Awful business. Unprofessional, rude and incompetent. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Criminals disguised as 'estate agents'. Avoid like the plague. Just look online at all of the negative reviews...

When I lived in a property they were in charge of, they left me with a leaking roof and broken taps for months. Every time I brought it up, I was told either someone would look into it or that other issues had to be resolved first. I wasn't sorted the entire time I lived in that flat. Now I have moved out, I am trying to get my deposit back and they are just completely ignoring me. I've been moved out for 2 months. I've gone into the shop and have been fobbed off and told the person dealing with it is busy and she'll call me back but I haven't heard back once. I have been emailing and now aren't even getting responses to that. The website I've been told to use says it doesn't even have my deposit. Absolutely terrible service.

This agency has taken my deposit and not registered it with a deposit scheme. They have not responded to any emails and do not answer the phone, the office is permanently locked. Whilst I was a tenant with them they took the landlords money and never paid him his rent or carried out work on the property as promised. Currently now a legal matter but I believe they have scammed 100's of people

AVOID THIS AGENCY IN GRAVESEND! THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THIEVES! THEY ARE NOT EVEN REGISTERED TO ANY LETTING ASSOCIATION!

Effective as of yesterday Urban Estates were removed from the Property redress scheme due to non compliance with their complaints process. Urban Estates withhold money and do not pass on payments due from tenants. They are evasive when questioned and asked to resolve complaints. They palm off non payments to their accountants which they name and shame and blame them that payments cannot leave their accounts. Please do not use these. I will also report on rightmove. They are no longer practising lawfully.

Communication is a word that hasn’t found its way into their vocab. Took 2 months to get my deposit back after being promised that the payment has been made each time I was lucky enough to reach their office. If they promise to call you back, don’t believe them, good luck trying to get an answer to any email. Worst estate agent, wish someone had warned me before signing the lease.

Would highly NOT RECOMMEND them. I am very surprised that they are allowed to get away with their level on incompetence, dishonesty, disrespect for customers, non-chalance, lack of communication skills, unprofessionalism, unfriendliness and down-right inefficiency. Completely unfit for purpose since Jodie Eastwood, Sophie and Lyn left. The staff left and the owner, his wife and two children, all of whom are rather arrogant and ignorant. The office should be closed. Been their customer for a while but since it became a family affair, it has gone completely downhill

They are criminals disguised as estate agents.

Greedy and lacking of management

We had some problems negotiating our tenancy extension which took longer than expected (causing a fair amount of stress) but Urban did negotiate a deal we were very happy with. The paperwork needs to be dealt with without the delay as when it was completed the stress eased.

The staff are always pleasant to deal with and help as much as they can when there is a maintenance issue.

Really unprofessional, with returning your call.
I was dealing with the Gravesend branch, which was great until my advisor went sick. I put in a offer three weeks ago (04.10.21 today being the 29.10.21) & haven’t heard a thing back from the office. I then got passed on to some guy, then another colleague …who has received multiple messages to give me a call to discuss what’s going on? An absolute joke, will take my money elsewhere!

Excellent service from urban estates, I sold my house through these agents and I would highly recommend them, my personal agent was a lovely lady called Jodie, who couldn’t be more helpful, there was always someone in their office to answer any queries or problems that arose, very professional, would definitely use these agents again.
