement sent from mammut Goretex told me it had failed the test's. Received the replacement which was an updated version and again water was coming through,after first use. Decided to go through Mammut this time and they did refund me the original purchase price but took about six weeks.I payed £190 for this jacket and was expecting a lot more.

Bought a pair of runbold light pants through a mammut outlet , wore a few times and the waist clip broke, mammut said send back to repair replace as per warranty they have been gone a month mammut are very unhelpful rubbish at communication and the product is crap do yourself a favour expensive is always best not in this case where are my goods mammut

Purchased a pair of Mammut boots from Go Outdoors for £140. Within 6 months the boots sole was warn with crack the let water in. Go Outdoors returned them Mammut. A couple of weeks later they were returned to me via Go Outdoors. Apparently Mammut just said they were over used. I’d expect to be able wear them every day for 24hrs and still last longer then 6 months for £140.

I have never purchased another Mammut product I also tells others to avoid as the quality is appalling.
