I am so happy I chose to work with Vida!
Francesca is my matchmaker and she is excellent! She is so responsive and helpful. So happy I’m working with her.
Before I found Vida, I worked with a local matchmaker that was a large upfront fee, and they only focused on the city that I live in. They were nice people, but I really did not connect with any of the dates and this was for over a year.
I have only been working with Vida for about a month and they have already set me up on 2 amazing dates where I really connected with the other person. The difference is that they are pulling from a much larger pool of people.
Plus instead of a large upfront fee, they just charge by the month, which is much more reasonable financially.
I wish I had chosen Vida from the start.

I want you to know how delighted I am working with Francesca and Vida. She and her team care to get to know me and understand what I am seeking in women I would date. They have provided many great candidates in a short period of time. I have worked with other services. But they have a very limited pool of people in and within 2 hours of the Tampa Bay area. The other services want to introduce me to people that are a 4 or 5 hour drive and, in some cases, would required an airplane ride to get to.

I have already referred them to a good friend that is also considering using a dating service.

Communication with me was very good and they quickly took my comments and feedback into account. I feel like they were serious about helping me find a relationship.

I took a chance on Vida.

Their approach advertises access to date at a more affordable model than most other matchmaking services I've looked at. It's not-conventional, they drive your already existing dating apps for you, which I didn't fully understand until the intake call.

It took ~1.5 months to get everything set up. They do use AI to help generate photos based on photo sets you give them. Which I didn't understand until the photo set was presented to me for approval. The team was very willing to make adjustments (i.e. use just actual photos of me) at my request though.

Now that we are rolling there has been surprisingly good results. I approve all matches to pursue. The team is able to chat with matches, coordinate/setup dates, and get phone numbers with pretty much no effort from me. Once I have a phone number I take it from there.

Overall I'm happy with the direction this is going - but I hope the team continues to refine and evolve the approach. It's important to be more clear about how the system works and the approach, ideally before the intake call.. and disclose the use of AI in the photo department prior to giving me the first look at photos for approval. Looking forward to seeing how this fully plays out.. but excited to work with the team.

Vida provides an outstanding service. If you use Vida, you will get quality dates from on-line dating apps. My matchmaker Shyne and her team work with me and work together to ensure I connect with the matches that are right for me. I don't need to spend my time finding the right matches because Shyne and her team handle that. I just meet my matches and be myself.

I joined VIDA less than 2 months ago. I’ve only had two introductions … but I remain optimistic as it’s been such a brief period of time. Johanna is very nice and communicative.

Shyne was a great match maker. Highly recommend her service. You can’t go wrong.

Vida made getting back into the dating scene after a long-term relationship exponentially easier! My matchmaker, Nordika, was extremely kind and understanding and really helped me narrow down what I was looking for. We tried various strategies that she brought to the table, and I finally ended up meeting someone I really like. I honestly don't think this would have been possible without Vida and I highly recommend them to anyone who is very busy and somewhat picky like I am.

Working with VIDA Select/ Francesca Wright - my relationship coach and Matchmaker - was a delightful experience. Francesca is always encouraging and offering positive perspectives. I told Francesca that she was an instrument in God's hands, that she was helping me to "ask, seek, and knock" for MY PERSON. AND I FOUND HER. If you are considering using VIDA realize that they are working around the clock to bring you home to THAT PERSON that will meet your needs. My new girlfriend-LTR suggested that this service deserved a BONUS because she noticed that (seemingly) my profile never slept! Funny. The process is easy. They walk you through it with Zooms, texts and personal phone calls. They are very proactive- setting up sessions to coordinate on a regular basis to tweak what is happening. Like the GPS, you can't take a wrong turn! It just redirects and keeps going. If I sound excited, I am. I really thought that the likelihood of matching me would be pretty tough, but in fact, I met a person that was my exact compliment which rocks my world, since my type only accounts for 1.8% of the population. As an Engineer I have trouble striking up that first conversation, which is the real beauty of this service: they open that door for you. I cannot provide a higher recommendation for VIDA Select and Francesca and her team. The process starts out slow, then picks up, so keep that in mind. But for me, from beginning to end it was only a little over 3 months. Thank YOU so much!

I've used them twice. The first time, within 6 weeks I was dating 3 PhDs. I've been with one of them for almost 5 years now. Both times I've used Vida the people and results have been great, especially my matchmaker Nordika, who was such a help and made it so fun!

