UPCS.com has cost me thousands of dollars because they lied about being able to use their UPC on Amazon.

I bought a UPC from UPCs.com after their website promised that their barcodes can be used for products on Amazon. After placing the barcode on hundreds of units of products as part of the printed labels and box artwork, the new product was denied by Amazon because the barcode's GS1 registration showed UPCs.com's company name ("Business Services, Inc.") rather than my company name.

I contacted UPCs.com to ask for help, but they just sent me some help article about how their company name will appear in the GS1 instead of mine. There is nothing I can do to sell this product on Amazon now with this barcode. UPCs.com LIED to the public on their website when they claimed that their UPCs can be used on Amazon. They CANNOT be used on Amazon. This lie will cost me thousands of dollars to fix. As of the time of this review, UPCs.com is STILL lying to the public about being able to use their barcodes on Amazon.

I am not a big enough company to sue these guys, but I hope someone big enough comes along to stop this scam. UPCs.com made $10 off of me with their deception, but this lie will cost me thousands of dollars to fix. NEVER try to use UPCs.com for an Amazon product!

Do NOT believe them when they say you can sell on Amazon with their UPC's. They are lying. They will lie right to your face to make the sale and then GHOST you when you come back to them for help. My Amazon product was denied because of a non-GS1 listed UPC. UPCs.com offered NOTHING in response to my inquiries other than a link to some useless "Help Article" on their website with further lies. They. Are. Lying.

No problems passing verification on Amazon. That was my biggest fear.
