This is a DIFFERENT kind of recommendation! We needed a way to get our adult son to the northernmost point of Iceland for a solo hike to the southernmost point. After taking him to the very remote trailhead, we wanted to make the remainder of our stay do-able and in the process, enjoyable! Vik provided bookings in the most remote areas. He calculated travel times between small villages, had suggestions for places to outfit our experienced hiker which might also provide shared family adventure. In short, Vik showed that this “impossible” trip through some of the most remote northern Icelandic towns was indeed possible, and could be fun! Due to unforeseen date conflicts, we ended up not being able to follow through with the inspired detailed plans that Vinago Travel designed for us, but our view of the wonderful possibilities in remote locales has expanded exponentially. Highest praise for this unique company. We hope to plan another trip with them, perhaps in more temperate climes!

We have used Vik on a number of trips, and as always his planning was fantastic for our tour of Croatia. His recommendations for hotels, tours, and highlight areas to include on our trip were spot on, and in retrospect we wouldn't have changed a thing.

From start to finish, Vinago Travel provided superb service for our recent trip to Kenya. Vik's endless patience with our (endless!) questions was reassuring. He coordinated with our safari tour operator to make sure that the logistics, lodging, and activities on our trip went smoothly. He planned the trip to fit within our budget, made helpful suggestions, and relied upon his own experience on a recent African vacation to help us experience a trip that far exceeded our expectations.

Vik was an absolute pleasure to work with! He really took the time to understand our travel preferences and put together arrangements that were both convenient and comfortable. Our trip details were planned seamlessly and Vik made sure every aspect of our trip was coordinated carefully. We spent two weeks in France and Switzerland with 13 people and without Vik’s assistance we would have had so much more stress planning.

Vik's attention to detail was excellent. He gave us choices about hotels, tours, and more. The app made it possible to easily locate scheduled events, tickets, and hotels. We appreciated his suggestions about Chester and Wales, and loved that he was able to arrange tours and train tickets for us.

Vik was very responsive. He recommended several hotels in Stockholm which he thought would be convenient for us, near the train station. The hotel we chose from his list was nice and well located near all public transportation. Vik also obtained train tickets for us to use on route to Copenhagen. The train ride ended up plagued by unpredictable delays. After the fact, Vik went to bat for us with the Swedish train authorities and obtained a full refund for us. We will definitely use Vik’s travel services again in the future!

Wonderful Tour of England. Vik at Vinago travel worked with me for months to coordinate our 18 days in England. We stayed in six different cities, with events/tours in each one. Vik was able to find us excellent lodging options even with my preference for smaller inns on this trip. He worked through logistics, transportation, event tickets and tours for the entirety of our time in England. He even made a personal visit to our hotel in London and sent more recommendations to us as we were traveling. He was supportive, patient and gave us excellent advice. Having a TA on the ground in the country you'll be visiting was definitely a good decision. Thank you Vik!!

Vicky at Vinago Travel prepared a wonderful itinerary for my family's trip to the Isles of Mull, Iona, Lunga, Staffa and Skye. He shared with us information about the puffin birds at Lunga and the Fingal's cave at Staffa and even shared the link to book the tours. Furthermore, he briefed us on how to overcome the transport challenges on the Isle of Mull, which we weren't aware of. There are just a few taxis and bus is the only mode of transport. Thanks to Vicky's detailed itinerary for the Isle of Iona, we were able to visit the Iona Abbey and Church, which was a powerful experience for us as a family.

He also advised us on the most economical modes of transport that we could use to travel from Inverness to the western Isles and then to London. This was very helpful information.

Vicky also planned an excellent trip to the Isle of Skye for my family. The itinerary took into account our expectations and the driver Billie was very kind and helpful. The vehicle was comfortable.

I reached out to Vinago Travel via their website to plan a trip to Ireland for 3 days. Mr. Vicky from Vinago Travel was very prompt in responding to us. He assisted us in planning the whole trip by giving his valuable inputs about our sightseeing places and provided us with a personalized itinerary. The package including accomodation and day tours was quoted at a reasonable price. The updates of our day tours were communicated to us promptly through mail. Would highly recommend to avail their services for a smooth holiday experience.

Vik was a great help in planning our European trip. Even though I worked in the past as a travel agent myself, I was unfamiliar with the European market and options. Vik arranged travel for my family to tour multiple locations in England and Italy over three weeks and many different settings. Highlights were the gardens and castles around Cornwall England and the rural countryside around Cortona Italy. I was a very late addition to the group and so there was a miscommunication about lodging at one place, but that was the only snag and it was straightened out soon. Everything else went great, Vik had wonderful suggestions and insight on where to go and what to see over both countries. We were very happy with his services and wholeheartedly recommend him.