I want to do my best to write a review that hopefully helps others who are looking into this service and deciding if it is right for them. My aim is not to write a negative review for the sole purpose of bashing VIDA. With that in mind, let’s begin.

Before we get into the positives and negatives, I would first like to start off by saying that at the time of using this service, I was in my mid to late twenties. I believe that is imperative to my experience, so please keep that in mind. I will get into it later, but I believe if you are older, you will have a different experience.

Okay, now with that out of the way, let’s go into what VIDA pitched to me. On the first outreach call, I had a very pleasant chat with what I assumed was a salesman of some sort, who asked for some basic info and answered my questions. I did ask if my age would be an issue, and he assured me it would not be.

After that, I came to this site to read reviews, and one struck out to me, talking about how they manage your dating apps. That struck me as odd, since that is not the traditional avenue for matchmakers, so I went and asked the salesperson about it. He confirmed that was the case, saying I should expect 60% dating app management and 40% traditional database matchmaking. In the end, that was closer to 95% dating app management and 5% traditional database matchmaking, but I will speak on that later.

Next, I signed up and had my screening call with the matchmaker. I think she had thoughtful questions and did her job well. I went out of my way to ask if my filters would prohibit me or be too narrow for any database matches, and she assured me that I would be okay.

Next, they helped me create some new profile pictures, which seemed edited by AI, but were not too bad honestly, and created my dating profiles. They also heavily suggested I buy the premium version, which is no small fee, basically adding another 8–10% to the cost.

Now, to the results. In one month’s time, they managed to get me two phone numbers of girls from dating apps and only ONE potential database match, and that was AFTER I had to expand my age range by two years. Now, they do say 1–3 matches, so technically speaking, they somewhat delivered. However, I, on my own accord, could have gotten those matches from the dating apps easily. What I can’t believe is how little prospective database hits I got. They even said “quote-unquote” the main limiting factor was my age range.

What I was so disappointed about is that on all accounts I was assured my age would not be an issue, and it wound up being an issue. The biggest problem is that this was more of a dating app management service rather than matchmaking. I cannot imagine any guy in my age range who is so busy that they can’t use dating apps on their own time, especially for the price point.

I think if you are in your 30s, this will be better, especially if you don’t use dating apps often. However, if you are below 30, I just can’t recommend this service. (Side note: I was also in their most populated region in the US (NYC area), so if you are not there, it will be even rougher.)

They basically swipe right and left for you. They talk for you but to be honest it doesn’t sound like you. When you say no women wider than you there will still be women wider than you. You set an upper age limit and you will get matched with people outside that age limit. They count conversations with people who fail to disclose having kids as actual conversations. If the apps haven’t worked for you don’t use their service. Oh and you need to go out and get professional photos and they want to use AI to doctor them up and put you in places you haven’t been. Seems very dishonest. Don’t believe them when they say they have an internal database of other clients, it’s unlikely you will get any matches from them. I got one phone number and the person never responded but hey that counts as a success I guess. My wallet is lighter and no results. Like ordering and paying for a steak and getting an empty cold plate.

My experience with Vida Select has been mostly positive, but I wouldn’t really recommend it for anyone under 30 — especially early 20s like me (I’m 24).

The team itself has been great. My matchmaker, Francesca, actually found several profiles that fit what I’m looking for, and the writers handled messaging super well. No shade to them at all — they did their part.

The issue is just dating app culture for people my age. My profiles went live about three weeks ago, and I’ve gotten a ton of matches — like genuinely top-tier Hinge performance for Chicago. But converting those matches into real dates has been rough. I’ve only had one date, she showed up 20 minutes late, and it wasn’t a great match. Another date canceled the night before, so I had to scrap the dinner reservation.

So if you’re in your early–mid 20s, have high standards, and want something serious, Vida might not feel worth it just because dating in this age bracket is chaotic no matter how good your profile looks. I think their service shines more for older age groups where follow-through is more consistent.

Overall: solid company, great staff — just not the best fit for younger people dealing with all the flakiness that comes with app-based dating right now.

Between running my business and two teenagers I had zero time for dating. Was worried about wasting what little free time I have on the wrong people. They found men who understood my schedule, busy in their own right. Seeing someone now who actually brought homemade cookies to our first date - major points! Setup took longer than expected but once we were going, it worked great. If you're a busy parent this actually works.

