This site should be shut down - an absolute con. My husband thought he was taxing his vehicle and ended up with a 50p and £7.85 charge - he's not used to doing anything on line, so was taken in by this site. Only when he came to get his MOT did he find it wasn't taxed. Never mind, he can speak to his bank - oh no he can't - his local branch has closed and you have to contact them online! What an ageist society we are living in!

There's something on Dvla website, I've had money taken from my bank, found a e mail couldn't access until I done a search in my email address, you can cancel it if you find the email, it's a reminder site for tax and mot , must be something when paying for road tax online,hope this helps people cancel it

This is really scam, lets be careful. this fake company started with £.50, then £7.89 and £7.89 on the 30/03/2024.I went to my bank and raised concern. My bank told me to prove that I have written to this company to reinstate my money. I have search but can`t find neither a phone number or an email, the good thing is my account has been blocked. I will screenshot all these reviews and take to the bank. I must have back my money.

Just called my bank and stopped future payments . This company is on the money experts Webb site with a warning. You think you are on the gov site but not and you get signed up. It’s a scam don’t touch them with a barge pole.

Just got scammed too! They probably love seeing these reviews tbh as they are clearly proud of it to keep going....wasted time on phone to bank and getting new card etc. But at least they won't get my money! They only got 50p from me. I agree though, why is it allowed to come up first on Google?!

They stole my account when I gave the "OK" to GOV.Uk for road tax.

First how to contact this scammer only need that or I will change my bank for this people And of course When they robbing us than is fine but when we writing any words is unacceptable shame on you

Scam artists! Took money from my elderly father. He thought he was paying his car tax. Luckily he got the money back by going to his bank. Avoid!!

This company is an out and out SCAM, we have been paying them since 2022, and only realised when looking at accounts more closely, rang the bank to stop this in Jan and Feb 2024 and told them to stop it only to find out it is still coming out!! rang again and reported it as fraud to the bank to be told they will issue a new card, as for getting our money back we are still trying, the banks must know where this money is going to from thousands of victims of this SCAM!! NO ONE SEEMS INTERESTED, Banks or police makes you wonder if they are all in on it. Just reading bottom of this review, apparantly they will send it to the scammers, info @ vehicleenquiry . uk . Good luck with that, you can't get hold of them there FRAUDSTERS!!!!

I phoned the bank as I had never heard of this firm.
I think I was sent there inadvertently when wanting to pay my road tax and had £7.95 taken from my account.
I have read the other reviews and will check that they take no more

Tried renewing my Car Tax only to be scammed by this Company - who are not registered with company house. They appear to have cloned the DVLA website and once I had input my credit card details the site confirmed on screen that I had paid my £180 car tax. I thought nothing more of it until one month later when I received a last chance reminder from DVLA saying that I had not paid and therefore had been driving without car tax for 3 weeks.
Vehicleinquiryuk initially took a 50p payment on 21/2 following by a £7.85 payment on 22/2 and I have a £7.85 further payment pending on 22/3.
Blocked my card with my bank and have ordered a new card today. I assume that they may well sell on the card number on the dark web once the know its blocked.
Based on other comments this appears to be a well know fraud so therefore not sure why their website has not been totally blocked by the Police, Banks or DVLA ?
Hard work and inconvenience for everyone else involved while they spend their stolen money. Avoid at all costs.!!!!!

Wife got caught out a couple of years ago with this site, and has always asked me to tax her car since then.
In a hurry and got caught out myself this time . Managed to cancel my subscription and account as the first payment of nearly £8 would have been taken tomorrow. Have also frozen my Natwest debit card, and will ask for a new one in due course.
Played the wife up about previously being caught, only to fall for it myself...damn it..
This site is so similar to the DVLA one, and presents first in the list before the Government site. How this is allowed to continue is beyond me..

Scammed just like the the other reviews phoned the bank to recover money

This Company is a Out & Out Scam.
I got our Car Tax renewal notice from DVLA, for our Tax Exempt Car, but we still have to apply every year.
I went to the DVLA from my browsers address bar (not search bar) and I was in DVLA filled in the few details required and pressed enter!
Up popped a card payment window, so I closed the the page down and tried again, result same thing.
As big firms now can ask for you to re enter your card details to prove it's me I was not concerned, so I entered my details.
After I did that the web page changed to DVLA saying our free tax disk would be issued in --March, all good and that's what happens every year.

But 2 Minutes later my Banking App pings up and that's when I saw a 50p payment taken from vehicleenquiry.uk.
So called my Bank and they could not do anything as the Payment was pending so I would have to wait until the money had been taken!
So I went to Vehicleenquiry Web Site, but that is a no good as you would have to sign in to your account to be able to contact them!!
In other words they are a Scam, no lagit Firm would do this?
24 Hours later an other payment for £7.85 was taken
Now 15th March my Bank are dealing with this and yes its a pain, but the best thing is DO NOT TOUCH THEM OR GO NEAR Vehicleenquiry UK-London.
And be aware DVLA are not able to help!
So that's how good DVLA is Abysmal.

Looks like I've been hit by the same scam. Vehicle tax reminder letter came went through the due process to renew . Only to find 50p and 7.85 have gone out of my account.

Used this sight i thought to pay car tax. Big mistake.
Got charged 50p which should have raised alarm bells
Checked next day with my credit card company and they had taken £7.80p
Without my authority because it was a subscription charge which I was never made aware of. I'm trying to get a refund and will fight to get it back.

Avoid avoid avoid. This seems to me to be a cloned site to look like the vehicle tax site. Please report this on the Action Fraud site

Take 50p and then a regular subscription! Bank won’t refund but have stopped future payments . It’s a DVLA look alike

This is a total illegal scam and the police should be after the people concerned surely they can trace the people. It is modern day burglary.
