We do one thing: we survey. We don't sell heat pumps, solar panels, batteries or heat loss calculations as part of an install package — which means our reports are genuinely independent. Our customers get the evidence they need to make a decision, not a sales pitch dressed up as a survey. Every job we take on produces a Vertex pack: photos, measurements, room-by-room heat loss calculations (MIS3005-D aligned), cylinder and pipework assessments, noise and siting checks, and a written report delivered through our secure portal — usually the same week as the site visit. For installer companies, we work as an outsourced survey team. Same-week turnaround, fixed per-pack pricing, consistent pack structure across every job, and no competing commercial interest in the install outcome. For homeowners, we provide a one-off independent survey they can share with any installer they choose. We cover England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with a home base in Yorkshire. Excellent experience with Vertex…
Excellent experience with Vertex Surveys. Stephen was very professional, thorough and clearly knew what he was doing.
He used a drone to inspect the roof and property, took detailed measurements in the loft using a laser measure, and carefully checked all the proposed installation areas. He also listened to my preference regarding the battery location, assessed it properly and confirmed that it was suitable.
Everything was checked carefully, explained clearly and there were no issues identified with the proposed installation.
Very impressed with Stephen and the overall service from Vertex Surveys. Professional, thorough and highly recommended.

Steve was friendly and informative during his survey visit answering my questions immediately and even offering help with how best to run a heat pump during the months when it’s not so sunny.

Professional and helpful visit
Stephen was covering for another surveyor who was unable to make it at short notice. He called in advance to apologise, explained the situation and gave us a new ETA. He arrived on time and proceeded to do the survey efficiently and professionally. A very nice guy, he explained exactly what he was going to do and where his visit fit within the overall process. He also answered lots of our questions. He was polite at all times and couldn't have been more helpful. A very positive experience
