Having become a signatory for an account I had struggled to log on for the first time. I rang for assistance and whilst the process was lengthy, the operator was helpful and patient whilst we worked through the process, with successful logon at the end.

I needed to register and login to our account for the first time. The customer service rep Jai was brilliant. Patient, professional, helping me step by step through the process. Which by necessity is a bit long-winded, needing to check and verify details. But within 20 minutes I was up and running and able to access our account. I look forward to being a Unity bank customer. Wanted to set up my online banking with unity bank . Spoke to a most calm and caring person in Jai Rajput. He dealt with my setting up and logging in for online banking , in a most calm and caring way . He had a lot of patient with me , as my setting up was not straight forward .

I must admit I was having real problems with accessing my account, necessitating several calls and requests for yet another password .... the phone was always answered quickly however - rare! I appreciate the problem was with me and the fact that banks have to be SO careful nowadays. I had trouble logging in to online banking for the first time.
But Abby Corbett made the whole experience a lot easier, she was calm, knowledgeable and reassuring throughout the whole process, with the patience of a saint.
She even stayed online to make sure I was able to login without her help.

terrible communications
I applied for a bank account for a voluntary organisation. It took 3-4 hours of work to collate all the information required and it appeared all criteria were met and in line with the banks ethos. Application was rejected via a very short email with no reasons given. Called Customer Service who were equally not willing to give any explanation. Wasted my time and very frustrating.
Fast, secure, efficient, friendly
I got stuck with logging on for the first time - the help was fast, secure, efficient and really friendly. Much better than I've ever had with a bank. Thank you so much. You made this so easy!
Sadly, customer service is declining
I've administrated a business account with Unity Trust for more than 10 years. Unfortunately over this period of time I have experienced a decline in their customer service. Whereas in the early days it was easy to get through to a customer service advisor, I've just waited on hold for over 30 minutes, before giving up. Unfortunately this has become all too typical of my attempts to reach them.
Great customer service
I called with a query regarding an encashment facility for our not for profit community group. I spoke to a lovely female, very helpful, who put me at ease and also alerted me to something I needed that I hadn't realised.
Very helpful, and probably the best banking phone customer service I have received.
I have contacted them previously and they were equally helpful.
Delays in getting replies and waiting on phone for ages
I didn't hear back from an email (waiting a week) and then had to wait more than 40 minutes on a phone call
