Vin Data Report(VDR) 

What a waste. Got a report. It only told me my vehicle was registered in the state a live in ... Yeah, to me. Nothing else. Totally useless reports.

I was suckered in by the 'bait and switch' "$1 for one page report." A month later, I have a credit card bill for $23.98. Credit card company says "you signed up for a monthly subscription" NO I DID NOT. I was SCAMMED by a bait & switch con job. Called vindatareport, cancelled the 'subscription' I never authorized and was promised a refund. SCAM ALERT - stay away!

Sold my car in October so looked for a report for my car to give to the new buyer as I couldn't find the service history from one year. Inserted my info and bank details to pay a £1 for the report. No report has been received but that day and every month since they've taken £19.95 from me, totalling over £100. Contacted them on several different methods and emails were either not responded to, mailed to provider, or "we are not part of that company so can't help you". I froze my card whilst dealing with the matter but the payments still came out. Luckily I managed to dispute this with my credit card company and get my money back, card cancelled and all future payments blocked.

In mid December 2022 I requested two
reports. I didn't get much information but
I got billed properly for the two.
This month, January, I have 5 more of the same amount.
I've began a dispute with my C. C. company. I will add to this as I get it resolved.

Paid £1.00 for a Vin data report, which was a joke. A fortnight later they took another £19.95 out. Going off other trust pilot reports this is as scam company. My bank TSB said they could not stop payments in the future. I had to raise dispute with them. Please do not use them, read all the Trust pilot reviews. I wish I had checked them myself.

This Site is a total Scam,I made the mistake of selecting it for Vin check of motorcycle I had just purchased, single report was suppose to be $1, gave them requested info and in few seconds received info that stated vehicle was a car. I wrote the dollar off as a cheap lesson not to use that sight again. A minutes later i decided to go back and check if I had entered the Vin number correctly only to find that not only had they taken a doller but had also taken an additional $.95 and then $23.95. I contacted them immediately to find out what was going on. When lady answered I asked her what was going on, she checked and replied "When you entered your payment information, you must have mistakenly selected subscription option" I told her no way in Hell did I do that, you can keep the dollar, it was only a few minutes ago so I would like a refund of my $23.95 and the so called Sunscription closed/canclled right now, she said I will cancel your Subscription now but will have to send your refund request to a different department. Conversation ended. I immediately went to my Debit card company and had them block/deny any money request from Vindatareport Net. Since that time constantly every 6 or 7 days there is an attemp by Vindatareport Net to debit my card for $23.95 all have been successively blocked. When calling the company if call is answered lady on other end claims to only be able to help if you're having problems entering your payment information, she offers an email address that should be used to contact company for other issues, bottom line stay away from this site no matter what.

Like so many others this site tried to rip me off by using the $1 bait and switch. I was immediately informed that I had a charge for $23.95 on my credit card. I called Chase to dispute the charge and was told that they would have to issue a new card so they could go through with it. I agreed, cancelled my card and was issued a new one. Inconvenient but I wasn't going to let them get away with this rip-off scam. Why can't sites like this be shut down???

Total scam!!!! I gave information to get vin data report when I used CARFAX to get information on a vehicle. They were supposed to charge my account $1. Before I discovered the scam and shut them down they had hit my account for $18.94 four times in a 6 week period. They claim when I got my data report I signed up for a service, which was total BS. Could not explain what service was and I never received anything. TOTAL SCAM and CARFAX should be ashamed of themselves for being associated with this service.

I put in my card information for what I thought would be a $1 charge. Went to the next page to authorize the payment, got a whiff that it could be a scam, and just left the site. Sadly, it was too late for me. I had not gotten a single product or service from them, but I found that they’ve been charging me $25 a week at least for the past 3 months. Had to call my bank to sort it out. This website is a scam run by scummy thieves. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING JUST RUN

So I see i wasnt the only one scammed by this feickers. Its amazing how they still have the website running. Be carefull

Total scam. I paid the $1 for one report and the continuously charged my card for $24.95 for several weeks. When you call no one helps you. Stay away!!

This is scam. They stolen 28.99 from my pocket. They ask you to send the report to him and never call you back. I paid via PayPal and his email start with @Jonh something else.

This is a scam. Please do not use this service provider. They have charged me more than $2,500 over a month with $24.95 (three times a day) and then recently with $179.95 (two times a day)

Scam. Glad I just caught it in time. They were charging me $179.95 a day for the past 2 weeks!!! Yikes. Thank goodness for credit card protections.

This is a scam. Charged me 24.95 continuously within days apart. Called to cancel and complain and got 3 charges reversed. Ended up costing me 175+ and I'm still calling and complaining with no response from them. DO NOT USE OR GIVE THEM CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!

Just looking to get a car report to sell my car. They told me I’d be charged one dollar…I have the screenshot and then about a minute after I put in my credit card number I received a text from capital one suspecting a $179 purchase from them of fraud. Thank god I hadn’t used a debit card…I check that much less frequently and know they don’t have the same fraud protection. Such a scam. These people should be in jail for stealing money, I’m not sure how this is still allowed.

I’d give a negative star if I could. What a scam! The supposed $1 report ends up being $24.95. Even if you don’t click through to approve the subscription, they charge you $24.95 and oh no not just once, but over and over again.
I am sending their name and what they’re doing to people to my State’s Attorney General office and recommend everyone here do the same in their states.

Horrible. Says a report is $1 then proceeds to charge you 24.95 multiple times throughout the month. I ended up having to cancel my card and get a new one. Thankfully, my debit card company flagged it as fraud each time they tried to pull the money.
