good, but the price needs to go back down
when i comes to the health benefits, i think everyone will have a different experience with it, but overall im very happy with the effect they have on my mood and focus.
I quite like the products:
The vanilla one is OK, I like to put a scoop in my coffee. plain is not for me, but im making use of it right now.
The chocolate one is my favorite by far! the right sweetness, great cocoa taste, love it!
I'm not a great fan of sweets in general so wouldn't be fair to give my opinion on the gummy bears.
My only issue with these are the price. when i first got them on the trial, I was impressed, the price was probably just below the line of what i was willing to pay.
since then they have gone up in price, there is no way im paying what they are charging now, its just not worth it. i got the black Friday bundle deal which was ok cost, but no chance will i pay full price for them, they're not THAT good.
i hope these come back down in the future, a fair price would mean me coming back and im sure many others too

Subscription entrapment
EDIT: since writing my review (and getting my money back to be fair) I’ve been getting repeatedly emailed pressuring me to remove the review, even after I have explicitly stated I won’t remove it since it’s what truthfully happened and that I don’t wish to receive further emails. Variety Mode even went as far as having trustpilot remove my review but thankfully when I contacted trust pilot it got re instated. If you care about a company you spend money with being ethical do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
I didn’t love the taste but only because I don’t fancy a super sweet chocolate thing when having my shroom drink. My poor review is more down to cheap subscription entrapment tactics. I cancelled my subscription and received en email with extra discounts encouraging me to stay. I was convinced that was the last of it only to be surprised with a charge just now. Checked my subscription status and it was active? Not happy at all

My experience with Variety Cacao Shrooms was deeply disappointing on two major fronts.
First, the product did not work for me. After three sachets, I noticed zero improvement in focus or study alertness for my ADHD—its advertised purpose. Instead, I experienced palpitations, and the mix had a distinct, unpleasant stale odor (despite an okay taste).
Second, and most egregious, is the intentionally deceptive subscription model. Ordering the "free sample" automatically enrolled me in a full-price subscription without clear warning. Mere days later, I was charged £24 and notified a shipment was already processed—all without my consent. This is not a standard monthly subscription; it’s an immediate, hidden charge designed to trap customers.
While CEO Carl was professionally courteous via email, his explanation that they "cannot cancel shipments once issued online" is simply not credible. I resolved the subscription cancellation and received assurances within 10 minutes of contacting him—proving swift action is possible. I refuse to believe a business cannot request a package recall from a courier on the same day a shipment is issued, especially for an unwanted, fraudulently obtained order. Instead, I was forced to wait nearly a week to receive a product I never wanted, only to be told after I waited for product to be delivered that I must pay an additional £6 to return it.
This isn't about the £6—consumers regularly spend hundreds on products they value. It's about the complete lack of transparency, the hidden fees, and a process engineered to extract money, not to deliver value. A trustworthy company would seek confirmation before charging and shipping. This company takes your money first and hides the costs later.
The ineffective product, combined with this predatory and dishonest business practice, makes this a company I cannot trust and a product I strongly advise others to avoid. You are not just buying a product; you are entering a scam.