Francesca Wright has made my experience wonderful and has done all the heavy lifting to make my dating experience easy and stress free!

The service does not deliver as promised. Essentially they function as a Cyrano ghost writing for the client on multiple online dating applications. They craft your profiles, they edit your photos and then they ghostwrite. Packages start at different levels for different numbers of hours per month that they will be servicing the client. My experience was not what it was hyped to be at the initial interview and intake session. Although they didn't make specific promises they implied that they have an internal database of users that they use in addition to online dating services to find the perfect match for you. I was extremely skeptical because I live in a relatively rural area small Urban population of approximately 380,000 people. They were very enthusiastic that they would be able to deliver within a short period of time. They actually delivered nothing. Almost 1,800 out for the first month, multiple technical difficulties where they were unable to appropriately access the websites. They also failed to tell you up front that there product violates the fair use terms of pretty much every online dating service that does not allow ghost riding. This is strictly forbidden. I was almost banned from one platform because of this. They fail to mention any of this in the initial intake and only when it rears its ugly head later do they come forward. They said yes we violate the terms but we're not malicious in doing so we're genuine and honest in representing you.

Overall it does not appear that they responded to matches timely, it does not appear that the number of hours which I paid for were the number of hours of service that I actually received. The quality of the communication with the matches was subpar. I actually had better success managing everything on my own. They are essentially a very expensive secretarial service that manages online dating accounts. I have not seen any evidence of an internal database of which they spoke in our initial interview, which would match me with potential partners. The only thing I saw was online activity which did not appear to be consistent with the amount of hours that I was paying for and the quality of communication was not what I expected.

If you do not live in a major metropolitan area, the success you experience will probably be no better than what you are currently experiencing managing your own online dating profiles if you are a decent communicator. I do not see any value in this service. Again, they are very nice and courteous however, they did not deliver and there is no value added here in fact, in Brooklyn we would call this a rip off. If they were a solid company they would have a money back policy and I would be getting a refund right now. They did not make good on any of the promises they made or things they alluded to in our intake conversation. $1,800 out of pocket and nothing to show for it. As soon as this review went up somebody contacted me from their customer service department it was the same person that I had sent emails to telling them during my tenure with the organization that I was extremely disappointed in the service and my experience wasn't good. She never reached out to me to discuss until this review went up. She asked what I thought would be a good solution I said a full refund she laughed. That's their customer service for you.

The VIDAselect team and Shyne truly helped me a lot — from selecting the right photos and creating my profile, to writing messages and even setting up dates.
I’m not that young anymore, and honestly, I was prepared to meet at least 10 people within 3 months before finding the right match.
But thanks to their precise matchmaking and smart strategy, I met a wonderful person in less than a month — on my second date!

My UHNW friend mentioned he tried it once. It didn’t work for him, but I thought I’d give it a shot. To book the first call, I had to fill out a bunch of questions on the website, one of which peculiarly asked for my salary. I don’t have a salary since my income is entirely passive from my capital, so I entered something average. I also sent them a link with a detailed description of whom I’m looking for. I believe this might have been the reason they didn’t even show up for the call.

I wanted to reschedule since I never heard from them, but the confirmation email emphasized how much time their specialists spend preparing and asked to respect their time, so I didn’t. Apparently, they didn’t even check that document.

It seems their target audience is 9-to-5 Big Tech workers with poor social skills who fail to get dates because they rely on Tinder. If you have any real social skills or a lifestyle outside that narrow box, this service won’t be helpful.

Great service for super busy people. They take the time to get to know you and have represented me well. I’ve been involved every step of the way! Particularly good working with Francesca.

I felt ripped off by VIDA Select. They offered me a "discounted" 3-month trial membership for $3,000. The profiles they wrote for me were good, as was the photo collage they created for the various dating websites they recommended that I join. That was the end of the good stuff, though. My matchmaker, Francesca, was supposed to spend 40 hours per month on my account. I don't think that happened. In 3 months, she found less than a handful of "matches." I felt that the messages the VIDA team wrote were either sarcastic, snarky and/or trite. There were glitches all along the way: trouble getting registered for the websites, Francesca not doing things she said she would do and me being "banned" from one site because they said by reading my profile that I'm obviously married (which I am not). I suggest that you stay away from VIDA Select.
