I was skeptical about the mushroom…

I was skeptical about the mushroom coffee but I tried it while trying to cut back on caffeine. Tastes smoother than standard coffee, less acidic. Good product, I think my focus is increased but not sure how much of it is placebo. Would only buy again if it’s on sale or part of a bundle.

This is a trickster website. They auto set you up with a subscription without your consent. Then they act like they are responsive when you complain, but STILL charge you after saying you have cancelled a subscription you never knew you had. They must be desperate! It’s bad biz

Customer Service is Abysmal

Leaving a review here since this company somehow has two trust pilot profiles. They’ve gone so terribly downhill that it actually makes me sad. I’ve been subscribing to a few products for years and it used to be amazing - good discount for subscribing, a heads up email well before shipping so you could cancel/edit/etc, freebies in your orders, and so on. First, the freebies stopped. Then, the heads up emails stopped, resulting in a couple orders I didn’t want/need but of course had to pay for. The thing that finally led me to leaving this review is that I asked them to cancel an order that was going to ship and I included the order number in the request. They pretended they needed to know which order so they could sit on the request until the order shipped (again, they had the associated order number. They were being intentionally obtuse because they knew there wasn’t much time between when I reached out and when the order would fulfill).

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They keep sending me CALM and charging my card for a product I do not want and telling me to go into my account and cancel the subscription but there is none listed in my account to cancel. This company is ripping me off and cealry I am not the only one.Its a shame becasue the product is good but they are dishonest... are committing fraud... and there is no way to communicate with them so I have to block charges.

Terrible customer service

Like the variety of coffees, but the customer service is terrible! They may need to invest in a few more humans... and there are much better chatBOTs that could help. The experience is so bad, I might just stick with CUPPA.

I tried the coffee and it was ok but after the promotional offer I was surprised to find out that somehow I was subscribed to a monthly shipment costing $45 per month.
I had to have Pay Pal cancel recurring payments and after trying to reach four sigmatic using two listed phone numbers that didn’t work and many emails they finally refunded and cancelled the “subscription “.
Don’t do business with these bad actors.

Don't sign up for a free sample. It.s a trick/scam.

I signed up for a free sample/just pay shipping & somehow was entered into a monthly subscription for the product. I was able to cancel the subscription, I think, but will have to see. I didn't even set up an account with them, but they were still able to set up the recurring monthly shipment & charge to my payment method.

Terrible Customer Service and Shady Business Practices

I have ordered a ton of coffee from Four Sigmatic simply because I do truly love their coffee, but I've finally hit my limit with them. First, they have the most inaccessible, unaccommodating customer service. They don't list a phone number to call, they make you text/email, and they might get back to you in 5-7 days, so forget about any "emergent," real-time customer service. Once you do get a hold of someone, they do not offer any solutions.

Then there's their shady business practices. To cancel a subscription, they make you go through five "are you sure?" windows before actually cancelling your subscription. So, many times, I believe I've cancelled my subscription, but I actually haven't (according to them) because of not fully completing the ridiculous number of "are you sure?" subsequent windows.

They also don't give you a heads up that your subscription is about to be charged; they just ship it out. Of course, this is not "illegal," but it is a little shady, especially when you believe you've already canceled your subscription. Most companies these days offer this curtesy, and it's simply a best practice policy that should be in place.

The biggest kicker is that they have consistently charged me a higher price for my coffee subscription than what is the listed price in my subscription. This is not just shady, it's WRONG. You can't tell a customer their product is one price and them charge them a higher price when you run their card!

Bottom line, it's a shady company that likes to play games. Done with them.

Poor customer service

Cannot speak to a person and email responses are generic AI. Charged me when I cancelled my subscription. Bombarded with coupons that make products cheaper than when you have a subscription, referred a friend and didn’t receive $10, cannot get a response.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. I have ordered over $600 worth off Four Sigmatic products over the last couple of years. This last subscription order I placed on Black Friday was canceled by you, for fraud. It was not fraud, I emailed to say it wasn't fraud and to please re-place the order. I got an email saying she could not and I would get a refund. No mention of that I could re-order and be given the same discount, so I emailed back and asked for the same discount because you mistakenly canceled my order. Got an email back saying that it wasn't their fault and that no I could not get the same discount. What horrible customer service, I will never give my money to your company again. I can't believe you are still in business if that's the way you treat customers, as other reviews have mentioned this also.

Deceptive Ordering Practices

They have very deceptive marketing, ordering and subscription services. You are offered a special deal and when you try to redeem their special they bombard you with other product offers then in the end you can't redeem your original offer. They put items in your cart as you are trying to check out and if you keep them you lose your original offer... the scams are never ending. Also beware...They do not give you a heads up e-mail when a subscription is about to renew so if you are not ready, you end up with way more product than you ordered. I've also received bags of 10oz coffee when the product I ordered was 12 oz.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. It’s been nearly 2 weeks with multiple messages sent, and I’ve gotten zero response. I was charged for my subscription and sent the wrong items. Complete failure of customer service.

Horrific Customer service and product ehh

I agree with others in that Four Sigmatic has horrible customer service. AI response via email, charged me after emailing I did not want the product. Phone number doesn't work, no one gets back to you. And, the protein powder is the worst ever!

Four Sigmatic has rubbish costumer service. Their phone system doesn't work, it's automated machine and they don't reply to text or email. Forget any help from them. They are sneaky, just charge your credit card in auto-renewal subscriptions without sending you any notification or confirmation from customers.
Their lack of customer support is disgraceful and despicable. I don't care how "good" your product is, if you can not provide honest and decent customer support you should close your doors. Zero star is too much for them, they earn ZERO star.

Four Sigmatic is dishonest and…

Four Sigmatic is dishonest and unethical in how they handle orders. Their auto-renewal system is deceptive, charging me and shipping products without my confirmation. When I tried to contact support—three emails, two text messages, and three calls—I received absolutely NO response.

This company operates with zero integrity, ignoring customer concerns and refusing to address issues. Their lack of transparency and customer support is disgraceful. Avoid this company at all costs!
